From Colorado to Central & South America | Highly recommended. Clean (composting) toilet; hot shower; decent wifi; clean communal kitchen; peaceful, scenic setting. 15-minute walk to Vilcabamba center. We enjoyed our brief stay here, found owners Nathan and Beatrice to be very friendly and accommodating. Vehicles over 7 mtrs in length may have difficulty, however, especially if other rigs are there already. |

losbuenosviajes.com | Safe spot in main square. Very hot. We arrived at 4pm to town and it was like a ghost town. At 6pm a lot of people came out to the streets til 12pm! We think because of the hot, at night was a little colder. No police bother us. |

nicolas | This is a must-do in the Coffee area. Javier and Ana used to be coffee Farmers for 50 years. They recently switched to organic and are planting trees instead of coffee - Javier will tell you why in the ecological walk he offers over the finca.

gmail.com | First thing first: Lovely and heart warming owner who helped us in a bad situation. Long story: Stuff was stolen from our 4WD trunk during shopping of food in Tsumeb. Daylight, 1am. Went to police, filed report. My pregnant wife got really bad with her stomach and bladder in the police station and we drove to the private clinic in Tsumeb. They kept her in the hospital for one day. In the evening we met parents of a girl in that hospital. Talked to them an told them the whole story. I planned to stay on the hospital ground with the car. After few minutes the father offered me a room in the restcamp. Told me that I can park there and stay for the night. No charges. He was the owner. Thank you! I hope that will get to you one day! We often talk about that situation even after years. You are a great Man. |
