matrimonial room with private bathroom for 30 sol. big and very clean. sécure parking with a gate for free. the lady is very Nice and give us a room at the 3rd floor, closed to a roof top with water for cooking.

only have a dinner here. it is 5sol pp and you get a big soup + a local meal (rice, beef...)+a mug of tea. good for the price.

a huge park at the beach with a restaurant.good for children.out of the city.

Drive direction to Cape Rodonit. About 500 meters before the gate to Cape Rodonit there is in a curve to the right a way that leads straight uphill (on maps.me direction parking lot). Follow this way and after about another 500 meters there is a track to the right. Follow this track and you will find an almost level lawn overlooking the ocean where at least 3 cars fit. The way is in some sections very steep and you need a 4x4! Beautiful spot but don't drive further down to the beach. There is no possibility to turn and tons of rubbish :-( 4G signal with telekom.

perfect place to stay with secure parking, but only for smaller rigs as our Defender. we payed 79$ for a suite. booked it last minute on booking.com. really worth the money. Beautiful room, roof terrace, very good breakfast includet and in the middle of the town. Recommandet!!!

Very nice spot close to the beach. Water and electricity everywhere but if you want sewer you have to camp next to the road. Clean bathrooms with hot showers. WiFi only at clubhouse and cell service is spotty. Paid Passport America rate $27 per night.

Great place to stay overnight. Super easy to access. Plenty of space even for bigger rigs. Only one other person here when I stayed and they were on the opposite side of the area. Great LTE service for AT&T not sure about Verizon.

Hotel offering camping facilities for overlanders with own equipment or will hire tent for you. 8000RWF per vehicle per night. Access to pool is charged extra. No breakfast. Use pool showers etc. Close to airport.

Camped in tent on tarmac car park. Very nice showers and ablutions. Very nice view of Luanda. Lots of people around, but also lots of security.

I asked for a bucket of water to clean my water reservoir before repairing a crack. They introduced me to the boat mechanic who provided a bucket of water and lent me a few tools too.

The car park now has 4 bars with a (fake) grass area. Very nice and relaxing with a good atmosphere. Not noisy compared to the nightclub. I met some lovely people here who have a keen interest in overlanding.

Might be useful to some: the Octopus marine shop (next to main entrance) sells epoxy glue, mosquito repellant wrist bands, distilled water, and a few other items.

Still open. Large variety of parts and some clothing such as helmets and gloves. They had small selection of tyres for dirt and adventure bikes.

This place is excellent value. It's a very clean hotel st back off the main road opposite a fuel station. We paid 110,000 PYG (about £13.50) for 2 people in a matrimonial room. This included free parking (ample room behind the building in their car park), breakfast, private bathroom with hot water and a mini bar (additional cost). They have a menu of food you can order from reception. WiFi was good and available throughout. Comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Swimming pool that looked clean. Amazing value for the money.

Same here. Said that it's forbidden to carry gasolina in containers inside of the car. Also he said he smells cocain in our car. Know your rights and don't pay them anything. They know exactly that they have no rights if you done nothing wrong. It's always worth a discussion even if you need time for this...

Super delicious cheese and milk products. Try the "Buena Vista". 200 g for about 25 bol. The restaurant is also excellent and the prices are moderate (menu del dia 70 bol). We asked if we can stay there overnight and the allowed it. Clean bathrooms. Please ask friendly and consume something if you consider to stay as well.

A must stop! Wayne is a great host and he just does everything to make you feel comfortable! They have tents to rent, a beautiful lawn to pitch your own, and there is also space for Cars! There is a really nice, big hottub and a cosy atmosphere! Def. stay here!

Prices have gone up since January, they are now 700 for the boat, no entrance fee for the parque.

Very interesting place, you can get a guided tour learning everything from trees you can eat to all types of fruit and herbs.

Nice waterfall, great pond, nice for a swim and picnic. You can park the car here.

Nice coffee shop with strong coffee and wifi. perfect if you have to work even though some websites like wetransfer are blocked. unfortuantely, wifi at safeway is super slow and won't connect with my laptop.

Plattform from where you get a peak in the worlds biggest mine (up to 1 km deep!). Some information to the mine and the Rio Tinto Company. Tours start all half hour, Costs US$ 5 per Person. Be aware that there is no shelter on the top plattform so in case it rains - you get soaked completly - as we did.

Très beau spot pour dormir un peu à l’écart de Jaco centre, mais à 15 minutes à pied par la plage. Tranquille et tu plus belle plage de sable qu’à Jaco centre. Juste à côté d’un Surf lesson et d’un petit parc pour enfant. Nous y avons passé quelques heures seulement avant de poursuivre vers le sud, mais suffisamment longtemps pour s’y sentir en sécurité pour un camping gratuit.

Closed for winter (until end of May) its a camping site.

The Bottle Shop (Botteleria) still open. We pay 2500 pesos for 20l of water, if you don't have the 20l recipient, you can leave a deposit of 4000 pesos and get back your money when leave the recipient. Also you can fill-up your beer storage!

We slept on the parking lot of the hotel. The owners were really nice. They let us use a private bathroom with hot shower and didn't charge us anything.

Unfortunately its closed for the season. We went to Hem Hermu and were able to park our campervan in the grassy field on their campsite. Not very even ground.
