Stayed in the campground. Serviced sites $31 with unserviced also available for $28. Very nice park with access to bike and hiking trails ( park is right on the Trans Canada Trail system). Also has pool in season. Open May 24 to Labour Day.

Peaceful spot, trees for shade and to hang your hammock and curious cows roaming around. Plenty of firewood to find along the river. Recommend

VERY REMOTE! Roads not on Google maps. Lots of forks in the road branching off into two and three roads making it easy to get lost. Not for big rigs, no place to turn around. We stayed her one night. we were all alone. Good option given how hard it is to find a place near Cannon Beach.

Clean, basic rooms with private bathroom. Showers are with the bolian electric waterheathet.
I could park my car right next to the diningroom.
The owner Gregorio is also a mountainguide.

Wonderful place. We paid 60 Rand p.P. and have not been asked to pay the „international“ rate.

Ablutions have been very clean. Still no hot water.

Nice place, and added bonus of being sheltered from ocean wind.

Not many petrol stations around but saw some trucks tanking diesel hier.

Excellent spot. Trees for shades. Plenty of room. Quiet althought boats makes some noise when they pass through. Major potholes, as mentioned. Go slow. Many people fishing during the day.
Be aware; no bathrooms, no picnic tables, you are parked on the side of the gravel road.

It is not just a view point. You are allowed to do several hiking trails which you can combinethat. Day visitors pay 50 for the day. Overnight guest dont pay. Recommended to do at least the Leopard Trail because you have beautiful viwes of the dam, the canyon and the three Rondavelds. Dont miss Worlds End view point in the beginning!!! Best light in late afternoon!

BLM land. Rocky/dirt road with a few areas to pull off and park. Not the best spot but great view of UT Lake.

The worst part of this stay were the bugs- there were swarms. I've been in this general area before and the bugs were never an issue.

Large open area on a rock formation, some coverage from the road. Far from villages.

Free drinking water at the fire brigade.

You need five hours if you take the longer, but nicer track. Four hours for the direkt way. So you can make an attractive loop.

If you want to hike up to the Yakhchal summit, 3.580 meters high, you can park here at the end of the tarmac road. For big rigs it's the last possibility, with smaller 4x4 you can drive up till the last buildings. Also possible to camp there with rooftent or normal tents.

many pull offs with picnic tables and water access . fishing , kayaking if ye have a kayak and even boat ramp + pavilion vault toilets. really great spot to kick back and catch catfish or enjoy the sounds of the wildlife. crickets, frogs, coyotes just over the hill .

there is a no camping sign at the entrance of the parking lot...so I stayed someplace else

We didn’t end up staying here but adding for info. 2000 for a bed in dorm, don’t think they had any private rooms. Dorms are single sex only. Secure parking behind the gate - big rigs probably wouldn’t fit due to height restriction but looked fine for us at 2.4 metres. Big shared kitchen. Kitchen and dorms looked clean. Small outdoor swimming pool! 500 to use the washing machine. The person that was there when we arrived didn’t speak English but she soon shouted for someone that did, both seemed very friendly.

Nice little hike at 3400m.
The easier trails up are on the back of the volcano (not road side).

ALL vegan cafe, prices range from $7-10 a dish but they are filling! We recommend the jackfruit sandwich. Some of the best vegan food we have found since Mexico!! Open 12-4pm and 7-10pm.

15 places expecially for campingcars provided by the city. It's a free spot. near the road so some noise at night but nothing too much. Near the village

Parked my bus and trailer here for two nights beside the beautiful lake with zero troubles.

Friday night was breezy , peaceful and fairly quiet with only a few cars going by.

Saturday not so much. Plenty of cars, boats and loud music by one family of kooks who were bumping music across the lake well into the night.

It definitely got buggy. Peppermint oil helped.

The signs were confusing to me. Some spots say no over nite camping while others do not.

Another sign says camping allowed in undeveloped areas while another says designated camping area in a gravel lot.

It looks like they may be trying to move the campers into the lot with giant rocks delineating the cramped camping spaces. It looks awful!

This is lovely area and is conveniently close to Yuma, but it could be hit or miss.

Big site lots of spaces. You have everything you Need. Sea is in sight.

Coming from Puno, we drove with our motorhome (2 front WD, 2.3m wide, 7.0m length, 3m height) directly to the Plaza of Chacacupe (3600m) and left at the right hand exit to Pitumarca. At 11am (earlier is better) we crossed the bridge and continued on a good, scenic and not to steep dirth road up to the 1st parking of 7 Colores/Rainbow mountain (1pm, 4570m). We crossed six cars which was no problem (left hand crossing). After buying a ticket (10 Sol/car), we continued for 15min on a narrow road up to the 2th parking (4850m). Then a 45min walk and 10Sol/p brought us up to the viewpoint of this colorful sight. If you can wait for the afternoon - most people are gone and the sun is at your back.

Got a knock on the door from security saying it’s not permitted to stay overnight in this carpark, but kindly let us stay for the one night as we pulled in after 10pm. Stay at your own risk.

Mixed views on this place. The location is superb, although the entrance driveway is very long and steep. This is not a place for campervans of any sort. Only tents are allowed and any campervans must be parked in the parking area sandwiched between cars. This means you'll struggle to sit outside and beside your van, so I would suggest somewhere else if you're in a van. Also, this is a PARTY PLACE....music will be pumping out of large speakers from about 18:00 into the night, making conversation in the restaurant impossible. 99% of the visitors will be adolesents who are there to party. It's a shame the place isn't aimed at travellers or campers. This place could be so cool. There's more f*ked up rules too, like you have to pay in cash to stay, but you can use your card in the shop. Some bottles of wine could be bought by card, but others can't. Go for the views and to party all night and sleep in a tent, otherwise go elsewhere. Prices now €13.000COP pppn.

Super beautiful area, and we were excited to reach this spot but a huge tree was down in the middle of the road as of June 1 2018 making getting there impossible.

Suitable for one night, quiet, no traffic.

Large parking lot outside of Whole Foods. Staff at the brewery recommended. No problem, quiet and safe.

Huge gravel turnout off highway. Stayed one night, as did another truck. Could hear road noise periodically, but not bad at all. Beautiful views!
