Claudio is a very competent mechanic indeed with a clean and for Argentinian standards modern workshop. We went there because we had some recurring engine issues with our campervan, that didn’t seem to have been fixed by previous mechanics (even by the official Mercedes dealer in Mendoza). Claudio listened very carefully to us and was the first one to actual drive our van with us for a bit to see for himself what the issues were. He was very patient (especially since our Spanish sucks and everything had the be done via Google Translate), answered our many questions and gave detailed answers. After everything was tested and fixed, he drove the car with us again. He seems very reliable and honest and price seemed more than fair. Can only highly recommend. Advisable to phone or email the workshop beforehand to check whether they have time.

Gate is open as of April 17. Must be closed seasonally.

Good spot, close to the national park, we spelt here 2 nights and we didn't had any troubles ! We were alone.

Live music, typical Argentin. Lots of people singing with the songs. We really liked it and had an incredible night! Would really recommend to go and enjoy the argentin life!

Maybe I’m just a baby but this road was SCARY in a 2WD Promaster 2500. The road sometimes gets very narrow along the cliff and if anyone else would have been going the other way at that point, someone would have had to back up or down the mountain. Scary in a camper van. Road was rough, but doable if you’re super determined. I turned around at the trailhead halfway up because it wasn’t worth it to me to keep struggling the whole way up.

Very berry nice spot at the lake. Possible with bigger rigs , need some ground clearance!! But very nice , no crocodile just very friendly locals that come fishing , for the rest no one around!! Just before leaving main road there is a shop , nice people buy your stuff there they appreciate it a lot ! The whole neighbourhood wil welcome you !!

Amazing water but too much people even on tuesday night, bad music too loud and too much flies around 5pm so we left into land 3 min ahead and we had a quiet night.
This beach is empty first half of the day so could be nice if you want to have a bath in this beautiful water

security made the rounds telling everyone overnight parking is not allowed.

We cannot recommend this place. showers are cold and the staff isn't friendly. The first place we are not welcomed here. 200 for a person is too much when you arrive late just before they close because you cannot use the hot pools.

It is a Casa Particular that invites you to feel at home. It is located in the center and from the many balconies on two sides you can watch the hustle and bustle on the streets. The family is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is also inexpensive. The owner is a fair taxi driver. He will also take you to the airport, for example. The rooms are clean and well furnished. A good starting point for the city of Havana.

We enjoyed a great sunset. Easy accessible and doable to drive up on the beach with 2wd, just follow the trails. Don't take the path on the right side of the turmeric. We got stuck in the sand and were digging for 2 hr :)

The "bar-restaurant in front" : not clear which, an I was front of what.
Big parking area, according to locals totally safe at least during the week. Nice beach bars just next to it.
Garbage and neighbours , do expect some traffic.
Good Claro reception, no amenities .

Nice places along the river, accessible by a good track for all cars (a bit west of the place). Nice views, almost no trash.

It’s by the water and free, so perfect. The trains are loud but I don’t mind it.

Good customer service. Might be the only place in town to fill a propane tank, but I'm not totally sure of this.

The potable water comes from a red hydrant/faucet next to pump 22. It's not labeled, but it appears to be clean, potable water. It is very high pressure and it is free. The dump station is at the back of the station (south side), and is also free. It has a water tap for washing up spillage, but it says it is not potable.

Very quiet. Nice place. Lots of dead tree branches all around that can be burned. This whole area is loose sand and it can get deep, so be careful. I almost got stuck in my small RWD motorhome.

Still here, still open from 12:00-16:00. Indeed quite cheap local food- a nice little salad is 7 rubles, filet of chicken 30 rubles. Tasty and seemingly popular with locals although somewhat hard to find. It is across the street from the fountains, through the building with small shops, upstairs- across from the seamstresses (who are also very good- they fixed all the zippers on my purse for 50 rubles). Try to speak at least a little Russian- it won me a smile from the lady!

Khalid one of the watchman, allowed me to camp on the premises. I guess not possible at weekend (Fri/Sat) or holidays! Also as weather was not predictable...
As people were still around I waited until sunset to put up my tent.
as not prepared at all foodwise, Khalid invited me even for a delicious dinner.
I think for vehicles you can camp outside the fence;I am on motorbike.

And also you need control and push everything.
Difficult work like check turbo they can’t do.

But you can take a night on territory. But it was a disco nearby on Friday - very noisy.

We repaired breaking system here and made welding work.
But not good that they find a problem not right at first. And miss a real problem.
So on my opinion it is not the best but quite good if you have a paicient and can control.

Not good with diesel here. We use our canisters. On black market you can get 2 $ per litr.

Thanks guys, great spot. Maybe it is not a bad idea to go there only with your rig when it's dry otherwise we will easily ruin the narrow muddy farmers road. Also great place to pitch a tent. Only 1,4 km from main road. Mid April the spring was working. We enjoyed 2 very quiet nights.

One other trailer in back part of lot. Felt safe. Initially a lot of train noise but then just highway/traffic by wee hours. I stopped for a quick rest and would stay again.

very nice free hot springs. perfect in the evening. you can also sleep nearby, cause there are three big parking lots for around 50 cars. the springs are free but you have to give a small amount to the (not so friendly) man who works there.
the temperature is nice warm but it smells hard like sulfure.

The bathrooms are now OK. But he tried to charge me 2000 to camp with my tent. In the end I left it at 1000... Maybe still expensive for what it is but it complies.
