Café/restaurant located in left hand side right by the ramp for the ferry.
Arrived here around 5pm for 8pm ferry to Hornopiren. Cafe just about open but only serving drinks!! Whole load of people around in cars waiting for a ferry and they are closed!!!! Managed to buy a fruit juice and they had tea and coffee but that was it.

Very nice place to stay! We could camp on the parking lot of the lodge, which was perfect for us. Very clean toilets.

Owner is very friendly, we liked him. He also runs a restaurant, but we did not try, as we had dinner before arriving. Meals we saw looked delicious.

We ended up here after finding the BLM land nearby completely trashed and unsafe (mattresses, broken bottles, and a treacherous, steep gravel Pipeline Rd), we were pretty frustrated by the time we rolled up here. It was a great stay through bad weather, got sandwiched between 2 semis which protected us from the wind and we were able to use the bathrooms all night. Non-potable water spigot is bright blue and easy to find next to the parking lot. A cop was parked all morning, seemed to just be keeping an eye on things. Great spot for a 24hr stop.

we had a great time here! Chloe is super friendly and has a huge knowledge on the region, she gave us a lot of travel tips for the next countries. as previously mentioned, the bathroom is very clean, with a real shower (cold). we highly recommend staying here. cost: 3000cfa for camping in the garden (2 persons, 1 vehicule).

Stationnement en bout de route, aucun arbre, aucune intimité, ça ne vaut pas le coup de faire cette petite route etroite pour arriver sur ce site.

Might be the best value place you'll find in Rio Negro, one block from the main plaza. Decent size room with private bathroom and hot water from a central geyser for 40,000COP (one person, might be the same for two but I'm not sure). Good for bike travellers because hardly any stairs if you take a room on the first floor. Some simple common areas to sit in. There is a parquadero next door for those in camper vans but not sure how much extra it might be to park there. Location on GoogleMaps is slightly wrong, I've tried to give better coordinates.

As described below... Also has woven baskets for sale...looked to be good quality ones at a bit cheaper prices than in Maun. I talked with the owner and she says business is not so good post-covid and not many tourists stoping by. Wonder if AfroVille further up the road is taking her trade away? Please support local business if you can even if it's just a drink or two.

Now with coffee bar! It was a bit late in the day for coffee so did not try but the owner was enthusiastic to make me a coffee. Also said he had fuel available too, not sure of price.

Nice wild camp by the river...lots of shade at my spot..Price is still 250 Pula per person... cheapest in the area. Ablutions new and clean... Hans (not his real name!) is a local guide and was very helpful. Site faces due west and so wonderful sunset across the river.

Spent a windy night in this beautiful spot after driving ruta 41 from Los Antiguos. Best have a 4x4 when the roads are wet, accessible to all in dry conditions.

A bedroom view with the tallest building in the world, flamingoes and a beautiful skyline. We believe the sunsets can also be great.

Parque National Patagonia is a special place. The view from Doug Tompkins Mirador is worth it. We didn’t have 4x4, so we hiked up the road from camp. The road is just a gravel two track, with some nice views along the way. Super quiet with lots of birds and guanaco sitings. The real treat is at the mirador, and the loop hike that you can start from there. Wow! Also, if you have a clear night, the skies are truly unobstructed and the Milky Way is visible… there’s nothing nearby to create light pollution.

We stayed two nights. Kind of warm showers. Clean bathrooms. The parque facilities are top level. We filled with potable water when we left to drive through to the border with Argentina.

Beautiful mature desert environment. Only one other rig. Has water and sewer but neither are functional. Water pressure was so low we had to switch to our tank. Sewer hook up is the same size as our hose so there is no way to use it safely. Not going to hold it on there. We tried to talk to the owner about the issue but they said no one had problems. Which can’t be true. We paid $400 pesos. Lovely but dysfunctional campsite

Hay varios puntos a lo largo del río donde poder acampar y quedar oculto del camino. En algunas zonas hay plantas con espinas. Muy concurrido los fines de semana, al menos en verano.
En la semana es tranquilo.

An absolutely amazing 24 hours in this conservancy......it is pricey for non residents but we really enjoyed it so thought it was worth it. The success story of the rhinos alone is just fantastic and we saw at least 8 in their natural environment, even 1 came to our campsite in the morning! The Bush camping for us was a magical experience.

An alright spot, lots of litter and noise pollution from people shooting. Here on a weekend and it’s non stop all day, occasional explosions from tannerite targets as well. I’m in a pretty remote portion and there are still a good bit of people driving by. If the gunfire doesn’t bother you it’s not a bad spot close to town. Seemed to be some other full timers parked out here as well closer to the entrance.
I get 4 bars and LTE (Verizon) plays Spotify and videos slowly.

Just beautiful ! We arrived at 18:30 and no one was there. Very quiet. They say you're not allowed to park in the canyon but we do anyway. We just drove 50 meters in to be hidden from the road and protected from the wind. It was perfect. There are bins on site.
