This place is great! A couple spots on the creek with picnic tables and fire pits. The air smells so fresh from all the cedar trees. We were the only ones out here on a weekday. A deer walked into our site this morning. We had no trouble getting here in our mini van.

Riverside BLM primitive. Picnic table and put toilets. No water or electricity.

May 16 to September 14 a fee of $12 Thur- Sat nights

$8 / night on Sunday - Wednesday nights

Very quiet campground, parking in a grassy field with water and power at each site. $27/night. Clean bathrooms and free hot showers.

Great spot. Coordinates and Google maps seem to send you on the wrong way. Use your eyes on Assomption Blvd and turn in the parking lot when you see a lot of baseball fields. Porta potty are clean, but locked as soon as the games end on each field. Use them early. Pretty quiet, slept well. We were alone

Stayed here in my 2012 4runner with a Freespirit evo roof top tent. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was noisy with traffic and a neighbor put a letter on my windshield saying that it is illegal to overnight camp and to respect the residents. Better off pulling over in a forest pull out somewhere near Hyde state park.

Dirt lot. lots of trash and broken glass. this is the "Tuba City Unified District" and isn't technically on the reservation so you can stay here without a permit. Beautiful desolate views.

Pasamos una noche en la UPC, los policias muy amables, nos prestaron el baño, fue una estadía tranquila.

Local em final de rua, de frente pro mar, bem iluminado, seguro, sem oferta de energia e agua. Local de fronte a um terreno vazio. Ideal para uso em baixas temporadas. Em altas temporadas acredito que nao de para parar aqui.

no issues staying here a night. arrived midnight, left 10 am. lots of other campers here.

Spent quiet rainy (so not busy and no sunset) nite. Tractor grooming the lot at 0530. Just worked around us but we were parked in farthest corner also. Woke to 7 or 8 kite surfers on the water. Great place.

Wash before you come to Prince George! This chain owns all the laundromats in town and they are ridiculously expensive! $12 for a double and $18 for a triple load??? Oy Vey!

You run into a cate halfway down the road that says private property, and cannot go any farther.

Do yourself a favour and visit this family. They are a total gem. So genuine, generous and sincere. I was a little sceptical initially, I'm not fond of guided tours and we opted out of doing their sendero the day we arrived. Then we got chatting with Fermin and Itsel around the fire in the evening and heard of their plans for a zipline/canyoneering/rappelling. My husband and I are climbers and he has many years of experience building ziplines all over the world. They invited us to see the spot and give our opinion. So we ended up doing the tour with Noe as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and well spoken. We learnt a lot and were very impressed with his passion for protecting their forest and his independent learning. We ended up happily paying for the hike (110pesos per person) because after 3.5 hours of wandering the forest and learning from Noe it seemed more than fair and we wanted to support the family in their project.

They loaded us up with provisions when we left, veggies from their garden and other bits and pieces. If we weren't vegan we would have driven away with in chingo de tamales too.

I would return to hike some of their longer trails and hang out. We left feeling very warm and fuzzy.

Crash there for more than 2 weeks. Felt very safe. Really quiet. Beautiful park. I had my skateboard, so i could literally be either in Venice or in Santa Monica in 10 min.
Restroom close at 6pm but outside sink and water fountain always available
