Huge truck stop with restrooms, showers, ample parking. I could not access WiFi, but my cellular data worked great. I was able to stream a movie. I parked at the northwest corner of the property and awoke to a beautiful view. There was some noise, but I travel with earplugs. This is a great spot.

We left after a couple of hours. Noisiest place we’ve ever tried. Hot rod wannabe’s, crotch rockets flying up and down, transport trucks all around us.

Great place to relax after dusty Transpantaneira. Lovely owners, clean bathroom, good wifi, possibility to do your laundry, beautiful river, nice dogs and little monkeys. Really enjoyed the tranquility of the place.

Backpackers only have the name. It's another Lodge. Correct rooms with bathroom for 150 or 200. In the center of the city. Restaurant with correct prices. parking.

For 13€ it's an ok place to stay for a night. I was told to take care of my stuff as there are other people around.

Very safe place to spend the night. The facilities here are very clean. I might recommend ear plugs for truck noise, but other than that it was a good place to spend the night.

Très bel et tranquille endroit pour passer la nuit. C'est un stationnement de terre avec une toilette sèche et une plate-forme avec deux tables et une poubelle. Belle vue sur un marais et il y a des panneaux d'interprétation très intéressants. Il y a un petit sentier à côté qui donne accès à la plage. Gardons cet endroit propre, c'est une vraie perle.

Great place to stay. Two fire pits . Pit toilet and nice view and breeze of the lake. Two smaller rv s will fit. No turn around area. Great swimming!

This place has gas, a restaurant, I guess cabins you can rent it or something. There’s a large lot behind that has a few trees and a lot of hook ups for both pull-through and back-in sites. Tent camping as well. They have a bathroom with hot showers, Wi-Fi. A convenient stop after a long drive north on the Alcan.

Worth visiting in spring/early summer when all flowers are open

Great little gas station spot. We stayed here for one night and it was very quite and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and nice and even allowed us to use their shower for $1000 ARS which was very worth it and really hot! The bathrooms were very clean but you do have to get a key from the attendant. It was a great spot for a good nights rest. We would definitely recommend.

(Gaia coordinates: 59.56279, -136.46584) Stunning view of the Tatshenshini Provincial Park across the road. This spot is just a few km from the US border, and it's just across the road from a large more established pull-out where you cannot camp. For this spot, look across the road from the aforementioned pull-out. You'll see another gravel area where you could pull off with a large hill right behind it. There is a dirt two-track path going up the hill. Take this up and take your first right. It's a nice, flat, hidden spot, and the view is insane. Road noise is nearly zero as it's fairly remote, and the border crossing closes at midnight. Room for multiple rigs, but definitely not getting anything RV sized up the hill. Enjoy!

PS - for $16 they offer a very nice shower room, complete with toilet, sink, soap, and towels. Well worth it.

June 2024 - Colombia to Ecuador

You arrive at the back of the Colombian immigration, you can either park on the right side where the exit is or ride 100m more and park directly in the front.. i decided to park on the back and luckily from inside i was able to keep an eye on the bike..

Ecuador immigration and DIAN are after the bridge, you can park just in the front, there are some guards and military so pretty safe.. DIAN was pretty easy and straightforward, they didn't ask me any copy of documents, I just had to give pass, matrícula, driver license and take some pics of the bike with their camera.. they sent me an email with a code or something so internet might be required..

Overnight parking available only in the designated "BUS RV" spaces, otherwise "No Overnight Parking " signs are everywhere. Some noise from nearby airport, otherwise nice stopover, and dinner & breakfast were great!

Big parking lot of Menards ,nice and quiet! We were in the right side ,there was on otherRV and a truck . Wifi free of Ménards !

Tables with awnings over them and a pretty view. The pit toilets were pretty clean. Overall, a good place to stay for a few nights, we only stayed one, but the max is 14 days. A bit noisy since it was windy and it is close to the road, but it acts like white noise!

Magnificent place to wild camp overlooking valleys and hills facing south west for a beautyful sundown. There are people living about 500 meters from us, but they payed us no attention, obviously used to campers. expect horses and cows walking straight through your camp returning for the night. 4x4 required since the meadow is fairly soft and the track up is quite steep.
