Great place right next to small river. Good spot between Nairobi and Mombasa. Unknowingly, located right next to Tsavo West National Park and some kind rangers came to visit in the morning to chat (no issues).
Directions: Take road that follows a fence line towards river/pin (doesn’t appear on T4A or IOverlander, instead of crossing river continue straight along walking track for 10m (with continues to follow the fence line). Note this track is tight and requires one person to push back bushes, etc, so not suitable for big rigs.

Slept here over night top floor of Walmart in the back bye the old macys in my sprinter camper van no problems.additionally I used to be the security guard here and we never tripped on rvs near Walmart.our main concern was theft at Walmart lol.

Best place to repair and wash your motorcycle!.. also has a nice and friendly restaurant upstairs with a great atmosphere for riders and travelers!

This is a big place and they are doing a lot of work on it to reconstruct the walls. This used to be an old city of the Wari, so it is very different from all of the Inca ruins in this area.

Wide, smooth, easy road in and out from highway 64 (do not come in from the other entrance).
My spot specifically is the best one IMO. If you can navigate a short mildly rutted area you get the whole forest to yourself. If you just wanna play it safe, plenty of options before this point.
I'm driving a class A 35' towing JLU. The ground here is perfect. Kinda rocky dirt so it takes a lot of traffic to rut, and you dont sink much at all (1/2" by day 4 and wet season). Dry season this would be like concrete.

Good spot to spend the day! Can’t sleep overnight here, but it has great Verizon service (4g, full bars) if you need a spot to post up to work

This place is beautiful! Several spots along the river. We parked along the river! I could stay here forever.

We stayed in the brasserie for almost six days. We were warmly welcomed by Thierry because Pascal was in France. We were allowed to stand in the parking lot for free and were pampered by the restaurant. The food is very good. The whole team is enormously friendly and overlanders are really welcome here. Thierry in particular has always helped us a lot in all areas. We really felt like we were on vacation here. Very clear recommendation.

Very nice camping on green grass. Even a little shop with basics. no wifi at campsite. wifi at farm 2 km from campsite. no mobile signal.

Now they ask for 4000 ARS for the night.

WiFi not so great but there is good cell phone reception.

perfection imo. sun for solar, basic signal VZW, good starlink, views, great for off leash, pretty level, close to entrance and gas station, roads are awesome, central. as good as it gets.

this is ok for a group spot but if someone else tried to park here I would ask them to leave.. it's not THAT big.
