Spent one night here, a pleasant campground up a winding washboard road. Variable 1-3 bars Verizon, sometimes too weak for Google Maps to route to next stop.
We stayed in site 3. All are grassy, like a mowed and watered lawn, and site 12 is muddy.
If you're in the Gardiner area in early afternoon, consider Canyon Campground as an alternative to avoid the washboard road.

Great little park. Clean and well maintained. $18 and change out the door for water and electric hook up. Concrete level pad. Dump station and storm shelters. Would definately come back.

This was a very busy and noisy lot earlier in the evening, but it was quiet at night. There are plenty of businesses and restaurants within walking distance, so it is a very convenient location. About 3 other RVs also stayed overnight.

We arranged the tour via whatsapp. Gert picked us up at our camping. then we used public transport to discover the City together. He is friendly, very knowledgable and has a great humour. So if you come to La Paz, we very much recommend you do this Tour. for us it was one of the Highlights of our whole trip. p.s.: he says he does tours in German and Spanish at native speaker Level. In English he does at well but feels a bit less at ease.

I stayed in my car camper (converted sedan) at the pulloff just before the "Road Closed" sign. Therefore, I did not stay farther in where the first camper who found the site stayed. I had a perfect view of the creek. It was exceptionally serene. I walked the path down to the railroad tracks- beautiful! I wouldn't take anything larger than a van due to the turn radius.

Very nice public library in the village of Ruidoso. Comfy couches inside with multiple newspapers and magazines to browse. Free internet with no password is accessible inside and also from the parking lot. Open 9am- 5pm, closed on Sunday, Saturday 10am -2pm.

Little pull out of the road in the Forest. Nice view of lake and montain. The level is no good exempt if you have some thing for niveling. Nice place for one night or two. 8km from Salmon Arm. Quiet and no trafic here. Train is down the Hill next to the lake but train is everything where in this area. (Next to 1 road) It’s not for big rig. One camper is ok. no more but other place up the Hill but level is poor too. Cell 2-3 depend LTE or 5G . My rig is 29 feet.

Be very careful booking this campsite, apparently they now only book the whole campsite for about USD 500 and do not any longer take individual bookings, activities are additional, unless they change the policy everywhere else is 20 times cheaper

The price for a menu is now 17 or 20 soles (depending on the starter you choose), we didn't find it that special, they were serving the usual menu you find everywhere in Peru (chicken soup, rice with meat, chicken with potatoes). Maybe on other days they have more interesting food. We saw other places with cheaper but identical menus, I would not stop here

has an 8hr parking sign, not enforced. just a regular truck stop with restaurant attached. There is a pub next to the end of the parking lot. either go have a drink and listen to some music or park a little away from it so you can get a good night's sleep, both are good options :)

We slept two nights at the policía turística they let’s use the bathroom. Israel was very welcoming and give us a lot of info. Also ask for a map the city can be quiet confusing.

Great spot. Short dirt road to the spot. Flat spot for RV at end of the road or turn right and find a spot further up the road with 4wd.

Very kind and generous people at this bomberos. Bodega was small but comfortable (no smell of gasoline). Nice kitchen, I didn't use the shower. I didn't even ask for the wifi but they just gave me the code! Bicycle was parked outside the bodega but the main gate was locked at night so it was safe. As long as you can respect their work hours and space, it's a very good place to spend a night. Not sure what the previous reviewers were expecting, but keep in mind that they let you stay for free, if you want your own freedom, better stay at a hotel.

Beautiful quiet spot right across the street from the beach, it’s clean, safe and quiet. Very light traffic in the evening and nothing during the night. No amenities. Please leave no trace and keep it low, we don’t want to lose such great resource. :)

These campgrounds (lower and upper) are now $20 a night, or $10 if you have an America the Beautiful pass. Envelopes and drop box available at campground entrances. Though, at the upper campground at least, didn’t seem like others paid and they left early in the morning. Maybe they only check on the weekends? Either way, fees are a thing here now, unbeknownst to me, as it’s been 7 years since I came up here last.
