Very dog friendly park. They can run off lead. Lots of strays but they’re all super friendly and up for playing.

Has basics, including some fresh produce (potatoes, onions etc). Helpful stop if you're cycling through. I was also allowed o camp at the back.

Indoor safe and secure warehouse storage facility with CCTV surveillance and we are an export and import shipping agent. We welcome all and any overland vehicles including motorcyclists.

Access from a nearby village but far enough to be on your own. Some spots at the end of the gravel road. With good ground clearance you can continue along grassy tracks along the westshore to the coordinates. Some fisherman might be around.

The locals are getting really fed up with people staying here. Last week XTG family stayed here and emptied their utility size truck tanks all over the street and flooded it. Enormous truck blocking the plaza. The locals eventually called the police and they were moved. Find somewhere else. They’re such loving people in this area. Maybe for one night but people are staying weeks. I’m at the camping and it’s beautiful

Clean grassy stands just to the side of the hotel, overlooking the municipal campsite. Lovely sea views and 1 minute walk onto the beach. Five stands with braai stands and plug points. Shared, clean ablutions. Whole place shielded from the street but not cordened off. Don't think they have any issues though.
Paid R360 for 2 adults and one child.

Good place to spend the day at. I worked here all day and napped with no problems two days. never even saw a patrol. I didn't risk camping because I saw the reviews so I slept at the Marina. But the same truck has been here both days in the same spot and windows are foggy, so maybe he's staying? I don't know but it's a great spot to hang out if you need to work or relax during the day. nice view, good short trail to take a little walk/hike. Okay Verizon

The few kms to get here are really bumpy and bad, it will take you at least half an hour but once you reach the monastery, it will be another world. Quite, peaceful, and secure. We stayed 3 nights and knowing the prices around, to pay 150k per person with 3 good and delicious meals included, is not bad at all. Also, you can fill up your water here, they have a 60m deep borehole with clean water. In the room during the day it is a bit hot and you only get a fan but it is very clean and simple. It is nice to recharge your batteries and try some food cooker by the sisters, which, by the way make their own mangoes and pineapple wine, sirops and marmalade, yogurt. The nuns will be very happy if you will attend at least once daily a mass with them for respect. After all, this is a monastery and not a hotel.

Tranquil campsite at the east side of the laguna.
During workdays I was alone but holidays and weekends can be more crowded.
It’s a Christian establishment but they don’t urge you to pray or anything ;-)
They have 1 hot shower AFAIK.
Dinner only prepared if groups have to be fed but it is 15 min to Colomi and besides there are some decent restaurants around the lake. You can use the fireplace.
