daveblaisy9 | Nice rocky parking/camping spot. On the side of North Naramata Road so pretty quiet at night. You can venture further on the edge with a high clearance car to have a wonderfull view or stay a bit further and still be good. A bit windy for campfire and a little bit of glass on the ground so watch your tires. But overall pretty descent spot. |

Ivan | Flat spot just off the road, just outside of Canmore. Further from the railroad than the spot east of here, closer to the highway, so expect some noise but the road is quiet at night. We spent two nights here without a problem. There is another larger parking area two km east of here. |

Only the Wind Knows | Site right by a lake with gorgeous views. Accessible by a gravel road. There’s a track down past an abandoned and demolished house. Site is visible from the road and there is some road noise - especially construction trucks working on a water line. But the view makes up for it. Quiet at night. No one bothered us. Shepard and sheep came by in the afternoon. |

t.hoesel | Exiting TZ and entering Zambia German Passport with CdP. The busiest border we have seen in whole southern and eastern Afrika! First go to customs on the TZ side of the border before the gate to stamp out your carnet. The first time we passed it without seeing it because of the many trucks in front of the building. But TZ immigration sent us back. Stamping out of Carnet was done in a few minutes. Then you go to this one stop border post. First they want to see you yellow fever vaccinations. Then we went to TZ immigration to stamp out. Done in a few seconds. After that we went to Zambian immigration to buy a Visa for 50 USD (single entry).
All in all it took us 2,5 hours. Most time was running around and waiting time. There is an ATM at the border for Zambian kwacha but it didn't work because of failing network. If possible try to avoid this border. |

It's not a slow car, it's a fast house | Quiet spot near edge of river. May flood, stay back from edge. Walking and truck traffic but only curious stares. Bugs at night. Cooled off nicely at night. Could also continue on main road down to ocean. A few parking spots and a restaurant. (See signs) |

timrossie | There is a really easy and fast detour. When coming from the peruvian border, just take a right at the small church with a small square in front (dirt road). The turnoff is before the Gas Station in Copacabana. Just follow the easy dirt road for about 1km (up and down the small hill). No height restriction and easy road.

caminosalvaje.org | Great place for seeting up a tent, good shade, green grass, artificial lightning during the night, water source, toilets. Quite popular among locals tho, so might be quite busy on weekends, and usually they stay until late(around 1pm), wich might be an issue if you are planning to go to bed early |

saskia.ranger4 | We stayed here in our van, didn’t pay anything as there was no one collecting rubbish... also no bins around which sucks. A really beautiful spot where you can see the ocean alive in front of you - flying sting rays, sea lions, huge turtles, pelicans and star fish on the shore line! Can be windy but mostly wasn’t when we were there. About 5-6 groups camping each day. Very peaceful I wish people would avoid playing music so others can enjoy the serenity! Also climb up the mountain with the cross on the top :) |
