The coast circuit is really interesting, a lot of spot where is possible to camp or stay only for diner. This beach is really a good place because is half protected from the wind. The beach is full of big fossils that are interesting to discover. there is also some interesting spot with wind protection for tents

There are a few boondocking sites in the area. BLM land. This site has a table and fire ring. Big vehicles will not fit in this particular spot but maybe closer to the main road. Lots of rocks for exploring. There is no cell phone coverage here.

The dirtroad that goes alongside some houses leads to the river. Quiet.

From Concepión till Andalgalá (RN65 / RP48) great scenic drive. Mainly gravel, but in quite a good shape. Make sure you don't have a hangover driving this route with all the hairpin turns! From Andalgalá towards Belén there is 50 km's of roadconstruction, the gravel on that part is so so.

spent here one night, nice spot. One other car was camping there. Protect from the wind was good.

Just a roadside rest area, nothing special. Be sure to visit Port Fairy while you are in the area.

It's a 12km dirt road to this remote surf camp/lodge but well worth it. Right on the beach, pool, bar, restaurant, fast wifi, new manager Elizabeth speaks great English and is super helpful. We did laundry, used the pool, chilled out. Mostly young surfers were staying in the simple cabanas but we set up out front. $5pp per night to camp.

1) This pin is wrong. The place is just around the corner.
2)Don't waste time going. From a 1-5 this is maybe a 2.
3) Was for an hour but it was a half-hearted type slap here slap there kid gives dad a type of back massage on a Sunday.

Gorgeous forest by the river with about two small openings and access to the water. The cedar trail comes into this spot by foot, but the small road in, about 200m before the trail’s entrance, is a little rough with pot holes and ingrown nature. Worth the slow drive in if you can make it. :)

Good spot on the river bank. The river itself is quite shallow with a current and the river bank is well exposed for some sunshine. The road in is quite rough, especially if you explore the different spots. I would recommend 4x4.
We took a small trail of the river bank to get more toward the west side where is was a bit more secluded.

Rooms a bit overpriced for what you get (55 usd for a single incl breakfast). Food is good but takes ages to prepare so order well in advance.
Surprisingly for a Belgian owned place the beer is warm 😆

Clean and basic hotel with restaurant, secure parking and three different room types. Enough parking space for big rigs as well

- 1500MZT for small room
- 1800MZT for medium room
- 2000MZT for big room with A/C + TV.

We paid 2000 MZT for three persons.
Very kind staff and good restaurant, dinners cost 180 MZT.

In the beginning very helpful and offered us, to camp in front of his store. After he realized, that he can't help us within time (we had to ship) he went away and left us alone with shaking brakes and a flat tire. The day after we realized, that someone took some belongins out of our car.
This is my experience. I still think, it's an experienced workshop.

The owner Sebastian repaired a broken part of our VW T5, could find an alternative part to the original one not available in Argentina. Very nice guy. Only speaks Spanish.

The place is as described, but with space for only one regular car to park. Bicycles and motorcycles will fit.

Wide area for all types of motorhomes and also for camping with tents. Few locations protected from winds. Good source of water to fill the tanks.
