The most idyllic camping spot we’ve stayed at in the last 2 years while traveling down from the USA. Highly recommend - especially if you catch good weather. Added a shot of the view and a shot of our hyggeligt campsite with some friends. There are several spots along the river here to spread out as there are a few campers coming through. Nonetheless, the campsite still felt private. The water is… refreshing. c; Enjoy!

Very nice Hostal outside of Pitalito. Smaller and larger rooms available at COP 79000 (€15) for two. Private room with bathroom ( shower cold) Very friendly people. Biljart and table tennis available. Swimming pool on the other side of the road, to be used for free by guests. Breakfast available but not included. Kitchen available or restaurant service on weekdays. We parked our bikes next to our room in the game hall. Really quiet place!

We slept two nights with no problems. During the night there was a little noise, but it soon stopped and the church bell rings every 15 minutes 😅. Bad public wifi. No toilets or water, but we think it's the safest place in town.

Stayed for two nights. Super close to the beach, covered spot to put our van with tent. Private sink, and clean showers \ toilets.

Whale watching tour booked from campsite was awesome, and half the price usually. Marvin was a super friendly host.

Still here and open! Really cute place. Apparently they also sell eggs and veggies and fruits.
Water is easily accessible right on the side of the road. We had no problems getting to it in our 26ft class c. Suggested donation is $0.50/gal, and they have a cash box or they also take Venmo, Bitcoin, or Dogecoin(??).
Water at our campground was shut off due to storm damage so we were happy to have this option.

Really nice place to sleep, friendly police man and super close to the city. Not a lot of sun for your solar panel, although might be possible to ask for a spot in the sun.

Good place for a night. You have to eat there, 2100 AR pp for a lot of delicious (but simple) foods and drink. The owner and her family live there. Very friendly

Agree with all of the original post, except we went in January so no sand flea issues at all, also the bioluminescence was INCREDIBLEEEEEEE (it appears as red algae during daylight). Got out and splashed and paddle boarded and it was magical! Could even seen the fish and rays glowing as they swam through the water! Also early morning paddle boarding had many dolphins around in the bay which was amazing! Anyways busy place but everyone was so so friendly and kind and a young adults we had a blast with everyone there. Amazing fresh seafood from vendors, enjoyed the restaurant food and wifi, bathrooms were a bit rough as stated but used to worse haha. Over all stayed multiple days and would def stay again! Was fun, beautiful, safe! No issues in our over-landing Toyota Tacoma with rooftop tent and lots of stuff unpacked everywhere all day/night etc!

Ojo!
Huge and excellent parking space for all kids of vehicles. 220w sockets and taps at most spots. Very kind owners, who jeep the bathrooms and showers very clean. They offer some frozen essentials, ice (cheaper than closeby supermarket) and laundry for an extra fee . We paid 130 R$ per night, including the sprinter van and the two of us.
IMPORTANT : log in directly from.google maps to find the right entrance, if from ioverlander, you a directed to a very narrow muddy dead end road 100 mts further on.

We had to stay at a spot before the bend because the road was closed just before this spot due to mudslides. Honestly there are plenty of pullouts along this road that would be suitable. Make sure you have a park pass or something. Really beautiful spot though, good hiking spots nearby.

7000 pp. Essential stayed in a parking lot. This is not really a campground, although you have access to facilities and electricity. Only stayed there because we did not want to drive after the star gazing show.

Came for one night, ended up staying for two weeks. It’s like a 5 star campground, really well taken care of and lovely showers/toilets etc. The town is still very local and then the strip by the beach has restaurants that cater to the big resorts. The beach nearby is stony but la lancha is only 10 mins drive away and my favourite beach. It is expensive but totally worth it in our opinion.

After being thrown from camp nearby which don’t accept campers anymore and have only cabanas I bump here by night and try this day campsite. They accept I overnight. I only paid 25000 cp for diner (fish and patacones). Staff very friendly. Very quiet and safe. No light in the camp but don’t worry about that. Only toilet outside. No other amenities. Highly recommended place with flat and very large Sandy area.

Beautiful camping outside Pichilemu. Nice and clean toilets and showers. Hot water btw. 09:00 - 17:00 (solar powered). Space for 4-5 camper vans as well as tents. The owner (Sebastian) is very helpful and speaks excellent English. We stayed here several nights, when wild camping spots got rare in high season. We liked the place a lot :)

The cleanest, best maintained, most organised camping ground we have stayed at since Reykjavik 5 years ago. No hand washing if clothes but they will use their washing machine at a good price. It's so good they have a no-noise policy at night. It's only a block to the bus station (no noise, but very convenient for early morning Torres del Paine departures). Very friendly and helpful.

Awesome spot, definitely recommend. We stayed there two nights, before and after the Marbel caves tour. Just a few minutes outside the village. Fresh water river, so we took a dip to freshen up (cold but clean).
