For us the perfect spot around here. Quiet, only a bit of road noise and sheltered from the wind. You have a stunning view over the ocean, no one around, some garbage. High clearance recommended.

We’ve got any problem at the border and our passports where stamped without any problem.Didn’t take more than 15 minutes.
They even didn’t verify anything at the computer (didn’t work by the way)
Just wanted a proof of payment and we showed the Aproval mail we received in our phone.

Good campground with warm shower fairly clean and bathroom. Not a lot of privacy at the site. 24$ for a camp with electricity and water. 14$ for a tent.
Some sites have a good view of the lake.
Pretty quiet at night.

The info centre is still under renovation but the chalets are now available and they told us R500 for the night. They are huge 4 bed chalets with full kitchens, microwave, gas stove, fridge but no running water. They also have camping for R100. Camping is on an uneven patch of mountainside grass. Very exposed. No ablutions and no access with a car so no RTT.
We negotiated parking between 2 chalets and used our roof tent and the toilet in the chalet. Spectacular views, very friendly staff. Wild and lovely.

Stayed here one night, very quite and wonderful grassy area to stay. The police is in the "empty building". It was no problem to stay, the police came and said, if we need some help, we can just come to them.

Beautiful village with plenty of fruit trees and also rice terraces. From the village you can walk to the entry of the canyon where all water comes from. I saw people coming from inside the canyon with ropes and camping gear. Someone told me that you can tour for one or more day within the canyon.

Clean campsite with tables for picnic, a kitchen to cook, hot showers, 8000 pp per person. Street with a nice bakery. The site is secure, I recommend this place!

I did not visit here, but was researching it on Street View. The gps coordinates are on the side of a small road that doesn't look anything like the only photo attached. However, if you go to the parking lot at 20.574952, -99.693877 and check out the street view, you can match up the fence line and the shape of the hill so show that this parking lot is the correct location.

Really nice place and friendly owners. Electricity 110 V. has a roof, so you can sit there, when it rains. And it is in the rain forest! There is a lot of wood to burn.

A private room with independent entrance, a private bathroom and shared kitchen. Free WiFi and parking. Around USD 10 / person night, max 4 people.

Dont forget that visa's fee is 30$/pers not 35$!! And if you are travelling with your car like us you don't have to pay for the TIP it is free ! And the stamp in the passport is free too. No corruption ! With patience you manage to do it...​

Just beside the dirtroad leading to this place. Not much traffic. Nice view over the lake. Lots of space to camp at the lake, just choose yours.

Get your sim card here for 80 dobra. Bundle of 900 mb is 100 dobra, bundle of 3 Gb is 200 dobra. Bring your passport. Easy service and friendly people, and there is AC!

I went here at 9 am on a Thursday to ask about the possibility to get a visa here. There was a whole list of things to get, including tourist visa. The lady didn't speak French or English, but she told me to apply for the visa online at http://www.smevisa.gov.ao/.

Now it’s 200 Rubles per person. No real showers, but very cool experience! Bring your own „equipment“ as they don’t rent towels etc.
No lockers, so leave all valuables (mobile phone, purse etc.) in the car or with the cashier.
The banya is separated by gender, so as a couple you will enjoy it with the locals :-)

Nice beach. We stayed there in winter and it was deserted, but the huuuge trash container was a hint that there might be more people in summer :-)

Totally recommend! You won't find any better vegetables than this. Everything is fresh cut for you. They have eggs too. Nice family
