cluelessinafrica | Lovely small restaurant situated in an old fisherman's cottage. Fresh fish of course but also small plates (tapas style) with fish, meat and veggie options. My ice tea was also made fresh on order. Busy with locals even on a Tuesday night. Really recommend! |

bigyearcoffee.com | Lovely spot. You can hear a bit of the highway but it’s not bad. We arrived late and Hoyt informed us in the morning that you cannot park overnight in the riverside pull throughs closer to the bridge. If you arrive late, park in the parking lot or sites further into the park on the highway side. |

erynann | Such a welcoming sight to pull in at 11pm and be greeted by like 15 other RV’s and vans already parked for the night in the back of the light. Good ol’ Walmart. Lowe’s is the next lot over and also has rigs parked tonight, appears to be quieter too. |

Raymond A Stull | Staying here for a month @ $708/ Mo. We love this place! Heated pool and hot tub are open. We can tell they really care about this place. It is kept immaculate. The sites are tight, but somehow the landscaping minimizes the effect. All services are incorporated either in the main building or in a very close compound: Office, store, recreation room on one floor. Six beautiful, private shower suites, the fitness center, and laundry on the lower level. Outside the office level is the pool and spa on one side and a BBQ patio with three grills and patio seating on a balcony overlooking a ravine and mountainside. There are three spacious lanes for new check-ins and a pull through propane service lane. All of the inside spaces have mask and occupancy limits for Covid. |

opentoabundance.com | there are no signs to indicate any sort of parking restrictions on Poli Street. We stayed here last night and had lovely views over the city and woke up this morning able to see the ocean. There is certainly road noise but nothing that prevented us from sleeping properly. We were able to walk the dog easily and had great phone service. |

msj133 | Very safe, well lit, nice bathrooms at the end of the park. One other van parked along the park. I recommend not parking in front of the houses. Several people working out and playing soccer until about 9pm. Wasn’t bothered but a walker did a double take when I got out of the van at 6:30 am to let the dog out. Many walkers and runners out early. Keep it stealth. Respect this spot, I don’t expect it to be around long. |

transformative2020 | Great spot for the night. Overnight parking permitted; in doing my research, I found that people who do the Cactus to Clouds hike (a 20-miler) park here. 2 blocks from public restrooms open 8am - 10pm and within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. Great views of the Santa Rosa Mts, too! |

bfeldman63 | Worked well for us as a quick stay overnight. Just off i10 highway. Next to lake charles war memorial. Quite a bit of damage from last storm: war memorial, the lake piers and buildings nearby. Had no issues with parking area. 2 other vans stayed overnight as well. Nice park on lake and enjoyed walking the war memorial in morning. Nice local bakery “sweets and treats” with freshly baked tea biscuits. |
