We saw a sign in front of a house - renting places for tents so we went to check it out because with high season going on, all the campgrounds are crazy busy and noisy. In the backyard of the house you can put up your tent, there are some tables and benches, toilets, sink, cold shower for free, hot shower inside the house for
1000 clp. They gave us extension cord and there are plugs. 5000clp pp for camping. View of sunset and access right onto the beach. Very quiet at night!

The place is like as describe. Quiet snd safe. The man that working in the arqueological ruins, tell us that we can sleep in the parking without problems. The police came one time to watching the place and was good. Is a good spot for sleep!

Now private, only open on weekends according to locals

Very basic hostel with three dozen double/quad twin rooms in a beautiful andalouse/mission-style traditional building (square layout around open central courtyard) in the medina (old city).

WiFi near the office. Secure parking for ~6 motorcycles or perhaps a small car or van in the gated, uncovered rear courtyard. Shower is piped for hot water but I didn't feel it within a couple minutes--maybe a longer wait is necessary.

This place is also a swimming pool. It looks quite nice. They have a field of grass where you can put your tent, plenty of space and out of sight. They asked for 30.000 for two people and our two bicycles, including use of the pool. The toilets looked not super great. The pool closes ar 17. We decided not to stay because the pool would be almost closed when we arrived. We decided to go to a nearby hotel where we paid 25.000 for a private room.

We also paid 25.000 for a double(ish) room with a fan. The rooms are very small and there is no toilet seat, but very clean! The garage downstairs looks very secure. Plenty of space for bicycles and motor cycles. Definitely a nice budget option.

Superb place to spend the day! Great food, great pools great playground for kids! Of course everything has a price, but for our kids birthday was worth the price!

They have throttled downloads so you cant download Netflix nor access YouTube or dropbox, etc. But the upload speed is super fast, so a good place to upload videos and photos!!

Stayed a couple nights at this safe-feeling, tidy campsite. The men’s bathrooms were working fine, didn’t check out the women’s but a fellow camper said they were fine. Sunday afternoon had a couple local groups picnicking , one with their Mexican traditional and modern music very loud, but no other issues. At 5-6 pm all became tranquillity and beauty. 180p per night per camp, not per person. Recommend it over the other camp/hotel on lagoon.

New place sinds January 2020. Hotel, restaurant and hotspring. You have to make a reservation for the hotspring as it is 10 min. across the wide river.
General menu with snacks, burgers, pizza. Good place for cyclists as this is the only place for a long time, esp if you go north.

Very very high and wide speed bumps, pulling into and leaving the dumping area! Scraped our sprinter, which I think is higher than most any RV. Would avoid if possible. Have never scraped our vehicle before. Wow!!

Our friends Vanagon had a window smashed in the middle of the day, sometime between 1-3pm. Won’t be staying here again. We had 5 vans parked here and they broke into one of them.

Easy access place. Familiar. Quiet. Very kind owners. Location close to the beach. Value of 20.00 reais per person. Vehicle is next to the tents or huts. Social area, simple, but with TV, refrigerator, stove and barbecue.

you can walk up here from the main square in paicol. there are several waterfalls. just follow the stairs uphill. there you can take a refreshing bath. it is crowded at weekends. free.

Absolute cracker of a shopping centre. Had a big supermarket/department store that sold pretty much everything. Has a Movistar and Claro if you need a phone sim. Big foodcourt and a bunch of other shops. Big open carpark with security. Great spot.

Nice campsite located on the outskirts of Neuquén, it is a very quiet place. It is an old "chacra" in Argentina, which today is beginning to function as a campsite. It has hot showers, barbecue areas and common kitchen for passengers. It also has a grass soccer field that can be used by passengers. Tere and her husband are very friendly and kind. Great spot with plenty of room for camping and hostel beds with curtains as well and thick blankets no heat in the rooms though. Staff speak perfect English and obviously Spanish .
Seperate large area for cooking and hanging out as well as seperate bathrooms and hot showers and fast wifi. Opened in 2019 and only open during high season.
