Campsite at the shore of Lake Nyassa in Cóbuè. Lots of people and kids around but no one disturbed. Camping 150mtc pppn. Cottages with pit toilets and bucket showers available. For camping a cottage was opened for us to use the abolutions. Place is run down but clean. Julius the owner is very friendly and helpful. He speaks English.

Arrived after dark and set up a tent on the edge of the parking lot. Was awoken at 8:30am by a US Forest Service ranger issuing each member of our party a $65 citation for failing to secure a free camping permit at the nearest US Forest Service office.

Very little shade and it was blazing hot within 30 mins after sunrise.

Just nice, clean and cheap place to sleep...we paid 18€ for two, clean room, warm shower, secured parking for motorcycle.
Dinner at restaurant was very delicious and cost about 3€
Only ‘live’ place in Belimel, on main road

So helpful and knowledgeable and didn’t even want anything for his time. A small garage and only one in town. No sign just off the road by builders world.

if you fill up gas or diesel, you can fill up your water tank for free. very friendly people

small garage but very helpful staff, good English on one of the owners. Replaced our break vacume in our diesel van for 200 pesos not including the part. Worked on it same day we received the part and were finished in a few hours.

National Park Campground - Visitor Center is 50m away - very short drive to the Skyline Trail - Fast Wifi
Don't miss the Arcadian Trail which starts directly behind the campground.
We had quite a few biting flies at the campsite.

Still 10 USD pppn incl entry to the snake park. The campsite itself is simple with a big grass field where you can camp. Toilet and shower are okay, but not really clean. The bar is the main thing with a good vibe and friendly people. Also the owners are very knowledgeably and can help you out.
If you are looking for a nice and beautiful campsite, your best bet is outside of Arusha.

A small family Winery, where the owner invite you to a short and simple tour free, without any payment. Is possible by some bottles. We recomend

The climbing here is really fun on conglomerate rock... it is quite noisy though and if sleeping in your car I would recommend trying to sleep somewhere else ( I have placed a marker just north of here) ...

Just a place to sleep/rest if you need to, and the preferred place for us to sleep while climbing at Las Chilcas for a few days - the petrol stations are on the other side of the toll booths so would cost $2500 clp to pass one way. The toilets are a bit old but clean enough and there are some benches to sit in the shade, plus a couple of play things for kids. There are not a lot of trucks parked here as there is not a lot of space for them. There are the cabineros next door and paramedics in the same carpark - also very cheap and tasty empanadas in the mornings!

Parking by the beach, large and quiet. Nice beach with pontoon and outdoor shower. Quiet night. Basketball court and children's game

The best sea food restaurant of Bombinhas peninsula. They have fish, shrimps and oyster. We eat a really good fish of the day here.
Open all days in high season and only Thursday to Sunday in low season.

Good assortment of different brands of tyres. He can also organize different sizes of tyres in 2 days from Lima.

It is our first cenote in Mexico and we really like it! Underground, cold, good lights, just nice to cool down for some hours ;)! 60 pesos per person.

Nice and quiet place, also very friendly owners who help you in case you need. (15Bls per day)

They open the gate for camping on friday and saturday. during the week you can ask the locals in the small village. they will open the entrance to the dunes for you. 20 pesos entrance and another 20 to stay overnight.

Beautiful campground and super friendly staff! Very busy when we were here but amazing views! Can see whales right from shore. $40cad per night with service

JC is super super friendly and will fix / do maintenance on your VW vanagon. He did an amazing job on ours repairing multiple things. Highly recommended !!

Spot sympa pour la nuit, calme, personne pour vous importuner. A l’ombre sous les arbres à moins de 10 mètres de la mer. Baignade accessible facilement. Convient à tous les véhicules.

Biggest Campground in Yellowstone National Park operated by the National Park Service with 112 sites. Central situated in the park. Sites first come first serve. Usually full before noon. $ 20.

You are not at meat cove for a resort....you are there for the sea food chowder, the whales which there were pods and pods, we could here them letting air out their blow holes, for the views and for the amazing and incredible experience of a 9 km dirt track ride to the edge of Cape Breton.....it IS rugged but it THE most amazing experience, you simply should NOT miss this!!! The sea food chowder is THE ABSOLUTE best I had on the entire east coast! We didn’t camp here, drove in and out in one day.....but next time I WILL most definitely stay at least a couple days!! Kim

Super chilled, easy going and honest mechanic! he's used to help travelers on the alaska highway, and he helped us as well (ford e350 van).
A much better and cheaper option than ford or toyota!
(has computer for diagnostics as well)

Nice fallait, pique-nique, waking trails.

Nice little picnic rest stop off hwy 1. It's a local fishing spot. A couple other campers are here as well as a bunch of cute ducks! Some hwy noise.
