Made the tour for two people as part of a round trip. Our guide made the agreement and afterwards we paid 20k for the two of us (Boat with local guide and tasting of palm wine and handcraft show). The the only answer was that Benin is expensive. Now I knew iOverlander. Think that this will help us to save some money, thanks!

Established campground, but from October to May 15 the campground has no services and is free for winter camping. The lake is gorgeous and on a beautiful weekend in May the campground is almost full and the sites are close together. Don’t miss the Lussier Hot Springs! Wonderful, rustic, natural hot spring that feels real. On the river, with three pools of different temperatures.

Now, we are traveling around South America about 15 months and we can say Lavanderia Suiza were one of the nicest hosts we have been. Ruedi's bakery bakes the best bread yet and Miriam does laundry for you. The conversations with them were interesting and surprising at the same time. We would have loved to stay longer. Thank you for everything.

It’s just a huge levelled pullout above Rio Intag besides the street shortly after a small settlement coming from the south. No infrastructure, a nice view towards the river and no traffic during the night. Cows in the morning.

On our way from Mindo to Otavalo we turned left at Nanegalito and took the smaller roads. Until Nanegalo the road is narrow but paved and in good condition. Then follows a ~ 55 km long stretch of unpaved road with potholes but often beautiful views. After crossing Rio Pamplona we turned left and immediately crossed Rio Intag. The whole stretch of unpaved road took us nearly 3 hours. There aren’t many options to spend the night along that narrow road. We were glad to find this spot.

Lovely and clean place, great hot shower. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but it looked good. Beach only a few minutes on foot. Sabine speaks german and english and is very kind.

Gravel lot on the side of a small road. Near the lake. No amenities, but good cell reception. Haven’t tried but guess it would be a good spot

Stayed three nights in our Ekko (class "B+" style motorhome). Did not check in or anything. There were a number of other RVs of widely varying types, from vans to big class A's, to trailers of varying sizes, mostly congregating toward the SW corner of the southern lot. The lot is well lit, not exactly quiet—it's a casino after all—but clean and safe. Potable water and sewer dump a block to the south at the Chevron station. This place is a real gem, and it's otherwise difficult to find good places to stay near Spokane. Please be respectful, keep the lot clean, and patronize the businesses to thank them.

Campground down the road was full, so we opted to try this Boondocking spot. Spacious pull out. Lovely creek views & bubbling audio, although hard to get down to creek. Road is busy with bikes and convertibles enjoying the cool air and twisty roads. Traffic will slow down at night. Some houses nearby so keep this clean & be respectful.

Good recommandation ! We found a nice place a little after this spot. You are far enough from the highway. Several spot along this road, but first ones are closer to the highway.

lots of building work going on so not the quietest of places and somewhat tired in areas but a good place to meet other overlanders and has secure parking for motorbikes and push bikes, certainly not the quietest night sleep though

He received us very kindly, we spent 3 nights 50 meters from his house since our vehicle could not enter due to height. He made us feel at home, and we had very informative and enjoyable talks, we believe that it is a must when one arrives in Nasca.

Nice little laundromat. Clean and has an attendant on site. Washer is $3.50. There’s a liquor store right next-door and a grocery store on the other side. Plenty of parking in front of the laundromat or you could park next-door at the Garden Farms Market.

I pulled in really late after being stuck in traffic (approximately 1:00 am). There were a few other vans and campers in the lot. The area felt safe, and I got a good nights sleep. The only downside was that the lot is adjacent to the highway, and some of the trucks were rather loud.

Stopped here for lunch and scouting for a beach side spot. Great place , but wind was blowing so decided to drive on to next beach (2km) which can be done by a car not over 2.10 wide.

lots of space, but locals coming and going all night. seemed to be the place to hang out after the bars closed. shouting, banging things, car horns, music, general drunken noises until 3:30am. I was there on a Friday, maybe it would be quieter on a different day. note if you're in a tent, the lights all turn on at sundown, and they are very bright.

Slept here in the car for one night. Except for one family that walked across the lot, we heard and saw nobody else. Very pleasant! Otherwise concur with what everybody else mentioned :).

Great to be back after 10 years. Absolutely love this place as it feels like a home away from home and we always meet such a great mix of travelers. Will hopefully visit again, just not in another 10 years!

Wouldn't recommend.
Almost no english and I paid way too much for nothing. Wanted a sim card with 10gb and got a sim card with 2,5GB for 20.000.
Just buy a sim card and some credit at a different store.

Campgrounds were full, great spot to stay outside the park if you're self sufficient and get up early to head out hiking. Some mobile service and some traffic noise which stops when gates close. Joined by a couple other overnighters.

We came up from SADLC. The part in the mountain was quite easy driving. But in the long valley (low lands) the track was very rough. Some dry streams made short hard ramps, we had ground contact … Be aware of your slope angle! Not so perfect for longer vehicles.
