Nice side road which goes for about a mile. A high clearance vehicle would be wise.

Pull out just off the main road... there were a few other RVs here. Close to the road but traffic dies down after the park closes at 7pm. 2WD just fine.

Rustic site with private ablutions. Very quiet at night, no lights so great for stargazing. Owners very friendly. We asked for the kudu pie but they only make this during high season, we got some biltong instead. While we were braaiing the owner gave us a piece of kudu worst he just made for free! Really nice! Price $N130 pp.

On the beach camping. Great swimming in the ocean. Very pleasant staff and reception lady very helpful and front of house manager Theresa very attentive. Jeff security manager very professional and smart. Beautiful setting. Apparently a lovely swimming pool as well but didn’t get to use it. Recommended highly

Great place, empty beach and natural source of water. went with motorbikes, no problem to get there.

Campsite include water, sewer, and electric. Cost is $20/night. Turn off Highway 412 onto Airport, Blvd and enter the gate behind the VFW building. Campsites are located along the fence line. Pay at the Chamber of Commerce Building during regular hours. Walmart within walking distance. All sizes of RVs can park. Call ahead to make sure there are no activities planned on the sites. Its located on the county fairgrounds. 573-888-5828.

A lot of spaces to camp though 2 fields are covered with construction/sewer pipes and many places are full of picnictrash. After 2 nights we were sent away by unfriendly military/rangers because we we seemed to be in a wildlife sanctuary (??)

We asked the reception staff if we could stay over night on the parking lot of the hotel.
The staff was very kind and offered us some tea. We also visited all the facilities of this middle-age-castle-style hotel.
It was low season (a lot of snow in April still) at the time we stayed there. This place might be busy during high season (June to August), not worth trying at this period of time.

The road deteriorates badly south of Caiundo. There was an attempt to rebuild the road in 2013, but the road works have been abandoned for many years. It took us one and a half days to cover 225km south of Caiundo to the border crossing at Katwitwi. No fuel south of Menongue. We did the road in the wet season and it was passable, however there are some sections of the road are so eroded that a bad flood could close the road. There are very few vehicles on the road. There are villages, but almost no shops or services.

Good bicycle mechanic. Changed my broken spoke easily (for 28inch wheel)

if you go further or take the other track parallel to the canyon, you can also find other place with amazing view on the canyon (but probably more people here, especially during weekends, because we saw many trash on the ground)

Everything as stated below. Tar road is finished and price is still N$160 pp. They do ask an extra N$60 per night if you want to use the 220v. power for your camping fridge.

Nice and peaceful spot near hot springs, we camped across the river on a flat paddock. Water in the pools is very hot, boiling in some and the locals cook eggs in it! :) No amenities, but there is a small food stall at the entrance.

Rest stop on the east side of Eureka. We stopped here overnight. Quiet and level. We had no issues with our overnight stay. Picnic tables under shelters a welcome sight for cooking breakfast with the morning drizzle. There is a RV park next door but we arrived after dark and this was an easy setup after a long weary day. No bathrooms. Lots of wildlife in area. It is almost dawn and our hunting dog is on high alert at the moment. Definitely recommend.

RV-Parking with all Amenities and great mountain view. Near to the traditional center of Mittenwald Market with historical houses etc, and shops, Bavarian Restaurants, Mountain Trails ... Near also to Mittenwald Station, but the passing trains don't make much noise.
Prices start at 13 Euro per night + electricity. Good place to have a break, when entering Germany from the South.

I was here 2 weeks ago for 1 week for FREE and I'm back since 3 days but this morning a security guy told me that it's not free for overnight. It's $30..per night !! with no service. Very expensive. So no choice to find another place -_-

RV Overnight-Parking near to the Sylvenstein-Lake (= artificial lake to control the water flow of the Isar River). Not any special facilities, just parking space, with access to the lake and to a Bavarian Restaurant nearby (200m).

Dead-End way in the fields with space for a few RVs. Not any facilities, and no houses nearby. Nice open view to the West. Stayed there a few times over the last years: Not any disturbances or problems...

plenty of space next to the river. this is not the most beautiful spot but it's quite handy. we stayed here to do some washing because the river is quite clean and easy to access. quite a bit of trash and you can hear the road but you can camp behind the bushes so noone will see you.

10 €. Near the center - walk everywhere. Electric, wifi and hot showers. You cannot drink the water. Grassy area for tents. Grocery store and ATM one block away.
