Small campground with fixed, powered sites only on manicured lawns. Short distance from Snowy River and next to General Store. Sites partially shady. Well maintained ablutions. Gas barbecues, but no kitchen. AUD 40 (2 adults, campervan).

As much a snackbar and news agency as a grocery. Very limited stock of vegetables, only one kind of white bread. Fuel.

Wow this couple is so lovely. We wanted to spend only one night but we spent 2 nights there altought that we are in a hurry to go back to France.
Farshid will love to bring you to swim with him, to make you delicious cookies and fresh smoothies.
Amazing place to relax and share good moments with them or eventually other overlanders 😉

Lovely state park, big sites, lots of privacy, and hiking trails a plenty!

Quiet place, grassy area, fire pits, some places with wind protection. Nice view at the beach. Friendly and helpful owner. Hot showers, electricity, good WiFi. 300ap for 2 in a Motorhome

I don't think it is accessible with a van or rig without 4WD. Didn't dare to go down.

Very good place to spend a night. We spend a Saturday and Sunday here and seems to be a place for family spend the weekend. Nice walk trough the Bush’s ver friendly staff. We saw puma footprints. Definitely nice place to see.

Next to the Mex 175, when the road to Guixe begins, a nice lady has a small stand of tacos. I think you can only eat the food she's preparing for the day but it's good and the cheapest tacos whe never had (10 pesos/taco)

Overnight allowed, good place to visit the city. Quite noisy due to train and city noises. Good place overall

We stayed at the end of the street where it dead ends - a little busy on a Sunday night but overall quiet by 11p and GREAT swimming in the morning even in January!

No camping but very nice resort for befor and after you start a tour trough Botswana. Nice and clean room, good food in the restaurant, very quiet at night, only hippo’s in the back.

Uhaul propane refill. There lot is large enough for 32ft RV.

Wild Camping off Mex 1 behind a hill surrounded by a great garden of cacti, agave, cardon and cirios. You have to cross lots of trash just after leaving the highway at the pullout. The place itself is clean and not visible from the highway, the noise is no problem.

Perfect campsite. Clean, on grass, large palm trees with lots of shade, wonderful ablutions. Sea view. 100 south on beach a nice restaurant for seafood. Loved it here

Stunning cocktails and amazingly tasty tapas. Possibly the best $18 I have spent for some time and possibly the best cocktail I have ever had - the Cuban Fashion, simply stunning.

we spent the weekend here. beautiful spot. a lot of wildlife aswell. wild horses, llamas, rabbits and so on. highly recommended, money well spent.

A good camping area a walk distance from the town. Electricity and some tables available. Great bathrooms, always clean and very good hot shower. We stayed for 2 nights and paid 1400 pesos for 2 adults.

Spring water flowing in a dozen of pools spread in trees along the river. Most are organized with a place for grilling and shade.
Entry is 50 pesos for a car. Our 7m RV with 2 adults and two kids counted as a car.
Night was free.
Very nice for a bath.
Bucket toilet included.

Grassy camping area, functional kitchen and clean bathrooms, hot showers available. Right next to the river, loved it. WiFi strong, cheap taxi ride to town. Abby is a very kind person, she gave us some avocados from her tree the day of our arrival, and she sells beer as well, always convenient. Pet friendly.

Hotel is standard Holiday Inn prior to crossing Mexico border

One of our fav hikes of the Carretera Austral, not too steep and pretty forests led to dramatic views

If you go down by the lakeside it’s really nice, hill was fine for 2wd. Were several locals fishing (some kids caught one) but all left by around 20h

GF - gluten free and every Asian cuisine under one roof Bangkok, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Saigon,Beijing, Thai and even Mongolian.

Between Jumbo supermarket and Gym there is a parking space. big enough for every RV. at the end you find two water taps. The right one with a hose.

It's the best place in town and the surrounding to get agua potable.
