Excellent campsite! Plenty of room and quiet! Beautiful scenery to tour on your bike or by foot!

We stayed 3 nights
+ : Parking cheap (10 bs/day. Try to charge us 20 bs when we left !), convenient to visiting and flying above the town with the cable car blue line less 5 minutes walk.
- : There is a quite big pavement at the entrance. There are a lot of waste on the dirt ground. It's not the best district of the town so it's not pleasant (for us) to go out in the evening for a walk or eating out (It's better to stay in "Sopocachi" for nice restaurants and bars). And don't stay on sunday because it's football day. There is a football field in the parking and matches during all the day with some very drunk men... It's very noisy until 8pm and men urinated (and more...) all around our motorhome and all around the parking ! That why it's not possible to arrive on sunday. Not secure at all on sunday.
Don't recommend (althoug the family looks need money) unless you are very broke and don't want to park in the street.

Really nice spot in La Huasteca with an amazing view! Diego is a super nice host and we’ve enjoyed our stay here for the last 4 nights. There are a lot of great trails to hike that are close. The dogs on the property are very sweet! There is a toilet, small outdoor kitchen area. He will be in the process of adding outdoor showers. Very safe and relaxing!

I arrived here just after dark last night and couldn't access it; it looks like they're building a main road through (In fact the whole town seemed to be a construction site). I don't want to mark it as permanently closed as it's possible it will be accessible again once the road is built, but it might have lost some of its peace and quiet!

I came here after finding the 'near river' place nearby blocked by construction work and found that it was also blocked off by big piles of rubble. No way to tell how long for, or whether it will be accessible again later.

I parked up by the disused railway station just next door - a lady at the nearby comedor said there were regular police patrols. Sure enough the police came past at 10pm or so - they asked me to move to a better-lit spot just opposite the railway station and I had a peaceful night there. If not as discreet or charming as the riverside spot sounded! Not somewhere I would have planned to stay.

New backpacker hostel/hotel. Dorm with bunk beds and 6ish private rooms. Communal kitchen with fridge, gas stove electric kettle and utensils. Lounge area with sofas, TV and WiFi. Small book library and map of Ethiopia with high level info tourist destinations. Communal squat toilets and showers with hot water.

Staff can help organise boat trips to monasteries (local boat 10-12 people to Zege peninsula ~ 300 birr / person). Private rooms as per USD rate from Booking.com ~ $15/night.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and large. Hot water. Pet friendly and no extra charge. secure parking for large rigs. Cafe on premises.

Currently $10-$12 per night, depending on rig.

Not what it used to be I'm afraid. With the construction of the new seawall there's an improved road between the camp and the seawall, so it's perhaps 100 feet from the camp sites, and all day and evening it's a constant parade of cruisers going by with their stereos booming, going on until late at night on weekends especially. Also, it seems the neighbors all have the password to the wifi so it's so slow as to be pretty much unusable most of the time.

Also related to the seawall, there's no longer direct access to the beach. You can go 100 yards to some steep stairs in front of the hotel, or 200 yards the other way to the road the locals use to drive to the beach, not nearly as nice.

Still has clean flush toilet, (short) hot showers and a washing machine, so some real pluses in addition to being the only place in town. BA is a nice little town, I really enjoy spending time here, but the camp has gotten so noisy it's just not that attractive any more.

Nice little taco shop, open 9am-3pm Saturday and Sunday only, menu is fish tacos or shrimp tacos, but both are excellent. Well worth visiting for lunch if you're here on a weekend.

Two weeks ago I stopped at the Arco/OXXO gas station. A thief scoped out my van and followed me to Calimax. As soon as I went in the store they broke into my van and got my phone, my computer and all my cash for my trip, $1100, turned my 2 month trip into a short trip. This was about 1 pm on a Friday with a full parking lot and lots of people around.

Unfortunately I'd put it all in an old book bag to cross the border, I wanted to have it all together if I got pulled into secondary, and at my next stop would have hidden it, just really bad luck, but I'm sure this isn't the first time they've pulled this. The Calimax manager was great, but the police were pretty indifferent.

Guess it depends on what you want, to me this is by far the worst place I've camped in Mexico. If you want to see the worst of snowbird life, come here.

$20 a night to camp,extra charge for a shower, internet only works in the bar or restaurant, lots of big RV's running generators, drunks in the bar yelling at the TV's, sorry, this is what I come to Baja to get away from. Most of the time the Sea of Cortez is a few hundred yards away across the mud flats, not very exciting.

If you want to hang out in a bar with other norteamericanos, get drunk and watch sports, this is the place, otherwise I'd suggest avoiding it.

I was there and asked for the price for one night in my tent. They did not have electricity and water at this time because of a fire in the forest.
They still wanted to have 10.000 for one night.

I was there and saw a few people passing by. After I set up my tent a man came by and told me it is not safe there. He said it could be dangerous for my life to camp there. I left the place not only because of his earnings but also there were too many people who knew that I was there.

I tried to find this place but I could not. There is no sign of doorbell. I guess its closed.

Not really the nicest place but very convenient to spend the night. The parking lot is completely empty. (when I was there). Seems not to be used by anyone. Not far from the road. Sometimes a car passes. At night quiet. View on the sea and the dhows leaving the harbour

This station is located by the airport and is the first station we've found in Jedda that carries diesel. Most stations are petrol only. The price was great, though: 104 Riyal (28 USD) for 222 liters!

Long term vehicle storage. With added services like battery and vehicle upkeep while the vehicle is in storage.

huge mall with WiFi and toilets inside. Western chains McDonald's, Starbucks, large food court and shopping including large grocery store Danube.

Found a spot where the tire bump stop was removed allowing a big rig to occupy 2 spaces. local delivery trucks also parked here. this was a noisy location all night long with cars and trucks using the nearby road.

No one bothered us.

here you can fill small amounts of water, ask locals around if ok to take. Should be fine, but please no big tank filling.
