Most parking slots are free to park anytime. Only at the end of the no exit road you'll find the time limitations for overnight. Road is busy till midnight especially at weekends otherwise beautiful views!

Such a welcoming family! My daughter played with the 2 kids most of the time we were there, the parents invited us in for a potluck dinner one evening and to go hiking with them another day, felt like we were part of the family for a week. Clean toilets, hot showers, sink for washing dishes, faucet and hose to refill your van water tank, laundry machine, easy walk into town.

Huge campground. Shower and firewood location not very convenient. Did the trick though. Hot showers. Will be renovated in 2019. When we got there it started snowing, in no time all outside taps were frozen.. Paid $27 for a van and a fire permit was around $8, including wood. Resident elk included. :)

Still 300 Pula. We stayed at campsite 1 which is the furthest from the ablution, but still within walking distance. It is thus more private than the other sites, but vehicles do drive past campsite 1 to get to the others. 300 Pula is expensive, but the fact that you're in a game reserve with plenty of game, without an entrance fee, makes it well worth it.

José is an amazing host, one of those sincere hospitable Colombian people you meet! We paid 40000 for a room with 3 (!) double beds for the two of us. He offered us a drink and an ice cream when we arrived, he helped us out with the motorbike (which we could park inside on his patio)... Don't know how his English is, we spoke Spanish with him. Good value for price!

A large parking strip, right by the river, with plenty of room for campers. Free of charge and only a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Right next to a tennis court and a skatepark. The Prague free WiFi even reaches here!
We stayed for 3 nights and had no hassle whatsoever.
Perfect spot!

This stretch of road is pretty hectic and due to an accident I was delayed awhile. It got dark and the rain was hammering down hard. So I decided to find a (big-rig friendly) place to park.
This is A small roadside ‘strip mall’ with restaurant, cafe, mini-super All were closed when I arrived and parking lot empty. The bathrooms were still open until I went to bed and so I don’t know what time (if at all) they get locked.
Acceptable place to stay the night at the side of the highway.

Overpriced! We payed 10USD pax for a night. The owner and the farm are nice anyway. No showers if you don’t book a room for 100USD. Take the 30 min. and drive to Cabo Raso!

Really nice place.
Unfortunately, the day we arrived my husband was bitten by a fer de lance snake and we had to leave in emergency.
The staff/militaries were super helpful !

Did not camp here, but we went with them for a rafting tour. As it was low season, it was just the two of us going with the guide Rolando in a Doqui (small inflatable kayak). This was really fun. We enjoyed it very much and would go with them again!

Such a lovely place - so relaxing and so many facilities to use.
Very clean bathrooms. Very hot shower. You can use the kitchen. You can use a barbecue. You have lots of space in the common areas, hammocks, etc. Staff is incredible friendly. You can even get breakfast or have dinner there as they also have a restaurant. Also tours or horseriding available. Short walk into town. Highly recommended!
Planned one stayed three nights.

The shelters aren't here anymore, but there are piles of firewood with nails in it, so that's probably what happened to them. There was some kind of canoeing event on the river on Saturday so we were joined here by some spectators. All very friendly. The river water is very clear; we used it for washing and cooking. If you're here in warmer weather, you could swim in it as well. When it has rained, I'd recommend only driving here if you have 4x4.

we were refused entry as we had no visa registration card. The office person asked us to visit the migration police when open on Monday to get a visa registration card and pay a fine of 5000 rubbles. A visa registration card is needed to stay at this place. We found a new place to park our overlander and did not go back to this camp ground.

There are numerous dispersed camping spots out in this area. You will pass by many enroute to this one. A number are big rig friendly.

This site is at an uncharacteristic stand of cottonwood trees. There's a large rock outcropping on one side and a tiny creek on the other. Some mountain views.

Access via 375A. The previous dirt roads are just bumpy, but this one is tighter and more technical. It's possible you might need a little 4wd in some conditions.

Verizon LTE available.

Arrived without a reservation which may not be the best idea in the off-season period. Warm and helpful welcome but facility a bit down in quality compared to our May visit.

Make sure you stay in a marked site as they are trying to let some of the unmarked spots return to the wild. There are several sites as you continue up the road. I found one with really nice creek access. If you decide to continue driving south to exit, make sure you have accurate directions. There is a 7-point intersection at the top and, without signal, it's nearly impossible to pick the right one.
