A beautiful campground with firepits and outhouses at the lake. Absolutely quiet. And free! I don't know, if the road is too narrow for big rigs.

Beautiful spot! A local farmer though wamts to take this place of the app. Apparently too many people are using the spot which speeds up the lamdslide, which is happening along the river.
Might not be accessible next year

Chiripa is a small village that has Tiwanaku's ruins and a little museum.
Here you can see how lives the people around Titicaca lake, producing many kinds of native potatoes, cheese, crafts with "totora".
Mr. Emeterio and Ms. Domingas will take you to the lake, show how to produce in traditional forms.

Señora Lucy works in the cafeteria of the archological site (added this info to the main text). We asked her and it was no problem to stay on her propertie. Pay what you want.

good place to stay overnight. wifi just near Home Depot or Starbucks. We were here a Saturday night, we slept until 9am with no problem.

If you come to harbor and talk with the boat drivers, you can get the tour for 200pula park fee included. Obviously it's nothing official, but it's a good way to save money ;-) come 30min before the starting time

We arrived late, so booked the private room. Strange vibe & feeling in the hostel, it felt more like a hospital, there is almost no decoration whatsoever; everything is white. Host didn't speak any English and was difficult to communicate with, even in Russian. Parking is huge, but we deceided to go to Apple hostel the next day; much more comfortable and much nicer.

Bike without carnet, very long procedure at the border, I spent almost three hours and visited a lot of offices at the custom. Finally I got the TIP for free, I don't know if I had to pay something or if they forgot but they let me go

we agree it's a very good spot!
easy road, close to town. very good view on town. although it's close it's very quiet.

The ferry is going in the low season every Saturday at 8pm. It stopps at Caleta Tortel, Puerto Eden and Puerto Natales. In Puerto Natales the ferry arrive at 1pm on Monday. You have to pay in advance at Tourist information Cochrane, or over Tabsa.cl, or in cash at board. There a two small showers at board.

Good place to be, but you can only arrive with 4x4 becarse there is a sector that the sand is very deep. In this spot we saw foxes, coatis, toucans, pigs and 'corzuelas'.

Good municipal campsite, showers hot, in end of September we paid 90 for 2 pers and a small van.

Lovely cabanas, y campground. We arrived there for one night and stay 4. The owners Ricardo and Karin are very friendly. Our children play with there 3 sons.
Swimming pool now, in the future pool for playing for kids, can hire bike, a small adventure par with tyrolienne, football playground, hot shower,

Clean, cheap place for overnight camping. Close to Carlsbad NM.

No WiFi or Cell Service but there is a very nice "Center decouverte" close by with wifi, coffee and very comfortable sofas. You can relax there after doing your hikes! We enjoyed it very much.

Staff speaks English, shop is well run and everyone is professional and honest. They can even help you pre-order tires if you need.
Any motorcycle issues while in Georgia, this is definitely the place to go to.

This was a great place to stay, a little hard to find at night, but great views in the morning. Small hike up to a lookoff there with more great views. The beach is rocky, not sandy but still nice

Nice place close to 3 small water falls. The owner is very friend person. Medium RVs can fit here.

nice spot for photos or just to have a break. when going north the turnoff is about 50m before the new highway bridge. if you miss it you need to do long u-turn drives (same if you are going south). wish i had a drone...

Parking lot in the middle of the city. Gated at night, very clean. 4$/night and we could use the super clean toilets (there is even a electric shower, which we didn't use). Family lives here and is very friendly and welcoming! Height restrictions are about 2,7-2,9 m, small vehicles fit easily, bigger vehicles might be possible in the back.

nice quiet camping place, with small private area. spotless clean with a brand new beautiful shower. typical village noise start at 06a.m. We paid 180 N$ each. No WiFi.

Nice flat sandy area 50 meters from the river. Hidden from the road. Asked a local lady if we camp there, she said, “tranquillo”. We even took a bath in the river. So fresh!!! It supposedly a place where the truck get the stones from the river. But there was no truck nor people came until 8 am. Windy during the night.

It’s a sport ground next to the road. We asked the local if we could camp, they said no problem. Seems we were not the first person stay overnight in here. So many leveled area you can choose. We put our tent on the right side after the soccer field and made a camp fire in the night. There is water resource in the middle of the field. Calm and no one bother us.

We stayed here because it was raining hard. The local told us it’s safe to stay here. It’s open sport ground with some roofs near the entrance. There is water resource 20 meters to the south, next to the main road.
