Stayed here 4 nights. Lovely rural place and town. Good wi-fi in the office. A lot of Americans, Canadians who live there and willing to talk/hang out/help. 330 pesos per night full hookups 24ft

A slightly steep gravel road just outside of Deadwood SD. One pull through and a couple of back in spots with amazing views. There is a primitive toilet house sitting at a trailhead nearby, the pull offs are just past there. We made the pull through spot with a 23’ travel trailer just barely. The other spots are a bit smaller, possibly would have fit in but didn’t try.

Very neat campsite with grass and well shaded – just be aware of the monkeys. Clean ablution facilities with hot water. We paid 135 ZMW per person. WIFI available at Reception and Bar with good speed. Lots of air activities due to the falls and might disturb some people. Nice view over the Zambezi to have a sun-downer.

Palm Springs is an informal, free camp site next to a natural warm spring. Small camping area, fits about 5 campers alongside the road. Can be dusty as road trains use the road to access the cattle stations. 24 Hour limit but on staying here.

Really nice park on the edge of a small town. A few picnic tables, big parking spaces, all pull in, no pull through. looks like pit toilets, but didn't check them out. Police drive through a few times a night. We were the only ones in this spot that can easily accommodate a dozen rigs.

Large area with big trees, hardly any noise from the road at night; watch out for the tombs at the hill to the south; beer bottles and other rubbish indicate the place might be frequented at times … we were on our own

If you go to the covered part there are plug ins and toilets and no one bothers you.

Great place with water, electricity and also wifi! No dump station, no toilet and an outside shower. Monika and André are very welcoming. Great bananas, smoothie and coffee, thanks ! They have 6 guarding dogs locked, so all safe and very quiet. They have also guest houses, all new with air conditioning and well decorated. They also have a small swimming pool. Nice stop after Belmopan before visiting Big Rock falls, Rio frio cave and rio on pools.

Nice hotel, noisy in the mornings, but with secured parking and hot showers! 400 Birr 2 persons. Good for a stop over.

Wonderful place to stay right on the Indian Ocean. There are several rooms overlooking the ocean and the homemade food (freshest seafood you'll get) is amazing. Mama Sarah and the rest of the staff will welcome you. It's also possible to take a trip on their own boat or kayak to the nearby mangroves. A must when you're in the area!

A water fountain which is super cool and fresh spring water right on the main road.

nice, clean laundromat with lots of machines. $2.50 to wash, .25 on the large dryer gets you 5 minutes. showers are $5 for 11 minutes.

ND$ 170pppn. Very large camp site with shade, light, braai and water tap. Good facilities. Free wifi at swimming pool and big restaurant and bar. Cheapest option we could find. Nothing bad to say.

We did not stay here but visited the waterhole, which was awesome especially during sunset time. The waterhole is positioned so the sunsets right behind it which is amazing to watch with the animals. In only a few minutes we saw an elephant and giraffes. The next morning we heard people say that two male lions were there!!!

Best waterhole out of Halali and Nanutoni.

Do a little good! Wonderful dog/cat rescue in set up in the highlands. Really a great place to visit particularly if you are a dog lover. There is a communal house for access to bathrooms (showers), kitchen, WiFi, etc. Gated and secure parking places available in the yard under some beautiful fruit trees. Electric may be available with a long extension cord. Not really suited to big rigs but great for small to medium (I’m traveling in a full size truck with pop-top camper). Lots of hiking trails close by, may also be a good option for parking if you plan to hike Chirripo. The rescue is always in need of good volunteers for dog walks and chores around the house. You can stay without volunteering but the dogs are so cute I doubt you’ll want to. I stayed 2 weeks and loved my time here! Watching the dogs and puppies change and grow is priceless. I also travel with a dog and having him with me was no problem (dogs must be good with other dogs and cats). Price: $10.00/night. Fee goes DIRECTLY back into the animal rescue so you know it is going to a good place.

Only proper gas station in area, but don’t trust mapping to get there. Instead follow big green signs “estación de servició”, or later the before mentioned small brown wooden sign “combustible Copec”.

off the highway, yes there was alot of garbage, but can fit a larger unit, lots of tree cover, great bathroom break for a pet

solid place. pool. river access and friendly staff. we were told half plots were not able for cars. 25 Euros for two people,a tent, two dogs, and a car.

Very cute and well equipped little store with especially a lot of organic and local produce.

Nice level gravel pull out overlooking river. River access would be tricky due to steep hill but road is very quite (only saw 2 cars) and a beautiful secluded spot. Easily accessible with 2wd, with trailer or whatever. On the way to Buck Creek Campground

Safe spot, a litlle bit noisy but ok. Close to a public hot shower 1500pp.

Great spot. Go to the second car park. A little further away from the road. Mossys are bad.
