This is a fantastic cafe serving incredibly good coffee and amazing food. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch. Prices are very reasonable and the eating area is in an open but covered area which has a beautiful garden area. As part of the premise are a few very good quality curio shops to browse while you’re there.

There is a way down to the riverbank here, nice flowing river in Oct, I stopped for lunch and a swim but you could stay overnight, you would be visible from the road and have the noise of the road but apart from that a nice enough spot

big parking for public buses, but they also have big garage for bus and vans - we repaired our resor spring (we had spare part, they don't have any) in our ducato-camper. 1000RUBaa

really great night. very quite down by river. few trucks at night. river is cold but thinking it might be a nice place to take a quick bath during the day it was nice and warm at 2 in the afternoon. night got pretty cold. happy trails!

Very clean, well equipped Workshop.
I went there to change my chain. I did most of the work using my own and their tools. The mechanic helped me with the difficult parts.

Their coloection of spare parts is rather limited, go to "Larsson" (to be found on Goolgemaps) instead.

They are very friendly towards travellers, as they do motorcycle travelling themselves. One of the mechanics speaks english.

Had a few issues at border. Nothing major but ended up here for two nights. It was chill. Has shower and water. Picked up LTE here also.

Very quiet plaza in Oaxaca. There is police around frequently. We slept here 3 nights excellent.

Beautiful place near to the lake. There are 220v, main lights, water, bathrooms, hot shower, tables, grill. For free in off season.

Nice RV park on southern side of casino. Paved pads with lawn between. Shade trees, water, drain and 30 amp electric. Dump point.
Absolutely quiet at night. $24 pn payable at hotel reception (NOT at RV park office way down the back)

A grey water pump at the edge of the village, off the ‘main’ road and along the old disused Road we cycled in on. Lots of water at end of the dry season, we filtered it just to make sure .

This is where you can extend your personal visa. (Not your car TIP, that must be done at DIAN). You can do this online but ours didn't work so we came here. Fairly easy, helpful people, no line when we arrived at 8am.

Tadjikistan is definitely the country of tolls.
Before Khogent, we paid 6 somoni for a campervan (category 2)

Cheap Hostal a 5min walk from airport.

Unfortunately no secure parking but a good option to catch some sleep before or after a flight if you are flying in or out of Lima.

Showed up here at midnight on a Sunday and they had someone manning it still.

I paid 50 soles for double bed and private shower.

Decent wifi. Hot shower.

They also have cheaper options without private bath.

And yes they rent rooms by the hour.

If you are looking for a Toyota 4WD specialist this is the place to go. Probably the best place in Turkey! Very nice staff, good mechanics and correct prices.

You can park just outside the entrance. Lovely and quiet, with ruins in background. You can use the park bathrooms sitting business hours. Staff at cafe wouldn't share wifi password, but maybe you can convince them...

Free. Open space to camp some with firepit and quite level.

Mechanic specialized on modern big bikes. They do big 1200 Gs's as well as big scooters and sportsbikes or whatever you bring them. Also sells gear and parts. I camped next to the shop for a few days and watched them working. Yes they have worked with modern motorcycles before and yes it might be one of very few shops with experience. BUT it is still an african garage. They don't know how to work with high quality stuff. No respect for the value. They lay brand new bikes on the side on the gravel to change chains, they don't clean the funnel before they use it for oil changes, they use sharp edged rocks to support the bikes for wheelchanges... Better do everything yourself and just ask them for tools and parts.

Didn't stay for the night. Gas was kind of expensive, S13/gal for 90. Showers and toilets were cold but clean.

Very honest person. We change our brakes. We had to buy the brakes and for 150 pesos he change it. we check some other mechanics and the prices where double.

Leaving Ecuador we left the TIP here (15 min), they open at 8am, than we drove to Peru side to make our exit from Ecuador and enter in Peru, all in the same building.

After the TIP cancelled in Ecuador side we came here. First make the exit from Ecuador, than go to the police area (they will check your name) and so after you need go to the aduana - vehicular entrance, there you make the entrance in Peru, TIP for the car and insurance ($20 for our Vanagon - 1month). We made it in 1 hour, arrived at 8:30am, I think there is a separate line for Venezuelans.

We spend the night before go to the border. Perfect place, clean bathroom, cold shower, safe and quiet.

Lots of room for all sizes. I got here on a Sunday afternoon. it was packed with ppl, BBQ, swimming, music. They all left by 6pm.
I choose to go to the other side of the old bridge and park my motorcycle on the dirt track then camp at the bottom by the river. Beautiful!
Unless there is howler monkeys or something else loud around here. well then it sounded like Jaguars roaring(?) in the night. who knows, but it was loud!
fishing was great. caught lots on a red and silver spinner.
