jordynrm9 | Stayed here last night with no issues! The overnight lot is 3B. There are a few other lots and none of them allow overnight parking. 3B is the only lot you can park overnight. Fine for an overnight spot. Great hikes at cypress park. |

pesky42 | Several wild camping spots in the woods near the river. We parked big rig up next to road, and trash bins.

victor.zavaleta | I left urique around 11:30 am and decided to do this route vs. going back the way i came through Creel/Hermocillo. I spoke to people in Urique and they said they had just done this route last weekend from Los Mochis. Said the route is being used by the Miners and there are trucks going in and out and it is in good condition. I arrived in Choix around 7pm. I stopped for food and pictures and drove slower than most perhaps. For the most part the road was fine. I do have a 4x4 with high clearance. After passing the mines, the road becomes more remote, no cell service pretty much the entire way. I did find that once i reached the sinaloa and chihuahua border and further into sinaloa the conditions for the roads worsen. going up/down the canyon part of the road was a bit washed out. larger rocks filled the areas where the arroyos had come through. high clearance did help. I would think that 4x4 would be needed if you encounter wet areas where the arroyo can be more muddy and thick when wet vs filled with water. The scene was beautyful and i did enjoy going through some of the smaller pueblos. I wish i had stayed over night in any of them. Pack a lunch. I left Urique with 3/4 full of gas and made it to Choix with 1/4 left. I have a V8 toyota 4runner if that helps. |

victor.zavaleta | I did use google maps and i would ask others i saw if i was going in the right direction. The miners were very helpful and friendly. If it werent for google maps and the miners, i would have gotten lost as there are many junctions. Although the main road is heavily used. |

viviane.eliot | L'endroit ressemble à un grand espace sur 2 niveaux en gravier et petits cailloux. Possibilité de planter la tente ou de garer un van. Très tranquille. |

daveonanInstagram | Excellent as stated above, but I would like to add that there's a temporary parking area for vans and smaller home-pods. You still have to register. It's half the distance from the casino, than the normal RV parking area. Not very level at all, so that will affect longer wheel based vanners. Good AT&T signal which is more important to me than Wifi. Very quiet on a Thurs evening with cool temps. |

wish-to-wander.com | Stayed for 3 nights is this awesome spot with gorgeous views, tons of space and GCI cell service. There’s so much room and when we were here there was about 12+ rigs. Getting in is a bit tight and we saw some bigger rigs being careful to not bottom out so just be mindful of that. |

eli.dannenbaum | Very nice camp ground with nice fire pit. Wood is a little scarce around the camp site but if you walk around youll find some. Definitely a great spot but not as magical as the previous comment says it it is. Last section of road is bumpy but very driveable. |

eli.dannenbaum | Lots of big boulders that look super boulderable. We would have stopped but it was raining. For people with crash pads who love climbing like us, drive along this road and boulder over 30 boulders! |

fb.me | Great and modern hostel. On maps me house #75, left of the shops, blue gate. Very friendly family with 3 big double rooms and a big dorm. You can ask to park inside the property, but even outside no problem. Without car it's s fair walk from the city, we did not see any public transport. Don't miss the mosque and the church in town. |

hmedina.geonomad | I don’t quite recommend it. Although ablutions are alright with flush toilets and hot showers, there is a generator on all night. Much better to go the distance to Third Bridge or Xakanaka. |
