Plateau overlooking Dinosaur Provincial Park, right before the park border along the road to Steveville. Looks like it’s between private and park land. Very exposed but we didn’t hear a car until the morning. Beautiful views in every direction. Won’t be good for a big rig as there is a ditch to drive through off the road.

The road was closed out to this spot... sadly we could not find any easy free parking in town... possibly by the shooting range... this spot looks like it would be awesome if the road was open...

If you keep on driving past the toilets on the unmaintained road there's a few turnouts with amazing views. What they're lacking in toilets they make up for in peace and quiet.

Drive to the end of the parking and into the forest where the road forks. Take the right road up the hill. At the end of this short dirt road is a flat place. Space for 2 vehicles. Pit toilet at the parking. Great view of Mount Hood.

We ended up staying here a second night and noticed that there are signs on the street that say "no parking between sunset and sunrise." They're sporadically placed, so we went with the "we didn't see them approach" and once again had no issues. just something to be aware of if you stay here.

still you can sleep here, and use the bathrooms, the rangers are very very friendly, and they have a paramedic if you have problems with the altitude.
And personal a like more the photos after the crowd.

30 soles for a clean matrimonial room, with private bathroom. Only cold shower (but that all we wanted with the heat here), good wifi, fan.
There is a garage available, however we were allowed to carry our bicycles upstairs and store them in the lobby.

Really nice people here. $3/person to camp in van in parking area. Hot showers (one with view of Cotopaxi!). Cute and cozy indoors. Llama in garden. Amazing hot chocolate. Wifi was pretty slow, but probably because of the number of guests. Let us fill our tank (we asked). Give a big hug to the llama from Melissa and Edd (just kidding😂)

There were many cars and people strolling around, but after the sunset most left and it was quiet. 3 other vans parked for the night.
It was extremely windy overnight, so that we had to repark into a more sheltered spot up the road.

Absolute fabulous views!! There's enough room for about three small campers and if it's full, there's another pull-out further up the gravel road for a 4th. So, much more space than we expected from the descriptions. No water source though.

Nice place, however, it's pretty popular. There were about 8 other parties when we slept here. Enough space for everyone though so no problem.

Nice pull off with plenty of parking just a few minutes outside of Seattle. We pulled in here around 11pm, took the dogs on a quick walk, and had a quiet night to ourselves.

Very nice! As described, secluded bay almost abandoned, coconut palms, not too many spots to park level. We met only elderly couple and young family, they said we can use their WC. Road has some rutted and steep sections.

Road is freshly graded and cleaned, no bushes in the way, should be doable in any vehicle, the last section is not too steep and still quite wide. Pretty view at night from the small parking lot. Hike is about 2km one way, first few hundred meters were steep, easy after that. Bring lots of water and snacks, the heat is tiring. We saw lots of lizards, birds and that raccoon animal with long nose. There are some rock walls on the trail, two pyramids and more walls on the top. It was a nice camping spot and interesting hike.

We didn't see the restaurante Jonas sign or the turtle camp one. There was a construction on the road maybe they took them down? There are some side roads which we didn't explore as the construction crew wasn't very happy with us driving up and down. The beach and dunes looked cool, the water was even good for swimming. The insect was bloodthirsty.

Nice historic site to visit. A lot of other nice places like lagoons and beaches on the way. You can see a lot of wildlife if you pay attention (tortoises, iguanas, sea lions, lots of birds, lava lizards,....).
Especially nice to go by bike. Just rent them in town ($3 per hour or $15 per day).

Very nice snorkel site. Depends a bit of the tides and currents how much there is to see. We saw many different starfishes (chocolate chip starfish and blue starfish), some rays (marble rays, eagle rays and sting rays) and some cool fish (e.g. a very big and beautiful pufferfish).
