Nice vistas of the valley. Tons of fallen wood from a forest fire. Extremely quiet with breezes and no mosquitoes.

Big area with several spots at the sea/lake. There is also a grill hut with fire wood next to the parking. It belongs to the national park with 3 other spots with more facilities (pit toilet, sauna, ...) Check the map at the parking lot. Camping is officially allowed:-)

We parked at the street, next to a playground, a couple of blocks from the main plaza, and one block from the bus terminal. Quiet at night.

City park by Little Lake. We slept in our van in the parking for one night with no problem. It was quiet until 7h30 am. There is a free beach nearby, and the park is overall really pretty. There is a campground next to the park where you could ask for a shower.

This place has everything. Laundry $3.25 wash $3 dry 45 minutes. Dump, water, propane and rv wash. Nice to get everything done in one stop.

20 Soles for a dorm bed. Has an okay kitchen, okay showers. The beds are very comfortable and the wifi was good.
Room for 2/3 motos out the front of the Hostal, seems very safe. Down a little lane way, where only residents will be.

As described. Its hard to get a free & legal spot outside the Badland NP otherwise. A night was about 26$, but they had a small pool.

Very nice interior pool with spa, sauna, toilets, individual changing rooms and showers. 5,25$ no limit of time.

Nice place to stop. we paid 25000 for matrimonial room with private bathroom. you can cook, very welcoming place

Went up further on Squaw rd and found a decently level place to park for the night.

Squaw rd is mostly up hill gravel. We got here in our 2 wheel drive sprinter

low season, we were the only ones. no hot water came with a discount at 5k per person pesos instead of 6k.
He said that the camping is closed but if he can he accept people. the park guard called him on the walkie talkie and the guy arrived 30 min later to collect the money.

Last update is still valid. Very nice location and very friendly attendants: brought firewood.

his growing mushrooms here can get really cheap price highly recomend and if you are climber close to here there is place called
puerta del diavlo which has good climb but batter come dry season
enjoyed time here !!

Large grassy and flat area. River was muddy and non-potable. Access road is steep and narrow, would not attempt with 2wd, and nothing wider than a car. Houses are close, no people around though. Did hear some stray dogs barking in the vicinity of our tent. View is pretty nice.

Situated directly at the beachfront with own beach. Very nice view, quiet area and friendly people. Restaurant and little shop. Not many people. 70 TL per tent and night. But on weekends in high season and during bayram it is horrible.

Police checkpoint between Dagestan and Chechnya. They let us pass without any hassle when they saw we are tourists.

Perfect place! Very quiet and lots of shade. Easy to find with the description. Beautiful sunset!

This is a beautiful spot. A number of other campers are here so you know it’s good.

drove to cue mnca specifically to see them based on the good reviews here. I have a power issue under load, likely electrical. the guy listened to my motor for 10 seconds, said it was fine and rushed me out the door. Didnt listen to me and clearly didnt want to work on the car. waste of time coming here

Nice little spot on a gravel parking in the Springer/Bump Sullivan wildlife habitat management area. The information board indicates camping up to 14 days. Very remote. Closed from October 1rst to Memorial Day weekend. The road to get there is narrow so not really big rig friendly, but with a 21’ short bus we got there easily.

We went there at 5pm on a Wednesday, the place was absolutely empty. A few cars and motorcycles pass during the night, but nobody said anything. In the morning a few workers from the damp parked near by, and left without crossing words. Quiet and peaceful. During weekends it might be a different story.

This is a nice place to rest. Hectorino is a very nice guy who is involved with bicycles and is mostly a biker’s well know stop, however there’s space for 3-4 vans and is a very good option in the region.
The region is beautiful and worth staying a few days.
The 1st comment about this place no longer applies.
Hectorino asked me to suggest a value, so I paid 15k. I don’t need electricity, so if you do, I’d suggest 20k.
Cold showers but the weather is hot enough.
Good WiFi. His restaurant only works by appointment, demand depending, but there are restaurants nearby.

Nice place. Quite crowded and people making lots of noise. Other than that, the perfect stop for the night.

don't need very high clearence to reach this site, though you do need to cross a mud pit. nice view of the mountains, very secluded, very level site with its own road to get to it. I wish I stayed here last night.

Nice place, we loved it. Camping for 15 soles pppn. Good bathroom with hot water. We had a decent dinner for 20 sol. They grow fruits here (I.e. blueberries, raspberries) which are delicious. Also their own Apu beer. Would recommend!
