They replaced the clutch on my Hilux for 6000 Lira/173€ for the Labour, and 7350 Lira/ 212€ for the Aisin parts. No English, but Google Translate worked out. I would say it's an average turkish workshop. I had to insist using a torque wrench and they forgot to mark the prop shaft...

Nice spot for a night! There was a big rainstorm and a lot of places were flooded but this one is high on a hill. No issues, great views, a few people walking by in the morning but they leave you alone.

Good water source…..look to the very far left of the ShopRite complex. Very high pressure (filled our 20L bag in <5 seconds). Water is clear and no smell. Locals were also using g it to clean shoes etc.

Abu Dalaf spiral minaret. smaller than the one in Samarra but open and for free. you can go up to the top if you are not too scared of hights. it would be an amazing place to camp at as well. only tourists with their drivers come here and you are not visible from the road there. lots of flat ground around to choose from for a camping spot. we wanted to continue so we just had picnic here.

great spot for camping. the best place in federal iraq after the Marshes for me. amazing minaret... see the photo icon :) 4g with zain, possible to find shade and wind shelter as well

checkpoint where they turn you around and you have to take the next bridge directly to the spiral mosque

the road is permanently closed here because of military station. to go to ur ypu have to go through Nasyriah

this is is great gravel parking lot near a sanctuary. nothing special, but quiet at night. there is a chain in front, but it is open all the time

Copy shop in the small building, opposite the banks. They want 1000 IRD per colour copy.

Basic hotel - AC, hot water, reasonably clean. Secure gated parking for motorcycles. Restaurant on-site. I paid 1200 INR.
Good enough for a night.

Parking near bridges in front of Remro Park. Busy in the evening, otherwise quiet. Good walking possibilities in the park, on the promenade and over the "Brooklyn Bridge" to another park and Luna Park Keremet for kids. Inside Remro Park toilets and running water in the sink (not so nice, but for emergency).

The place is temporarily closed. Ought to be open in about 2-3 months.

Very beautiful hostel with river view.

Beautiful rooms : 25000 CFA for a A/C room for 2 persons.

We slept in our 4x4 for 3000 CFA with shower and toilet access.

Nice small Cafè, close to the Hospital.
Good Coffee and a small range on Sandwiches, cup cakes and other sweet things.
Cold Drinks are avaible, too.
You can sit inside and outside.

Nice small, flat place, sheltered from the wind and from view. Space for several vans.

From this police check point we were provided with a police escort. They asked for copies of visas and suggested we should have at least six copies for the trip to Chilas.

This place is still open and apparently still for sale.

Gated and fenced. Very secure. From the campground you can see and hear the ocean. A nice beach to walk with a lot of shorebirds. We were here offseason so not many people around.

The place is very clean. The shower on the mens side is warm…certainly not hot. Many clean tables under cover to eat. There is a kitchen but things seem not to work.

Plenty of flat parking and covered areas for tents. No height issues on entry.

The overall impression is that it is being kept up but little else with the hope that someone will come along and buy it.

We paid $55r “each” which included the Land Cruiser. Stayed one night.

Beautiful place to camp or spend the day. Riverside, trees protecting from the wind. It has fire pits. Ducks, capybaras, a cow and a friendly dog were our company for the day and night. And most of all: Clean (please keep it like that)

Very nice apartment in Lago Posadas. We stayed here for 25'000 per night (25April 24), which was a super nice change for once as we are traveling with a van. The apartment has a small kitchen (no stove, but microwave, fridge, water boiler, cups etc), double bed, additional bed folded to a couch, table with 4 chairs, bathroom with nice hot shower, heater. The owner lives around the corner, just ring the bell. Can recommend, we had a really comfortable night here.

As described below except I will add that the park is 100 yards from a very busy highway. Heavy truck traffic all night long. I would not stay here again. $20 with hook ups, $10 without. Self pay kiosk.

You can have room in Alexandre house, he lives with his wife and 2 kids, simple room, shared bathroom, a big garden to park if you have motorcycle I liked the location and they are nice family speaking English !

potable water is not easy to find in North of La Pampa and South of San Luis. All San Luis toll bring hot and cold fresh water and clean toilet service for free.
we camp here because is more quite than a gas station during the night.

This is a gorgeous, peaceful and quiet spot under the live oaks and pines! No amenities of any kind, but open feel on the sandy dry soil. Not suitable for RVs or big or tall rigs as there are many low overhanging branches. Lots of different spots to pull over at. If you're staying around the "main" trails, any car can get there, otherwise a bit of clearance could be helpful. Good cell service.

Spent a quiet night in my van, a neighbour just came check in who I was. Beautiful place, next to a campsite and shops.

We just stopped here for a lunch, but it was quite busy…many people passing in foot and moto. All friendly, some asking for money/food.
