A place to stay on a dry grass. Others motorhome. No possible to have water because it was destroyed. Maybe they will repair it. We don’t feel very safe because many drugs people walking here all the day. We didn’t feel safe to go outside a night time. Also one woman drugged came several times to speak to us for food, money…better to join with others campers. So we wanted to stay 2 nights. But we left after one night. A good since there is some guards come here during the day. Also at night. But they don’t stay all the time. Nothing happens when we go to city centre about 3 hours in afternoon and night was ok. But it seems this people never sleep, discussing all night.

Very nice campground. Stop at the Lions Park in Chester, free dump and water. Then camp here overnight. Leave a donation and clean up after yourself. Small beach, kids swimming. No hook ups, but toilet and picnic tables.

Nice and safe and quiet. Toilets clean and working. Shower also and wirh warm water. It is directly at the river. Very nice scenery. Lady who is working at the campground also lives there. She opens when you arrive and explaines everything. It is clearly a recommendation from our side.

Kind of a ghost town during the week. Most gates were locked; we turned down Harrison St and found an open gate. We immediately started seeing the campsites with power pedestals. Saw some parked cars which led us to the office. Still no humans.

A small file held camping papers, envelopes and pens. We tested the power first and sure enough, it worked. Found a beautiful spot under two trees. Went back and paid our $30. What a deal. T-mobile signal 4bars. Quiet night

Nice riverside campsites. Primitive and clean, free wood to burn in season. Train across the river came by a couple of times in the daytime but took a break during the night. Very nice stay for us. 1 bar ATT

This open site is just off Loon Lake Road. There is enough space for a dozen of campers. I wouldn’t drive down (left) to the gravel pit as there is plenty of space available straight ahead on the upper section. The ground is level and a mix of sand and small sized gravel and there are several rock fire pits scattered in the area. Starlink works flawlessly since there are no tall trees but I only got one bar on cell phone.

really nice rest area on both sides. No cell service from any carriers at either location that I could locate with hotspot. however both locations have a water spigot on the front of the building for filling water cans. what a great resource! it has been many many miles since I've seen a rest area with water available. Even if you don't stop for the night due to lack of cell service stop here and get water.

Great place to stay! Easy to get into, there were big enough spots for rv’s and larger campers. Plenty of fire pits made. VERY close to Grand Canyon entrance. With Verizon I had 1-2 bars service.

Spent 3 nights here, no problem, multiple campers.

It's pretty quiet but a very popular spot at all hours. Mostly ppl just chilling in their cars.

It seems safe enough but I took a long walk the last day & it def got sketchy a block or 2 away.

Kind of level spots, good signal (att&tmobile), trash cans, & a lovely view.

It seems to be perpetually fall in Eureka tho so bundle up. It stayed in the low 50s the whole time...in June.

Flat àrea with easy access from the road. Quite bumpy and dirty, but we could easily level our van. There is plenty of space also for big rigs. No noise except the river😉

To camp on the sand you’ll need an orange flag and an ATV permit. You can buy the flag at the grocery store at the corner of Sandlake and Galloway on the way in. They also helped me get the permit online and print it, only $10 valid for 2 years. To camp on the beach the fee is $5 a night. The sand is soft and my Sprinter is 2WD so I didn’t attempt it. You can definitely do it if you have 4WD.

7m rv got breaks jam in the main blvd, called Pepe and offered to come to assist for $800mx but also gave a few tips on the phone and I got it moving enough to reach his shop w\o paying that service.
Nice guy, mechnical engineer, not the cheapest but sure good quality work and his workers are very knowledgeable as well in all kinds of cars small
And big. Spend half the day there and left with the problem solved for 800mx + parts. Change of pistons inside the calipers(rusted).

This place was beautiful - easy to get to, nice and quiet. Like others said google maps will try to have you drive down in the wash, just keep following the road. Lots of different spots on both sides some with fire pits.

stayed here for a night in a pinch because the park campground didn’t have showers. $33 for one night. had to leave $1 tip for local advice which i thought was tacky, showers were dirty & full of spiders. $2 for 3 minutes for the shower, which is ridiculous. one stall in each bathroom. need a key to get into the bathrooms & showers & you get one per spot. would only stay here in a pinch if you have to

Pigeon Forge Cracker Barrel, pretty large parking lot. Got very quiet later in the night. Parking lot sits right below King Kong, got a great view of his ass 🥴
Make sure to get dinner or breakfast, and clean up any trash you see in the parking lot.

Still $20 cash, Canadian for a tent, 1 person on a motorcycle. Plenty of space, camping at the far end of the RV park, some shade- owner clearly a Trump fan, but don’t let that put you off. Clean toilets, shower and laundry facilities. Restaurant on site, very reasonable prices. Good place to stay for a night.
