The only shop in town where I was able to find a rear tire to fit a large ADV motorcycle.

Huancayo doesn't have many options for parts for big adventure bikes. This shop had a Timsun 150/70-17 in stock. You almost certainly won't find any name brand tires in Huancayo.

The mechanics did a good job installing the tire. They were also able to source Chinese brand brake pads for me.

Very reasonable price for everything.

Wanted to stay here for a a couple nights, but when we arrived there was 1 vacant camper and one large RV that had numerous dogs that immediately started barking as we pulled up. The large RV looked as though they had been there a long while. Decided not to stay and went on down the road.

on your right if riding towards La Paz a block of rooms. Think its new. no curtains. no towels provided, nor wifi, concrete floor. However it's clean, smart looking bathroom. our cheapest hotel of our 3 year trip so far. 30 bols for 2 people. our cycles are under a covered area. Definitely paid a lot more for a lot less!

Calme, peu de bruits de circulation et pas trop occupé mais des travaux dans le secteur (pas directement à côté) qui commencent tôt le matin... Bonne réception wifi proche du bâtiment, toilettes fermées de 20h à 8h...

Nice place near Highway, 2 firepits, no cell but clear sky for Starlink. Could be ok for big rigs, fine for us with pickup trucks and roof tent !
No direct view from road, not so much road noises
Just spent 1 night hear because other spots were busy !

We stayed a little further up the road from this marker. One other person stayed nearby, but it was a very quiet night. Very close to the park. A few potholes, but overall a pretty smooth road. Our 22ft sprinter had no issues. Would stay here again. No service.

I did a bad thing ☹️. Stayed here for one night. Got there right before sunset and it was glorious! I took the left fork at the entrance and went to the 3rd or 4th clearing. Small little outcrop perfect for me and the car. The mosquitoes became ridiculous and I escaped back to the car. Oof, I had stepped in poop and not only was it on my sandal but now it was on my floor mat. I tossed the shoes and mat out to deal with in the morning. Woke up early and the ‘squitoes were still insane so I started the car and headed out. I was about 100km away before I realized I had left my stuff behind. My sincere apologies for breaking the code. 🥺

This campground is Nice! Many spots on the lake, and many pull through spots to accommodate large RVs. There are 100 camp spots at this campground. No electric, but fire pit in each. Option to rent kayaks too. The road is paved all the way to campground. Lots of hiking trails too. Bring the bug dope!

Very nice and clean area. Parking spaces are level. Especially the one on the end. Felt safe. Quiet night except for some chickens and a donkey. Garbage cans next to the parking area you can put your trash.

Awesome place. Away from HWY 89, so reasonably quiet. Just a bit of sand on top of packed dirt. Trees for shade.

We were in the general area looking for a place to stop to break up a long drive. We're in a 25 foot MH and are self-contained, so don't need facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in late June. There were 6 other RVs overnighting with us. We arrived after the Trading Post had closed and left early in the morning. This is a large parking lots with several flattish spots. There are a few lights on overnight, otherwise dark. It's up against the interstate so there is some road noise. Otherwise, it was a quiet night. We had good ATT and Verizon cell signals

Visit with my truck Eduardo. They resolved a leak in the clutch. They were very kind to us. They are professional when it comes to work. They left everything perfect. I recommend this place. They specialize in trucks or large vehicles
