Stunning camp site! Agree with all the above. Hot showers and clean’n tidy ablutions. Ask for SADC rates if you can. Reduces the price substantially!
Water and braai place at campsite around trees. Just bring your own wood for the fire at night or be in your tent at nightfall. We were warned by other travelers we had met before and stocked up, as the staff/xomae grp seemed to be more interested in banter and their cellphones than providing unsuspecting & happy to pay guests with fire wood. They had run out of fire wood. Alternatively ask and purchase fire wood at the other camp sites or scrounge for some in the bush nearby.

first off, this little park is beautiful. well-maintained, clean and private camping areas, porta potties for campsites not close to main bath house. every other park I've tried to get into lately (or even motels that I've tried to call) have been booked - or charging outrageous prices (I'm talking $320/night for a motel 8)

so grateful to find this campsite, almost completely empty! a few big rigs in the first few spots. I stopped at the stop sign when entering and made eye contact with the guy standing outside, but he never approached my vehicle, didn't ask for payment of any kind. not sure if he was a camper or staff member - hard to tell.

shower is decent - not as good as what you'll find at a flying J, but it's FREE and you get hot water for at least 15 mins. water does puddle up at the bottom, def bring your shower shoes for this one. regardless I was very appreciative and hoping to stay a few nights here!

Filthy garbage left by campers. So now no one is allowed. Designated as National Park. Enforcement beginning now. Campers are being fined.
Do not try to camp here.

Lovely spot right on the rim but a decent distance from rim road. Great views. Fire ring. Bumpy road in but not too bad. Our pickup plus a truck camper had no issues. I don’t think there’d be much room for a trailer to turn around but maybe? I had T Mobile service.

Great spot to camp for a night or two. recommend utilizing a spot further back from the road. no one bothered me and there were a few fellow campers. bathrooms get cleaned between 7-8am I found.

Really nice and almost quiet spot. Road is close but not so many cars pass by and the river sounds almost cancels it out.

We stayed two nights since we liked is so much.

Threaded water faucet available, trash cans, bathrooms, possibly an RV dump station according to one sign. As others have said, there’s a sign saying no overnight parking…but there’s another that says you are allowed to stay 8 hours in a 24 hour period.

Beautiful free campsite with around 10 paved spots. None are level and can accommodate small rigs as well as some TT. was here today and the ticks are out of control this time of year. within 4 hours I pulled 5 small ticks off of me within the campsite I was at. this is the 1st time I've had an issue with ticks at this spot. I had 2 fall out of the tree above me and land on me. I'll be back for sure but not until a cold snap kills all these ticks that are here now.

Great site near ferry landing
Huge trees, several beach trails. Only six or so sites, so get here early. Mid-June now, betting spots are rare in season. Well worth the $$.

Fantastic place to stay! Just go to security and get a free hang tag for your car, no questions asked for overnight parking. It was super clean, safe, a few other car campers around. The casino is open 24/7, they have a free soft drink/coffee station, toilets are very clean, staff are super friendly. If you sign up for their rewards you get some free money to use in the slots too! This was wayyy nicer than car camping in Spokane, did not feel too safe there with all the crackheads around.

Great place, view of Erciyes, clean and friendly shepards with big Kangals. what more do you want for your wildcamping adventure?! Also good reception. Lifos restaurant is close (and really good). patches of grass are good for tents, try to bring firewood.

Camping as described by other comments. We paid K140pppn. The ablution has a hot water issue though or no water rather. Bummer. We had a restful night though.
