Very nice campsite, new abolition block. We stood on the sand with an awesome view ok the lake in the shadow of a big tree. It was really quite on a Saturday!

Camping sites for the Rifle Mountain park grounds.
Sites with flat surface for tents and tables. Toilets around.
10 usd per site + 5 usd for the park use.

Nice but very basic campground. The views are worth it. We could pitch our tent directly at the rim to the desert.
For the tent they charged 7000pp.

Be aware, tour buses pull up at 630am with music blaring and lots of talking...the go into the house in the corner for an hour doing something...not sure what. After they go, the town announcements come on as well. If you want to do the hike around 11, we had no traffic coming down towards us and in the afternoon, had the lookout to ourselves. Enjoy!

We went with our kombi vw (Argentinian model) to made a general test,nothing specific. Don Julio is very kind and friendly. He has lot of work so maybe you will there a couple of hours easily. But he know a lot about vw engines so you can trust.
Near his taller there is Tréveris square,you can spend the night there without any problem

We spent 4 night here. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Near to the center and the Mercado Campesino.
2 blocks away there are several universities so you can use the bathroom there for free

No more Supermarkt here, no ATM, but could change Rand into Pula here at the gasstation.

Open area to camp, can walk to the river, lots of animal sounds at night and signs of elephants

Ended up staying here for a week! Amazing spot above Cusco, close walk to town and cheap taxi back up. We met so many other overlanders here it was hard to leave. Showers are hot, WiFi is intermittent depending on how many people are here (lots!). Highly recommended.

Can confirm it is still shut during the weekend. Open at 7am on Monday. We had the choice on the TIP to go for 30 or 90 days.

Expensive place at 70,000PYG per person per night. Big pool, unlevel ground, clean bathrooms, electricity available. Busy at the weekend but quiet at night.

It is a restaurant in from the off lake in Te Anau city.

Good hotel with hot water and WiFi ! Room is clean ! You can find to eat on the street. We paid 30 soles for a matrimonial room 35 soles official price). We leave the bike on the corridor. Safe.

Very quiet and peaceful place. Stayed an extra night just to hear nothing.

It’s like in the middle of desert, a very quiet place with little hot pool. The night is fresh, cool after the Death Valley !

Next to the street there is a official picknick spot where you can camp. Only few people during the day (out of season) and nobody at night. There is an old lorry trailer which is actualy a sauna. Bring your own wood, only few around. There are some sheltered tables and e pit toilets. A beautiful spot. No MTS connection.

Nice, modern hotel that let us camp in the parking lot for 50 yuan per car.
We could use the toilet in the lobbi as well.
They have a restaurant with great food, naturally.

Large grass terrain with swimming pool. Dated ablutions. Hardly facilities for dish washing and manual laundry washing. AUD 40 per night (2 adults, camper). Showers AUD 1. Busy during holidays.

As described. No sound isolation could hear everything around. Bicycle inside on the garage. Cold shower shared bathroom.

One of the nicest view ever! Clear view of Tombstone! Bring your binocular. Spectacular. Firepit. Big rig will fit.
