Ten spaces (basically large parking spaces) that can accommodate any size motorhome, or a truck and medium-sized trailer. Dump station available, but no at-site hookups. $10 permit required to stay overnight, which you can pick up at the County Aquatic Center that is unfortunately on the other side of town, at 2760 Canyon Road. Additionally, the Aquatic Center must be open in order to secure a permit, so you're out of luck if you get there late or on a Sunday or holiday. We missed the window, just after 7pm on a Friday, so we ended up staying at the visitor center in White Rock instead.

Got here late Friday afternoon. No one else around. Travel here made easier in 4WD low range via Sprinter van. When driving here towards gooseneck SP, make a right at mile marker 3. Follow along the rim of the San Juan River. Only a handful of spots along the rim. I camped at the end of road. Was a very windy afternoon and evening.

Here we slept on top of the mountain. There’s a cell phone tower and a really steep road that leads to it, 4x4 necessary. On the top you are in a different world and can overlook half of Lesotho. With the cell phone tower you also have excellent connection. But bring blankets, it gets cold up here, it was -3 degrees when we were here.

Please be careful after crossing the boarder Peru-Brasil. The road condition of BR-317 is terrible shortly after you cross the boarder for about 100 km. There are countless potholes, most of them impressively big. The road conditions gets gradually better the further you get, but occasional potholes will be there.

This is a good spot right on a canal after a bridge. Lots of birds. Not too buggy and not a lot of road noise. However it is a job site so you have to get out of there by 7 AM.

Pretty cool Hotel. Quite big, but they have cheap single fan rooms for 720r, as well as more luxurious rooms for a bigger budget.
Food (room service) all day round.
Big and safe parking lot in the backyard.
Personal is very friendly.

Ok place to stay overnight when driving all day. Free open wifi at reasoable speed, free showers and a nice little restaurant thar offers a variety of food options. About petrol: if you pay by cash or pix, there's a 0.20 R$ discount / L. We payed R$ 6.25/L today - way cheaper than further North, but still expensive.

1 person 1000 TL. I take into account that inflation is around 60% per year in Turkey, and it’s Bayram (national holidays) these days. Nice hotel, superb breakfast. Warning for cyclist: it’s in the outskirts.

Awful place with rude staff, shared composting toilets that smell and shared showers that have no water, no light in the shower and no latch to lock the door. They don't even have a good lake view. Left after one night.

The PA-100 road is really horrible! Huge holes, muddy passages where 2WD cars get bogged down. We are shaken like potatoes in our Defender. I also recommend at least a high clearance vehicle. Besides these inconveniences, the landscapes are superb! You will cross a huge plateau at 4500m with thousands of alpacas and lamas. Keep an eye on the lakes, we see flamingos.

Here is the office where you can get a permit to camp in Santuario Nacional de Huayllay. The name is "ANP SERNAMP". This permit is free, with that you can go to Ruta 2 entry and buy your tickets (5 SOL for a car, 3 SOL for adults and 2 SOL for children). You can camp to 2 spaces, first is at the elephant (do not take the first track on the left, but the second one) and the second one is at the Laguna JapurĂn (wonderful!).

Several water spigots on the car side (didn’t check the truck side) which have “diverter valves” that help prevent freezing. You have to pull down on that valve (it’s round and located on the underside of the spigot) and turn on the water simultaneously.

Great place next to the citadella hill. We paid 16$ for 24h. But you need to download the Indigio neo app. if you don't do this, it's double price at the Kiosk.
We took a shower at the John W. Lindsay YMCA. It was free an great.

The Trac-Mac team is very friendly and helpful. In the shop you can find spare and wearing parts, including tires and clothing. If you ask nicely, you can even do your own customer service in the workshop. It's always nice when you meet people who also have gasoline in their blood.

This was a great place to stay gets busy during the day and at sunset even though it is cloudy as it was last night. A truck camper pulled up about 9pm and took an hour and a half for them to settle down but all in all I would stay here again.

Awesome guy to help you with custom projects. Consulted with him about getting custom rims built for shipping container. Didn't work out because of the shipping companies but he was ver6 thorough with measurements and talking about the process. Lots of locals using this guy as well. Beautiful spot! Good T-mobile service. Nice and flat, big enough for a few campers in a group. Not sure if it's legit or not, sign says no four-wheel'n or motorbiking, doesn't say no camping. Nice big fire ring, thanks to the last person that left some wood.

Perfect place for an overnight stay. Traffic so constant it sounds like a white noise machine (I was completely unbothered by it). There were several other vans and an RV staying as well. Felt very safe.

We had some work done on our Sprinter. Trusty local mechanic. Father and son shop. There is also a body workshop beside them.
They took care of us for 3 days. We slept in our van, at the shop floor. We got power, water and a washroom. Nothing fancy but free and complimentary.
The shop does not look organized, but they know what they are doing.
Trusty mechanic shop.

Signs from Nebraska Public Power District warn to park at your own risk, but another sign says up to 14 days free. Drove a 38 ft Super C in here but would not try it after rain. Few places to turn around but found a nice long dirt parking area that was level enough to sleep for a night without using leveling system. Strong smell of feedlot while walking the dog but kept door and windows closed and wasn't bothered by it inside RV. Five over the air TV channels and two bars cell service and "good enough" 4G on AT&T.
