Dormimos uma noite aqui, ninguém nos incomodou, o único ponto negativo é o lixo! Infelizmente tem muito lixo espalhado pelo lugar o que é uma pena pois o lugar é extremamente lindo. Também não pega sinal de telefone

We slept one night here, no one bothered us, the only negative point is the garbage! Unfortunately there is a lot of garbage scattered around the place, which is a shame because the place is extremely beautiful. It also doesn't get a phone signal

To get to park by the lake, better use the furthest path (close to the hills) passing the small building and blue dumpsters. The first ones seem too sandy at some point to pass with our 24ft motorhome.

We arrived past 6pm and the entrance booth was closed but in the machine next to it we bought the entrance ticket and also the interagency pass (America the beautiful) that we wanted to buy for other places.

Dump station and potable water ok!

Small parking lot at a suburban trailhead. No facilities. No prohibiting signs, but you still get the feeling that a bit of stealth is best in this location; I'd say best for vans or small stealthy C's. Peaceful area overnight; some traffic during the day from locals coming to walk the lovel trail alongside the lake. Some evening mosquitos. Good Verizon signal. Scattered trees around but good Starlink once obstructions are mapped. We in our Ekko were able to stay two nights and spent the day here working.

The best restaurant if all Costa Rica with very fair Price.
Everything is home made even the bread for hamburger.
All thé team is very welcoming and nice.
They let us use shower.
They also offer bioluminescence tour.

Lugar cómodo y seguro para pasar unas noches. Los guardaparques fueron muy amables, incluso nos prestaron los baños y ducha. Está bastante cerca de caracas centro para moverse en vehículo. El acceso es un poco inclinado pero nuestra combi subió perfectamente.

Confortable and safe place. Guardaparques where kind with us and even let us use bathrooms and shower. It is close to the center of caracas if you go on your vehicle. The acces is steep but our kombi did It without any problem.

Súper tranquilo, poco ruido y seguro. Dimos aviso en la entrada de supermercado por las dudas, solo nos pidieron no alejáramos un poco de la entrada principal.

Stayed below in the "gravel pit" for privacy. However, I did venture onto the road that goes east from the pit to look for pull-outs, fire rings, etc. There are none, just one long gravelly road with berms on either side. Best to stay upfront.

Lugar oculto al lado del camino, a mitad de la loma, llegue en bicicleta, hay leña (usen cortafuegos), lleven su basura.

This week I checked in the Morshedi Hotel and got a room. The room was rather small and was a kind of a basement room, where from the inner garden floor you have to go some steps down into the room.
Unfortunately the price is not EUR 30 anymore. I paid EUR 47.
There was another Boutique Hotel in Kashan which asked around EUR 58, which I declined. For the same price in Sanandaj there was a really 4-Star Luxury Hotel but then it was fully booked. I would had paid the money then as it was already late and started to freeze.
So the prices (Hotels) in Kashan are very high, too high, unreasonably- and the city itself was not so attractiv to me. But I did not want to ride very long distances in a day.

The staff were friendly, the room clean but small. Wifi ok.

Should you arrive in the afternoon, take the possibility and go to the hotel¨s restaurant. I thought to see some other places and went out - but in the afternoon a lot of shops were closed - and I did not find a "restaurant" to eat. Then after eating 5 Bananas - I discovered 1-2 but they did not have any tables in it. They got only large couches, in which you can eat in the yoga position.

Huge free county park. 5,000 acres, 20 miles of paved trails, 13 miles of singletrack trails, 12 miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, water, wifi in chalet parking lot, and lots more.

Very nice spot on the beach. We ended up here after releasing the turtles because the road to the Mirador is in a really bad condition. There were a few locals there who said hello, but no one turned us away or said it was unsafe. No police came either. We had a quiet night. Please don't leave any rubbish there because the turtles also lay their eggs on this beach.

Good place to stay. 400 som for sleeping in the car and 200 for a very good buffette breakfast. You can use shower and toilet.
Great garden to sit and Park the car.
Also you can leave your car for months here, only 100 soms per day.

Very swift and friendly immigration check. Officers had a good chat with us whilst taking our details - we were there for maybe 20 minutes and they also allowed us to take some of their water to use in our filter.
We camped, on their suggestion, just by the border post. They are very happy for you to do this either directly outside immigration or in the no-mans land just past the post.

Officer stopped to ask if we had vaccinations. I said yes and said yellow vaccine and so he waved us through! No need to stop for more than 1 minute

relatively easy border post (bots to zim), zim takes a bit of time for family of 4 and 1 car about 1.5hr . bots went easy. visa single entry 30 us, double entry 45 for B listed countries (europe eg). stamped Carnet de passage went ok, paid 50 us for insurance carbon and road. be sure to carry enough cash. change can be a hassle. no cards! no questions or checks anymore about covid. also, we extra carried petrol in the car in jerrycans, no questions were asked.

I just went there for WiFi but the employee didn't know the passwort, but they have excellent Cappuccino for 60 Toman (0,9€)

I cycled it coming from alamut.
Gravel starts at 2700m to 1400m Tonekabon site. 6 km on the top were muddy but no problem for bicycle. 2WD could struggle at this point. from 1800m to 2700m the road is really steep most of the time 13%, with good legs you can gain elevation fast. In the village on 2700 you can sleep. The pass opens in beginning of may and closes end of Oktober, but with bicycle probably longer doable. there was not much snow anymore beside the road.

We stayed for 4 peaceful nights in this square which is very close to the historic center of Diamantina, a flat place and in front of CAPS Renascer, very kind staff.

ATM here with USD. I&M bank in Sarit Centre Mall has 3 ATMs with KES and one has USD with $100 bills. $2000 max withdrawal. No atms fee for my U.S. visa atm card.

Great spot to camp! Incredible views, no other campers or people near us the entire night. wind died down around 10pm. crosstrek handled the road in dry conditions easily. coming from horseshoe bend, turn left at the mentioned highway intersection and take the first right as someone said, there's a few spots off the dirt/rock road.

We entered and did not have any passport copies but did have the visa printed in the passport. He asked for a copy and was perhaps disappointed we didn't have one as he then just wrote our details down from both passports.
Not super friendly but not hostile either - as before, no entry stamp but whole process was under 10 minutes

If you need to perfectly get your big rig cleaned before shipping, this is a great place for it. We paid 100K for a complete and perfect wash inside and outside of our 7T camper. The truck wash is between the truck parking and the petrol station. People were super friendly. Any rig will fit here!

Beautiful hiking car park in the middle of nature. The road is steep and full of potholes. The hiking trails are beautiful! Pit toilet available.

We stayed for one night and it was absolutely quiet.

several other camping spots along this road but this one is the closest to normal dispersed camping. the others were basically just big parking lots, this one has more of a network of parking spots and trees to hide behind for more privacy. a little rough getting through some spots with a Prius but worth the effort.

Another tip: they offer a hotspot option 4 Euro for 50GB but it can only be used as hotspot. So get an old phone activate hotspot for your other phone!

Now it's 1900 pesos per kilo. Good service!

Established campground in Pear Farm. Very pleasant surroundings in quiet area. Caroliene, the owner is very helpful.

up to 3 days, just by the creek. flat with 2 fire rings made of rocks. a little bit of garbage.

Great park. Side street good for longer rigs. Pretty quiet. Off from main streets. Foot traffic on weekends.
