lots of building work going on so not the quietest of places and somewhat tired in areas but a good place to meet other overlanders and has secure parking for motorbikes and push bikes, certainly not the quietest night sleep though

He received us very kindly, we spent 3 nights 50 meters from his house since our vehicle could not enter due to height. He made us feel at home, and we had very informative and enjoyable talks, we believe that it is a must when one arrives in Nasca.

Nice little laundromat. Clean and has an attendant on site. Washer is $3.50. There’s a liquor store right next-door and a grocery store on the other side. Plenty of parking in front of the laundromat or you could park next-door at the Garden Farms Market.

I pulled in really late after being stuck in traffic (approximately 1:00 am). There were a few other vans and campers in the lot. The area felt safe, and I got a good nights sleep. The only downside was that the lot is adjacent to the highway, and some of the trucks were rather loud.

Stopped here for lunch and scouting for a beach side spot. Great place , but wind was blowing so decided to drive on to next beach (2km) which can be done by a car not over 2.10 wide.

lots of space, but locals coming and going all night. seemed to be the place to hang out after the bars closed. shouting, banging things, car horns, music, general drunken noises until 3:30am. I was there on a Friday, maybe it would be quieter on a different day. note if you're in a tent, the lights all turn on at sundown, and they are very bright.

Slept here in the car for one night. Except for one family that walked across the lot, we heard and saw nobody else. Very pleasant! Otherwise concur with what everybody else mentioned :).

Great to be back after 10 years. Absolutely love this place as it feels like a home away from home and we always meet such a great mix of travelers. Will hopefully visit again, just not in another 10 years!

Wouldn't recommend.
Almost no english and I paid way too much for nothing. Wanted a sim card with 10gb and got a sim card with 2,5GB for 20.000.
Just buy a sim card and some credit at a different store.

Campgrounds were full, great spot to stay outside the park if you're self sufficient and get up early to head out hiking. Some mobile service and some traffic noise which stops when gates close. Joined by a couple other overnighters.

Flat, level, gravel area alongside TCH. Great spot for an overnight stay. Reasonably private and room for a few rigs.

We came up from SADLC. The part in the mountain was quite easy driving. But in the long valley (low lands) the track was very rough. Some dry streams made short hard ramps, we had ground contact … Be aware of your slope angle! Not so perfect for longer vehicles.

We saw tons of them here as well. Although I do not recommend coming out here this time of year. We had to turn back due to mud and snow.

This place is still open. Nice family. We stopped for some chai. (He was going to give it to us for free but we gave him 10SOM). We didn’t ask about the cost of the rooms but they seemed nice; so did the pools, but we also did not partake.

Very good hotel at a reasonable price, very large, clean rooms, with bathroom and bathroom accessories. Wifi throughout the premises, and interior garage to put the motorcycle. The staff was very friendly and helpful, very good location, close to Marraketch but a quiet and safe area.

Tour group of 16 took 35 minutes. Officials were all very pleasant. There didn’t seem to be toilets. The road leading up to it on the Kyrgyzstan side was awful for 40 km on the northern route. All dirt Road many deviations. The road on the Kazakhstan side is bumpy tar for about 20 km

A great place to pitch a tent in the Black Forest, really close to the city. We slept here until 08:00 and no one bothered us. A guy from the city said he wasn't sure it was legal, but people do that and there's no problem.

Brillant campsite, large campsite plots under the shade overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park fence. New deck overseeing the waterholes with large numbers of animals, new pool (nice and fresh) and great ablution blocks (one campsite even have it's very private own one).
Owners are dedicated and always helping.
Location's a stone throw from the park entrance and the tared road.
Must see, must go.
