We were introduced to this place by a Chilean friend that brings all of his vehicles here. He said they’re cheap, honest, and quick. They seem to open at 930 or 10; if you bring your vehicle here early you have a better chance of getting it done quickly. They specialize in tires, brakes & rotors. We got an oil change, tire rotation & balance, rotors machined, new brake pads for 215,000 pesos.

Nice location next to the lake with good sunset and sunrise views. Some caimans passed by in the morning. Quite calm at night despite the noisy bridge, as there is little trafic. Just before the bridge, some place to share with the local fishermen. Room for a few campers, ok for big rigs. No facilities.

Full hookups, some pull through sites, Clean, scenery, walking trails, quiet. Lake is very low

The last day of new-year we arrived at 17:00.
There were at least 100.000 cars parked and 4 million people camping/picnicking.

No space for us :-(

Free parking spot busy in day with hikers quiet by night! Plenty of spaces and great area! Near by town with cafe restaurants etc...

A market with a lot of food stalls selling seafood. We arrived around midday and there were a lot of locals eating. Squeeze between them and have some delicious Ceviche.

Awesome quality service and affordable prices.

The repair shops works with normal vehicles, vans, busses, etc and they will support you on everything you need.

If you are stuck on the road or can't find the place, just give them a call and they will surely find a way to help.

The owner (Jorge) speaks a bit of English and the owner's son speaks very good English and German and they are incredably friendly.

This was closed when we came past. It had "peligro" tape across the entrance. we continued to the next campsite which was fine.

Beautiful campsite. As described... tables and chairs under shelters. One big enough for two tents to camp under which was great as it was raining. Very clean and nice. Arrived around 9pm and left around 10.30am and unfortunately there was no ranger around for us to pay.

place is a little bit in wrong location:
drive inn the small street between DTB bank and Puma Petrol Station! Than look on right side where bamboo is.
Food from southern India which is very delicious. Mains 9.000-14.000

nice camp no amenities except a pit toilet its behind a locked gate and must be reserved in advance . it's easy. Google it and check availability. lots of trails can be muddy but road to camp sites is solid no worries on getting stuck . all kinds here ,big rigs tents and car camps .

Walmart parking lot. So quiet and close to entry of Antelope Island.

Flat Level Parking Lot. Water available 1 Euro per 80L . Electric hook up 1 Euro for 1 kw. Close to Bad Durkheim, which is a very pretty town surrounded by vineyards.

Nice and quiet place. 4x4 required to climb up the field if rainy though.. You can park along the dirt road too. Almost no traffic.

Nice few hiking trails here, you'll have to do a lot of bulder scrambling.
We paid 50 P per person.
they also have zip lining here, don't know anything about it.

The Republic of Congo "embassy" was sketchy beyond belief!!! We're actually not sure it was legit, so ultimately we left. No signage on the building inside or out, no security, you enter through the garage and go up to a room with nothing but a table on the third floor. 3 young men in very casual clothes swarmed around us and gave us the form. A sheet of blank visa stickers and a calendar sat on the table, but no log book The guys quoted us 90,000 CFA for a 1 month visa (40,000 in Benin) and insisted there weren't any shorter visas than 1 month. They refused to show us a price sheet when I asked to see it. When we decided to leave the price suddenly came down to 60,000. It's quick, but I would NOT recommend getting your visa here!

Accommodation with large parking, partly covered, with locked gate.Enough space fur multiple vehicles. Rooms spacious and clean with private bathroom. Communal space with water cooker etc. (also one in the room). 1000 Rubles for 1 person in a 3 beds dorm, which I had to myself.
Friendly little coastal town; a world apart from the area south from here. A gas station and supermarket just around the corner. Beware: you won't find any accommodation for a while when traveling in the direction of Makhachkala. Empty, hadden landscape with loooooots of wind, straight and boring roads but splendid tarmac.

It was hard to find WiFi in Ilo. Finally we found this nice cafe with good cakes (5 soles) and fast WiFi!

Great place for laundry. Fair prices in comparison to others places in Rio Grande do Sul. Recommended.

Ok. Serious. If you are vegetarian or vegan... you must try this place. Calia is super knowledgeable and all fruits and veg are grown on site or at her property down the road. We had giant smoothies one morning and had to return for lunch. Comida Rica And she bakes her own bread daily.

At all Hot springs, no soap in the pool. Take a bath away from the springs before getting in the pool. Please leave the place better than you found it. Pack it in, pack it out. With these pools it's easier to warm it up than cool it down. Leave just a wee dribble flowing into the pool when you leave. Another gift of America's public lands. Burros very loud @ night but it's their home, eh?!

Neat place with nice trail. Free camp. Three toilet buildings. Petroglyphs hard to see due to vandalism. Dang! Best level camps r on the far end.

New owner, it’s called Madre Selva Hostal. Dorm 12$ or 17$ with breakfast. Everything is very clean.

Stayed here one night on our way thru Portland. Great spot not too far from anything but it was a bit bright and noisy but that didn’t bother us. Looks like the parking lot is going to be developed soon. The parking meter was no longer on site or any signs about $1.50 parking but no one bothered us without a ticket 👍

Has safe drinking water, friendly staff and enough space to pitch your tent. Maybe try to put your tent up behind the house so you don’t have the traffic noise all night long. There is a small shop on the opposite side of the street, you can get basics there like spaghetti, cold drinks, some canned food.
