Just before the GPS coordinates use the small gravel road right. After 100 m you can see (after a small parking space at the left) an entry portal to a big grassy field (left too). We guessed it is for construction companies. No one around. Quiet at night. We felt safe.

Road to new ferry port is a bit rough, very dusty. Arriving from Alat the new admin staff at Kuryk seem hopelessly disorganised. Have plenty of US$ to pay for insurance, 'bridge fee' for vehicles etc.

- The place is located on an utility road used by wood workers.
- We arrived at 9 o'clock PM and were undisturbed until 7AM in the morning.
- In the morning the first car passed by to go up the hill but they left us alone.
- Thereafter a couple more cars passed by all leaving us in peace.
- It's a great place for having one quiet night and enjoying a coffee with a fantastic view in the morning.

The parking lot by the lighthouse is a fantastic spot to stay for a night. View to Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean and also sunrise at the most eastern part. Some visitors for the sunrise and late evening.

Faire un baptême en hélicoptère, iguazu est un bon endroit pour cela , le survol des chutes , 10-15 min pour 430 réal par personne.

These guys fixed our tape deck and had it finished a few hours after we stopped in. Good price too.

big parking lot...quite a lot of campers. seems nobody cares if you stay here....we cooked outside and it was fine.

you can park here and also stay in thenight. flat gravel parking area. very spwctacular view. toiletts are available in the restaurant for 1 euro. best option for climbers...just a jump away from the sellatowers. enjoy

90 Pula pppn. Awesome camp set up with everything you need. Great facilities. Wifi reaches the camp and is decent. Only negative is the noise from the main road but for one night stop over it is a good place!

Big but quiet car park in front of the 'Theatre of the Lake', close to the lake.
Pay and display, £1 for overnight parking.
There was even a tent on the meadow next to the car park.

Free US Forest Service campground with 3 big sites in the middle of the forest. 11km from main road (US 26), very good access on paved road. Very quiet. Pit toilet

Simba farm lodge lies beautifully in the hills close to Kilimanjaro NP and has breathtaking views of Mount Meru. The lodge is a great stop for a couple of days although the camp site is simple with only a few facilities, such as toilet, hot shower and a big fire pit.
The campsite has some flat spots to park your car or pitch your tent and wifi is available at the lodge itself on certain hours due to the fact that the lodge isn’t on the main power supply yet.
You can have dinner, lunch or breakfast for good prices and most of the food is freshly of the farm itself. We had dinner here and without a doubt the best dinner we had at a lodge/campsite.
You can also buy your fresh produce such as meat, veggies and herbs here for reasonable prices.
Owners and Staff are very friendly and are really willing to help you out with everything. The owners also have a pit and can help you out if you have a problem on your car.

Son unos lindos Mariana, Pete, Mateo y Azul!! Viven en un cañon hermoso cerca de un río que pareciera fue un volcán! Se negocia con ellos la estadía y la comida de Mariana es deliciosa y muy natural! Nº hay electricidad pero si agua abundante!

A beautifully relaxing camp spot with gorgeous views of both the sunrise and sunset amidst the mountains! We stayed up top and backed in to where there are tire tracks through the grass. It was tucked away from the road and very peaceful.

Stayed overnight here as we didn't want to pay for the privelege up the road at the other Copec. Noone bothered us and a truck shielded us from the road noise (the usual truck/gas station noise though). Friendly staff - though we made sure to buy fuel in the morning so as they get some business.

Terrific place to stay while in Minca. Nice facilities, river access, WiFi, and a great owner who will give you a ton of tips. Made our time in Minca that much more enjoyable! Price is still 20,000 COP per vehicle

we went there to fix our problem of hydraulic pump. Daniel and all of his team was very helpful. In first they tried to repair it but it was so damaged. So he found rapidly a new one along with specific diesel filter. throughout they explained us what they did and how long time that will be during. we spend 2 days and one night in a clean garage with good Wi-Fi. they fix many other problems. the price were relatively expensive due to the price of specifical pieces. Daniel invoices 200 000 pesos of workforce for 2 working's days.

Primitive camping 14 day limit some nice wide spots

This place is shown in the wrong location (by a very long way), and it is also shown in the wrong location on maps.me
The correct location is at the south end of Lake Mutanda - on maps.me they say that Mutanda Eco Tourist Resort is here, while MECC is shown about half way up on the eastern side of the lake. MECC is actually at the south end location.

We stayed three nights. Cost $6 pppn to camp. As it was raining we set up camp in the big building at the bottom of the hill - raised wooden floor, good roof, one open side, even had a proper fireplace. No running water but the team brought water on request. Long drop toilets and bucket shower. They give a bucket of hot water for the shower if you ask. Really friendly and helpful staff. We managed to get gorilla trek permits here through the owner of the Golden Monkey hotel (he also runs MECC) with only 24 hours notice.

There are wooden platforms and grass areas, a small shelter with a sink connected to the water of the river. It's above a river where you can access. there is a contruction parking next to it

We spent 3 nights here and we felt safe.
It is quite around 8:30-9 pm.
There is unlimited and free wi-fi. It says you only have an hour but you just need to reconnect again to use it again as many times as you want.
We used the toilet at the bar

Aries is one of the greatest guys we met on our Journey. Stayed 2 weeks at his place, because we had issues with the engine of our car. He helped us to find a good mechanic. He also took us on a walk at weekend trough the neighbourhood to get our mind free while our car was at the mechanic. Alice the dog at his place is a super nice golden retriever...we miss her! He owns two cats as well. The place is total save. We left our baggage their while we discovered Quito by car. Bathrooms are clean and modern and Shower is hot and nice. Paid 14 USD per day for two people and to use a bathroom from one if his cabins. Nice place! Near to the airport is no problem and not anoying. Door has a bell and a sign with his phonenumber. Its really a place where you can feel like home. Thank you Arie for helping us that much! High recommendation!

all good. you can park in the beach or next to a hut. the guy is nice, likes to talk and has 19 dogs. If you are coming from the south you are going to have to turn around a little further north and come back

the police are very kind. we didnt ask for the toilet so we walked up to to municipality in the plaza. they seem to have 24 toilets

Nice place for sunset with benches. Many locals seem to come there to sit. it's a few blocks from many local restaurants

Big Campground (432 sites) operated by Xanterra, very crowded but surprisingly quiet. Sites can be reserved: $ 28. There are often Bison and Elk nearby at the meadows close to Yellowstone Lake.
