lotte | We have been at 7 campings in Costa Rica so far, and this one was our least favorite. It is a big backpackers hostel. The location was quite dirty, with a lot of garbage. The sanitary was ok, but I definetely would not recommend it if you want to camp at a beautiful place. We decided to move a bit more to the south to camping El Arrecife, where the athmosphere is much better, but good facilities are missing |

andinho&adaminho | 24 hours for 400 pesos. They have space under roof or few on the sun (if you need solar energy). They have baňos! So it seems like a cheapest option how to stay in the centre for reasonable money. We asked if we can stay for the night sleeping inside and there was no problem. You can pay by debit card. They also clean the cars if you need. |

phonography.world | very nice place, we were on the week and we were alone. the pool is nice and you can bath in the night. if the owner are not here, you have to go to the tienda, down the road to find the guardian. They sell cheese and agua panela. We paid 40k for two |

thisbusplusus.com | Although the road in is hard packed enough for large rigs (>25ft), the actual car park is very soft and there is limited space to turn around.

Nice riverbed. The riverbed itself is muddy right now. I drove into the village and followed one small street/riverbed to the bigger riverbed. I slept directly at it. Very nice. I didn’t stay at the correct position but I guess it just depends on the season. |

You still have to pay 10Bs. The road is unpaved for about 10km in the section between Uyuni and Tupiza. The rest is very good. |

sandra.offca | Beautiful park, nice parking lot at the end. Two open toilets even outside the season. No bright lights disturbing your sleep but gets very busy in the morning. Lots of locals going for a walk but nobody was bothered by us. By-law enforcement came in the morning but didn't say anything. Only pit toilets during off season. Deer walking by at night. |

Calderescapes | We drove in, no one asked for money. we walked to closest lookout and an employee was there. He walked us to the other lookouts and didn't ask for a entrance fee. We gave him a propina. Saw lots of sea lions and their pups as well as one sea elephant and many birds. Landscape beautiful. Road beyond was super washboardy. We later heard it gets better further on but we'd already turned around. |

instagram.com/reidboy______ | Beautiful spot overlooking the pacific coast near Cerritos. Space for a few tents or maybe 2 trucks. Very rough terrain, 4wd required however if your rig can’t make it you could probably park below and walk up. Have not slept here but I did ride my dirt bike up here to hang out for a while |

paicanuck | As described in previous posts. Excellent location. Excellent host. Excellent beach. Excellent vibe. At 200 Pesos to set up a tent, I found it very expensive. There really isn’t any nice grassy areas for tenting either. Parking/gravelly areas or on a tiled area under a motel room sandwiched between the new toilets and old one/ current shower. So just be aware it is a motel and RV park first and camping as an after thought. I still highly recommend it. |
Villa Celeste Resort | 23.80649, -106.88033 | |
moehre | Close to Carmelo we found this old grocery store founded in the years 1900. They produce wine in the 5th generation and sell it together with other local products. The very friendly owner Diego allowed us to stay here overnight with the camper after a fine wine tasting (900 UPesos including food platter, enough for two). First class Bano open all night. |

milesharlow7 | Follow the endless sand roads out here in the Ocala just outside of Paisley. This spot was near the end of a long sandy road just past the power lines. There were multiple spots along the way. Low clearance with wild trees overhead in some spots. We stayed at this site for 24 hrs and never heard another vehicle. Lots of waking trails with beautiful wooden bridges and paths through rain forest like scenery. Very quiet and very green |
