Wonderful RV park near Harrison, Jasper, Buffalo National River, Branson MO with full hookups! WFI, Laundry, Restrooms, Showers, Trash, Water, Septic, 30/50 AMP

This is a wild camp with gorgeous views over the cliff and town below. We were aiming for Pha Hua Nak Viewpoint but did not get there. Using Google satellite we followed a dirt path and found this spot. This is probably only 200 south of the official viewpoint, along the same ridge.
Note that the path is mostly dirt/small rocks. Easy for a 4wd. Could be hard when wet. No facilities, no dogs, no people, no roads, evening temperatures of 20 C in April! Nicer spot than the viewpoint/official camp although the official camp does have toilets.
Wild camping at its best.

We couldn’t get down to the lake side with our 2WD van. Drove up the hill and stayed between the trees. Quit night and beautiful view down to the lake and the mountains in the background.

Got us in for diesel diagnosis the same day we called. Large diesel pusher is exactly what they work on. Worked with our schedule and got us in for major engine work with no notice. All around amazing service and great pricing.

"Parco delle Cave di Marsala" - former quarries where tuff was obtained, commonly used in the region to build houses. A local attraction that can be visited. The place has gained a different face thanks to the enormous effort, passion and dedication of the owners Annymaria and Leonardo- they are wonderful people. Thanks to them, this place has not become yet another garbage dump.
The plan is to make it an agricampeggio area sosta camper - THE PLACE IS HUGE, you stay in the mine, there is already a picnic area AND YOU CAN STAY THERE for little fee - ask how much. There's a toilet and shower. If you ask they might prepare some local dish, very simple but tasty.

You will love it! So quiet, just a sky and stars above.
Do the tour with them (at 11 and 3.30 pm, 15 EUR), it's very interesting.

Amazing camping at the dunes. totally worth the $500 for two of us. spectacular views and lovely thatched area with a table and BBQ area with washing up sink. Sunset and sunrise just beautiful ❤️. We also saw some wildlife giraffe, oryx, springbok, eland and kudu. possibly heard some lions in the distance in the night? Definitely recommend this place.

Large parking place right next to the thermal park. Lot of flat place for all kind of vehicles. Suitable for short break or overnight.

Great spot. We arrived at 14h00 and parked the car next to a tree to have some shade. We saw a lot of locals on small motorbikes going back and forth (don't know where) but none bothered to talk to us so we were glad.

Beware all these spots where you have mountains around will get catabatic winds coming down the summits as soon as the sun sets so place your camp accordingly. Wind was 15kmh and was really welcomed during the night 😄

this is a great spot above the amalfi coast. 3 vans can park at this view point. there is also a very strong and fast wifi. to get here, you have to drive through a small village. your car should not be wider than a fiat ducato.

You can not camp overnight at any of the Coastal Trail parking lots in the Fort Bragg area. The police will kick you out.

Nobody has come to this side in 3 days.
All cows, horses and people usually pass by in the other side of the river. Great place after or before crossing the border.

We are a 4t vehicle a crossed the bridge without issues.

A convenient spot for an overnight. Permission was given at courthouse. The electric is off at the pedestal. Another rig pulled in at sundown. A quiet night.

they make omelette and sandwich. it is next to the road. the owner speaks a little bit of French

Daily different meals for 2 to 3 Dollar.

The lady who runs it now really tries to make it a nice litle spot.

Be careful in this area around the Fenda da Tundavala, especially when staying overnight. Armed robberies happened to overlanders lately in April 2024.

As described. Stayed overnight with no issues other than trash pickup at 5:30am. We appreciate the city allowing overnight parking here. Because of it we ate in the restaurants and enjoyed the town’s history, shops, museum, and hospitality. The park a few blocks to the south was great for walking the dog with trash cans for pet waste.
We encourage all using this spot to leave no trace and enjoy the area.

We spent a quiet night here. The place is very illuminated. No services. Nice and quiet beach

it's a very clean and quiet place to stay for the night. it is good size cement huttes. has private toilet with shower.

On Google it looks like this is solely a hostel but in fact it also has a small campground in amongst the vines behind the hostel. The shower has good hot water and pressure and there’s an outdoor sink for dishes. And there’s a small (clear even at this time of year) swimming pool.

100 baht per person. Very flat, large area for big rigs. Next to the dam. There are a few small food stalls which closed at 6pm. Squat toilets no shower. Poor data connection.

Such a nice place if you are looking for really good food in a really lovely and modern atmosphere. We were here twice and every meal we tried was just delicious! They have various small platers, game meals, ocean meals, pizza, burgers and nice salads. Do not miss going here :)

very nice and tidy place, near beach, friendly people, very cheap

It is very difficult to find a quiet spot in Copiapo when you are going to the San Francisco pass.
This place is at a dead end street between the back side of garages from houses. Sometimes you see someone enter his house trough the garage. Good area felt safe.
