Unluckily we didn‘t find this place. So we had to search a place near the city center on Saturday. See our pin there.

A quiet, modern and youthful place where you can wash and dry your clothes, drink a coffee, read a book and eat a sandwich or work. There is Wifi, WC/Toilet and free parking outside for your car or bicycle.

Still valid and open.
Free potable water fill with Discover Pass. I did not utilize the actual dump; I’m unsure if there is a fee.

Gravel turnout to west at south end of bridge. A couple informal camp spots. One for RV and one down mear the creek for a tent. fishing for grayling. No amenities. Att cell service.

Dormimos una noche con nuestra casilla sin problemas y seguros.
Preguntamos al playero de la YPF y nos dijo que no había ningún problema, que estacionamos al lado de los camiones.
La playa de estacionamiento está pegada a la autopista, por lo que es bastante ruidoso durante toda la noche.
Los baños están bastante nuevos, pero no eran lo más limpios, y había olor.

Double room for 40 soles (20 p.p) with shared bathroom (private would be 60). Breakfast is 8 soles p.p (didn’t take it). Good WiFi, big bedroom, good bed and they give you towels. Also, nice place to put your bike.

Nice and quiet spot in a little turn around. There is a porta potty here. Its quiet and peaceful. Plenty of shade. The road in was a bit sandy but i had no problems in 2wd.

Land Rover specialist mechanic every year. Reliable and fast service.

It doesn’t look like a shop from the outside, but if you knock on the green door they might open it. Well stocked store, no other stores in the area.

Pascal is a very nice and easy going host. Camping for free, including using shower and toilet. Not even demanding to eat in the restaurant (good food). Nice place right on the beach.

Car park next to willow park.

No ‘no overnight’ signs. Peaceful and quiet. Plenty other campers vans. Please don’t ruin this spot. Likely won’t work for anything bigger than a class b

Very good bio quality food in self service. It is a brand.

This place is in the wrong location or permanently closed. Tried to find it but all the beaches are fenced.

Location of the bar is nice, beach side, but we didn't get great vibes from the place. Also they did not have many food options (in low season) only chicken and chips and vegatarian option was salad and chips. We only stayed about 10 minutes and left

Amazing brand of supermarket where you can find product like good sushis, pizza, croissant, veggies, cheese. And European articles. This brand is only in Brasilia city

wow wish I had found this last night I definitely would have stayed here. more then enough room for multiple tents. nobody here. no signs at all. there's a great spot right by the edge for a tent. road coming in was a tiny bit bumpy but if you watch for the ruts I think any vehicle including cars will make it

This drive between Puno and the Chilean border is so beautiful. I highly recommend it.

This shower was open and working today. It seemed clean. Used .75 to have a good shower. It was hot. There are a couple spiders in the changing room... other than that, no complaints. Would use again.

Nice campground, good laundry facilities (2 washers, 2 dryers). Right by train tracks, so lots of train noise at all hours. Full hookups including tax $68.25 per night. Very slow Wifi.

Amazing pasties de nata like Portugal. 6 for 50. Expensive but really nice

National Park Service campground with 50 spots, no hookups but nice views of Blue Mesa Reservoir. $20/day and all spots have a table, fire pit and asphalt parking area. Not many trees so my Starlink works perfectly thanks to my solar panels and inverter. I’m one of 3 campers here on a Saturday. Clean pit toilets, a fish cleaning station and almost no road noise. Gets very windy in the afternoon.

A rua onde é proibido estacionar é a rua principal perto do Rio, estacionamos na praça bem perto e foi super tranquilo. Mais dois Motorhomes chegaram mais tarde e ficamos todos aqui sem problemas. Estamos muito perto do centro e a cidade é muito bonita. No centro tem um banheiro público onde pagamos R$ 1,00 para usar o banheiro e R$ 5,00 para tomar banho com água quente, muito bom!

The street where parking is prohibited is the main street near Rio, we parked in the square very close by and it was super quiet. Two more Motorhomes arrived later and we were all parked here without any problems. We are very close to the center and the city is very beautiful. In the center there is a public bathroom where we pay R$1.00 to use the bathroom and R$5.00 to take a shower with hot water, very good!

A big free unpaved parking lot. Not perfect flat but lots of possibilities to find a spot that fits to stay. Also lot of space for big rigs. At daytime of weekends much used by locals who come here for hiking and running in the beautiful near forest.

Nice campground, near lots of trails, roomy sites with privacy. Free firewood and free hot showers. Wifi OK. Full hookups including tax $47.25 per night. Sani-dump available.
