Really nice place with a beautiful view of Osorno vulcano, you can trek there and the campsite has a little beach to swim in the river. Yo have to cross the river with little boats (500 pp) and then you put your tent where you want. A lot of chilean teenagers and families there, some tables, waterpoints and toilets. There's showers but I didn't tried.
Price is 5000 for the tent and no charges for the persons into the tent.
Neighbours are selling beers, cigarets and you can rent a kayak. Tourism office in Pto Varas has informations !

Hadn’t planned on camping here, but glad I did. Just letting the wind take me wherever it does. The canyon rim hike, well worth the price to stay for the night.

The only supermarket in the area. Stocking is OK but not great, prices are extremely high. Licquor Store as well.

We really liked this spot. It has a pool, a gorgeous common area with a kitchen and very good toilets/showers. The view is great and the owners are very welcoming. You walk ten minutes to the beach - most people here use their bikes/cars.

Big flat spot next to the road. We stayed here for the night, made a fire camp. Don’t stay too close from the road where it’s not really clean. Ok for big rigs. Lot of cars passing by on this road during the day, a bit less during the night, not so noisy.
If you have a tent you can even go further than this flat spot, just behind it there’s a small valley, hidden from the cars passing by.

The road is really bad, a bit destroyed over hundreds of meters, big wholes. Honestly if we knew the PE-08B was like that, we wouldn’t have gone to Kuelap (super tiny, hundreds of meters of cliffs). The road is dangerous by car, we have a combi, we don’t recommend you to do it unless you have a bike. Not okay for big rigs, even though we crossed trucks on the road, but for your safety don’t do it.

We tried to go down to Fiambala via RP 34, because we imagined it would be easier than the (on maps) smaller route via Las Papas. About 10 km north of here we turned around. The road has not been used for at least a year, there are no tracks, it disappears sometimes under sand and there are heavy washouts. For our big 8-ton-trucks it is not possible, maybe with smaller and lighter vehicles.

Guardian parking on tarmac right on the beachfront. 30dh per night collected by the Guardian in the evening. Restaurant in tent on the seafront and further shops, restaurants etc about 1km in the village. Quiet at night very little traffic or people around in February. Toilets/showers on beach locked but believe you can get the key from the Guardian

We could not find anyone to ask at or near the gate. It doesn’t appear that you can drive to the lake from here. Maybe walk in camp only? Not to sure.

I think we may be the last to camp here. It is private property and they are constructing a big house overlooking the lake. The workers said we could camp for the night and were friendly, but that will likely change as the house is built. Hard to find good free camp in these parts

Only suitable for people who don't have a car! There is an turn off to the river, but with a difference in height due to great bolders, so need to carry you're bicycle and gear down. You're completely hidden from the road. Wind protected spot available. Only space for 1 (smallish) tent (more possible, but they will be visible). Next to the river for water, bathing and for a nice sound. Great views over surrounding mountains. Further up south there is completely nothing until the other side of the pass

Very upscale hotel with nice bar / restaurant. Coffee and limonada pricing (2,800 + 3,000 respectively) was reasonable (cheaper than in town), especially considering the comfort and class of the place. I would recommend putting on clean clothes before going.

This place was amazing. Just 4 minutes down the road from the Cenote Chukumaltik, it is a series of pools in the "downtown" area of Uninajab. When you first arrive, it looks like there is just one large man made river running through the village with little bridges crossing it at intervals. You can either park there by the palapas or keep driving around the corner, taking your first right onto the road with the two cement tracks for tires.

The pool and palapa area extends down the hillside. Spring water cascades down through man made channels into 11 lower pools (there are large, swimming pool sized ones and smaller lounging pools). The upper pool area which looks like a river technically has 5 pools, but they flow down into one another and look like they are all one pool. The uppermost pool in the town has rope swings and the pool there is more than deep enough for diving. The water is crystal clear.

There are bathrooms at no charge. You must fill a bucket with water and pour it in the toilet to flush. There are several restaurants and convenience stores for beer and snacks.

A sign posted near the entrance lists prices for different sized vehicles, but we paid 50 pesos per day for our van (you pay per vehicle, not person), even though the sign said 100 pesos for camionetas. Our first night there we received a receipt, but not on our second night. We had no issues on that front. The receipt didn't have the date on it anyway. We slept on the street in our van with no issues. It was quiet and dark. The area gets very windy in the evening, which is a nice change from the heat of the day. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Provecho!
PS. The last photo is from the Cenote down the road.

This GPS point is the best view into the 400 meter deep canyon. Maps.me doesnt show a road, but there is good asphalt. My fear of height was roaring here 😩😩.

Spent 2 nights here for a total of 100 pesos. Very nice family running the place . We felt safe and secure. if you arrive as we did at lunch hour, no one will be around, we just picked a spot (13 is quite level). Easy walking distance to centro and water purificadora. We did not inquire about washrooms as we have an onboard set up. We had our 2 dogs with us, no issues. There are quite a lot of dogs in the neighborhood but they quiet down by 10 or 11pm. the rooster next door doesn't seem to discriminate and crows at any hour.

Wild camping spot off highway 1, far enough not to be seen from the highway. An unmarked dirt track leads to the spot, I was able to get here with a 2wd low clearance van.

Highly recommended! Very well run. Clean bathrooms, hot showers, peaceful at night, nice garden areas to walk through; reliable wifi; quiet hotel & small onsite restaurant serves a good breakfast & dinner. Elwin, Fernando. and the rest of the staff were most welcoming and worked hard to see that all campers and hotel guests enjoyed their stays. To address earlier comment regarding music: restaurant plays low-volume, Bossanova and soft jazz through outdoor speakers between 6:00 - 9:30pm. we stayed at another campground in town; but Renecer is, by far, our favorite. Price: 18,000/adult, includes electricity.

Big Campground for 320 pesos per night (1vehicle and up to 4 people)

Here is no WiFi not cellphone network!

Nice owner with a small restaurant on side, a lot of shady places, bbq and toilet and shower! (Shower only in the evening!)

We have a big rig and had to take care of the trees on the road and the property! But it was possible...

I (a very picky user of public toilets) was surprised by cleanliness- even the toilets are quite old!
