Der Duschvorhang musste von meinen Mann festgehalten werden. Dusche befindet sich im Freien. Haare waschen ist schlecht, da das Wasser mehr Tropfenweise aus den Hahn kommt. Wir reisen morgen ab.

Good place for lunch. They have a lot of choice: soups, salads, sandwiches, main courses... Loads of vegetarian options.
Menu for 15 soles (lomo saltado of alpaca and a soup). Sandwiches 3-10 soles.
The lomo saltado and the soup were great, the sandwiches a bit disappointing...

Horribly loud. Bad idea staying here. Plaza was full until midnight in a Tuesday night and still people making noise around 2:30am with loud cars passing nonstop. Left for the spot out front the airport entrance, significantly better.

Could be VERY crowded! We put up our tent in the afternoon and until evening there were tents all around very close (see foto).
Campsite and facilities are clean. WiFi was OK until the place was crowded.

one of the largest rock climbing areas in Colombia. it has sport, mixed and trad climbing. be prepared for a high first bolt and long run outs. for pure sports climbing la mojarra 4h further north might be a better choice.
the rocks are in a nice landscape and mostly in the shade.
you can stay in some hostels or the campground already marked on ioverlander.
you can rent gear for expensive in la nomads hostel but just a rope is 65k a day so better to byo. there is a climbing shop which is normally closed in the week but you can call and someone can open it.
on the weekend it gets busy especially on the easy routes in the week it is quiet.

Exactly as described; 2wd is OK with good clearence, windy and paneramic views.

Spent several nights here... some city noise and a train that likes to roll through at night but can’t beat the location. Had police in the lot with us and other rigs also, seems to be “city approved”.

By side the E 30 highway. In the way to Manta. Between Quevedo city and Puertoviejo.
Little noisy but safe and has toillets with showers. Wifi, shampoo, alcohol gel, paper towels.

Got onto Pablo from locals in the area. He is known as the magician of physio and osteopath in this area. He studied in Spain and practices in the front office section of Meli Molo. He definitely investigates injuries or illnesses and gives a very thorough examination. He is very professional and I would highly recommend to anyone needing some help. Thanks again Pablo! Good petfriendly hotel close to the town of Tulum with pool and garden. Appartment with balcony, aircon and equipped kitchen, ca. 1200 pesos (we got 10% discount on 4th night). Parking is street parking by the entrance, but felt safe. No rigs bigger than 22 feet will fit.

Nobody around when we passed yesterday by bicycle (10 AM and 1 PM) and today by car (9 AM and 2 PM).

Older Campground and RV Park. If you're looking for new and well keept facilities, you're wrong. If you're on a budget might be your place. Regular prices are 41,- for full hook up, 36,- for water+electric , 16,- for a tent site.

Little neat campground. Ideal to explore Zihuatanejo or visit the Museo Xihuacan and argeological site.

From Mamou to Faranah the road is potholed but tolerable, from Faranah to Kissidougou it is worse. After Kissidougou it is a great new European road with signs and decent speed bumps ... until about 15km out of Gueckedou when calling it a road would be a huge overstatement. Done in 2x4 but horrible

Marked in maps me as Cerro Castillo NP Camping. Nice setting in a forest. Toilets and shower (hot from 7pm till late) clean. 6000cp pP. Nice walks from campground.

El camping es gratuito, cuenta con duchas de agua fria , electricidad y es muy tranquilo , al lado de la laguna La Rosita.. Tiene agua potable y mucho lugar para estacionar ..

They also rent rooms for 5usd/night
A bit noisy at night (dogs mostly) but very friendly people
Seemed better than the hotel nearby, where the water in the bathroom was totally cold

Couple of small supermarkets and restaurants. Useful, if a little expensive, for resupply of food and water along this quiet road. Friendly service.
