Pernoitamos 1 noite no parque com MH. agradável sossegado e aparentemente seguro.

Stayed one night. Just a warning if your rig is higher than 9'6". But there are a few spots to park on this side of bridge. Also there is a train bridge where they seem to switch, so a bit noisy. GPS position wasn't accurate in previous post so I used GPS location while still here.

Very basic, a bit expensive but nice to be on the line :)

There is a water fountain here, next to the highway. Quiet place to have a snack, has a table and benches.

This campsite is super nice! If you have children, there is a large playground with plenty to do. The quads are fantastic for all ages! There is also a toilet and shower. WiFi is very good. They are super friendly and want to show and tell you everything. Just as written below. My house is your house!

Looks like a Loaf and Jug now. Need key to unlock dump lid, charge is $7 without gas. It’s a tight fit. Stuck in the corner by dumpster and car wash exit. Otherwise it’s fine. Does have flush water.

Sooooo windy! Drove out to camp wind was blasting. Went elsewhere.

Close to road - open area - there is a Dunkin’ Donuts and BK next to it as well.

The RV's Support Point area is temporarily closed. There is no information whether it is undergoing renovation, maintenance or if it has closed for good (April 2024).

small car park on the bay by the boat launch. Locals arrived for 9am Yoga on Thursday morning at the marina, no one complained or confronted.

No guy with a gun there, just a person making us stop and showing us two 5000 bills. We said we pay at the hotel, but no one asked us there to pay. When we left the checkpoint was empty

Beautiful lodge with a few campsites right on the river. Good rates and friendly staff. Campsites are all level, overlooking the river. We are only here for one night but it's one of those places you'd love to stay longer.

Quiet. Basic camping only. There is some water and a place to dump. We paid $8. for the site. If you are 62 or older and from Illinois you can stay here free, M-Th. The very nice park manager checked us in after he was done mowing and brought us free firewood. Love this park!

Update - Campsites 1 & 2 are on the right (W) side of the road and basically for a single tent (maybe 2 sm tents) The bathroom is on that same side, as is garbage and aluminum recycling. Campsite 3 is on the opposite side of the road and much larger. Probably 3 tents, if not more depending where you park. There is also a 4th site, N of site 3 on the same side of the road. Room for 2 tents. All sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Site 3 has a grill in addition to the fire pit. If you walk up the road 100ft, you can get 4 bars of 4G LTE with T-Mobile. Great views just up the road or a quick hike up to higher rock outcroppings. For free camping, this is pretty great!!!

took us 6 hours to get to. got lost a few times in the desert. ended up in a fishing village at one point. had to dig a path at another point.

Better than the sloped gravel lot at the end of Gibson Street is the level paved lot just south of the GPS location indicated. It is before Picaroons Brewery and there’s a big green P sign with no parking restrictions.
