We spent the night here, a fantastic and mystical place. Don’t drive too close to the shipwreck or your car ends up as a new tourist attraction on iOverlander, we got stuck but luckily the tide was going back

A hidden gem. Great communal kitchen with log fireplace, best showers in months. Big truck, motorbike, mountain bike and pet friendly. Good well appointed rooms too. Sue and Rory extremely welcoming and friendly.

Camped near this spot. Great spot, nobody around. nice sunset and sunrise. However we were overwhelmed by the great amount of mosquitos. Other than that: great wildcampingspot.

Small nature reserve off the main road. Beautiful trees, no facilities at all. Great place to camp, deer and birdsong in the morning.

Convenient hotel to spend your first night in the country off the ferry. Police will want an hotel address at the customs before stamp you in. So because I had no internet they booked me this hotel, perhaps there are cheaper alternatives.
Hotel is clean, hot water, slow WiFi and walking distance to the city centre.
I paid 4000DZD which is 16€ with the current exchange on the street.
There is an closed parking I think but brought the bike in my room (ground floor)

Posto de combustível. bom Wi-Fi. Passamos uma noite aqui. Muito barulho. Os funcionários deixam um som alto ligado o tempo todo.

Indeed, a nice shop has plenty of goods, even found a screw 500ml gas canister. Also, prices are reasonable compared to Betta's, Sesriem... The road C27 is in very good condition.

The fort is closed for renovations, looks like more permanently. The parking infront doesn't allow "big cars".

Passamos uma ótima e tranquila noite no posto Shell. Pátio grande, serviços de borracharia, eletricidade, etc. Próximo a mercado, padaria, bares e restaurantes.

Don’t waste your time coming here. Just a few foundation pillars and nothing else. I thought I was at the wrong place to begin with.

Dormimos a noite nesse posto e foi bem tranquilo, os frentistas são educados e solícitos. Não tem chuveiro, mas o banheiro é muito limpo. O posto é a loja de conveniência FULL são 24h. Conseguimos tomada ao lado da loja de conveniência para carregar as baterias. A frente é bem movimentada, mas no fundo dá para dormir de boa.

rest area of the eurovelo route. next to the road, near the beach. it has water and some places to pitch a tent. I dont sleep here but seems a good place to spend a night

Very nice and interactive exhibition/museum. We arrived at 12.15 and has to wait 15 minutes for a guide. Tour takes about 45-60 minutes and is free. A must visit to get an insight of the oil industry in the GCC.

We pulled up at 10pm and spent the night here with no problems. There was one train sometime in the night but it went by fast and wasn’t too loud. Theres a gravel lot just off the road but we didn’t see it so we parked on the side of the road and it was okay. But the gravel lot has some trees and a bit more privacy. Across the street, V6 is a great little coffee shop with gender neutral bathrooms, opened up at 7a.
Overall, good stage spot to go to big bend in the morning, no complaints!

Un lugar súper vigilado. Con mucho flujo de personas ideal para dormir tu primera noche y así al día siguiente salir a pie a Pelourinho. Hacen algunos show de música en la tarde noche pero acaban temprano (21:00)

Take a little and bumpy road (not I google maps) . Best for 4x4 (a car can make it). Big vans will not pass under some trees. The location is a big flat area in middle of araucarias but there are many other smller spots on the way. Full 4g

This is our second time here. They're adding another bathroom which will help the massive crowds here. the potable water and dump is at a different location further up the canyon. If it's windy, don't stay here. it was an awful night. The rig was thrown this way and that way. the camp is on a high windswept hill . Do go further and take the hikes by the orchard and out of the launch ramp. there's kayak rentals now at the end of the road.

It’s cold and snowing got fuel here needed to sleep so hopefully nobody will bother me. Looks like a good spot.

nice rocky beach area along the river to camp. we had no trouble finding a flat spot and lots of trees for some privacy. There were some locals fishing when we showed up that didn't bother us at all. we also heard some dogs barking early in the evening, but overall a quiet night.

Place en contre bas du chemin, utilisée par les pêcheurs. Nuit calme mais beaucoup de moustiques en soirée
Attention aux gros gabarits, ça risque d’être compliqué pour y accéder
