tony-ontheroad | Beautiful place and right at the start of several tracks into the mountains. If you are only camping you don't need to register at the tourist office, only if you want to go inside the park you need to get the free permit a couple of km towards Bordzjomi.

arianna.meschia | Big gated compound with an on site supermarket, restaurant, mosque and a swimming pool. Currently the pool and supermarket don't seem to be functional. We got a very comfy double bed, TV, nice bathroom with hot shower, balcony with no breakfast at 1200 Sudanese pounds. We were able to exchange $ at a rate of 55 (not great) and pay with that. They gave us wifi but it didn't work. The restaurant has chicken or fish with rice and salad at 150 Sudanese pounds. They organised for a driver to take us to nearby Jebel Barkal to visit the Pyramids and ruins for 1200 return. They also helped with fuel. Really nice place and highly recommended! |

fernwehafrica | Great place with lots of different and well priced activities to learn about the San People. Can do anything from a 1 hour bush walk to a whole day experience. Well worth the money and it’s in support of the whole SAN community that still live here. Campsite there to for just N$50 pppn. |

travelove.org | An old school converted into accommodation. Our room had private bathroom and kitchen with 4 beds. Price was 1,2Mio (8€). Kitchen was not well equipped, so take your own utensils/food. No food served. No toilet paper, but hot shower, safe parking in the gated school yard, friendly people and peaceful sleep.

Ebi | We have a truck, so first I checked Steps at Livingstonia. This site is easy to reach, but not to compare with cool runnings. It was close, but the truck stands at cool runnings, which is cool. |

irgendwoimnirgendwo | fairly camper unfriendly location it seems. huge signs saying private property and camping forbidden in all sorts of languages. beach not that impressive either. |
Parking Praia Do Mos | 37.08667, -8.68853 | |
hairventures | Parking about 200 meters from the beach. GORGEOUS beach. White sand clear waters. Shallow though so it’s a windsurfing place. Near Alaçatı, there are loads of mini buses. It’s a big dirt lot with shade but you’d have to be small to get under the shade. Some trees as well. We paid 20 lira for the night, could be negotiable. Toilets and showers available. I imagine it’s rammed in the summer on weekends with people from Izmir. It’s not the nicest places but the location is fab. |

On recommande. Georges et Claude |

bradyanddanica | A free spot to spend the day in the creek and enjoy the scenery. This is where the locals hang out! Had a lovely time here, felt very welcome by the locals there with their families, and actually liked it more than Clarissa Falls. |

bradyanddanica | The entire Coastal Highway is a dirt road. It was very rough to navigate at times. Limited or no signal along the way. It is doable with a 2WD but I would avoid it if possible. Otherwise, proceed with caution. |

laurensvdgeer | Entered from Georgia into Armenia. Road on Georgian side is still pretty bad, on Armenian side it is ok.
On Armenian side they checked the car 2 times, only light check. And paying the tax in the office took 20 minutes. Around 18 euros 10.000DRAM Just outside the border you have to get the car insurance. 15 euros for a landcruiser. They only accept cash, doesnt matter if it is euros, dollar, lari or Dram, as long as they are fresh bills and no coins. No ATM at the border that we saw... We had just spend all our lari before we exited Georgia and only had big dollar bills. He returned some euros and DRAM combined which were converted in his advance. Difficult guy. |

campingoncloudnine | Very nice truck stop near Uralsk. With car wash, nice restaurant, small grocery store and even barber. We paid 500 tenge per night and you pay 500 extra for shower. Facilities are very clean and we had a quiet night. People were extremely friendly and there is one english speaking girl working here. |

t.hoesel | We were not able to find a way to the beach in this town. They build a lot of hotels and holiday apartments there so every road to the beach we took we always ended in front of a gate. |
