Delicious food and lovely staff. There's a lot of sausage to choose from and a classic chimichurri comes with every meal. My partner loved his Patagonia Classic and as a vegetarian the veg smoked eggplant in ciabatta was delicious! Fairly priced too. Highly recommend.

Whene you want to drive from Rosso to Diama along the river. Then at the end of Rosso a police officer will ask for your Insurance for Senegal, because the road will not be on Senegal after 30 km, he told us? So he did not let us thrue!
So we crossed the border in Rosso.
We use a Carnet with 25 year old car. So other way I do not know.
We paid CAF 55000 Insurance for our 4x4 valid for multiple countries for 1 month.
Then we paid:
500 ug for boat ticket.
400 ug stamp customs.
150 ug police stamp.
100 ug community tax.
On Senegal side we paid:
3000 CFA police stamp
5000 CFA customs
2000 CFA community tax
So in general you have to pay a lot. (€50) We strongly advice to take the Diama border.
We will cross that border when we travel back next month. We will give an update at that border.

This place was incredibly helpful. Got us in right away even though they were busy to fix our tank issue and gave us an amazing quote on exterior work no other shop would help with. They did a great job and were super helpful! Ask for Steve.

You can't park in the park overnight, but just outside of park limits is a strew with unrestricted parking on it. Will take you just 2min to walk to the park when you wake up.

The sign says Rancho los Casian. We got there after sunset around 7PM, there was a rope but not closed. The campground is at your left when you get in. The shortest road to get there from San Felipe is very bumpy for about 2km, but ok for all vehicles if you go slow. You're better off going thru Ojos Negros. They charged us 120 pesos.

wow, well worth the 15 USD for a camper for 2ppl, hosts are so amazing. hot shower super fast internet, kitchen and a nice place to chill. the most amazing hosts you'll run in to!

Paid 11 dollar for room for 2. Oke price. Visa renewal office is 2 min walk. Could park van inside gates.

Friendly and helpful staff. 350 pesos for 2 people a night (to us that’s 100 pesos overpriced). Big gravel rv parking lot with electric, water and sewer. There is a game room with ping pong and football table and tables and chairs for the RV ers. There is a toilet in there. Than there is a small pool with warm water to swim. Next to the pool is a bathhouse with toilets and showers. The showers had barely any pressure and the water was warm enough but not hot. Quiet for sleeping. Some smell of cow lot next door. Faint noise of the train. Not a destination but surely a safe place to park. We were here in low season..

There is a camp with little houses near the road but we went to the bushcamp 3 kilometers away (just follow the signs). 4x4 recommended. Very nice place with basic but new and very clean ablutions. Many quiver trees between rocks plus 4x4 trail. We highly recommend it - if you like being off the grid but near the road.

As menthioned below outregeaous nice an well kept campsite..very clean abolution..lots of warm water..wonderfull pool overlooking the lake.

On the beach, protected, palm trees and Palapas. Small restaurant on site

can't recommend these guys enough. We stayed two nights. while they replaced clutch on 30 year old Leyland DAF. Very good workmanship and super friendly

Lovely! Lot’s of space to camp under the trees. Very good ablutions. Good spot to swim in the lake. Este gave us a very warm welcome! The bar music went off at 21h. Highly recommended! Price camping 3600kw pp. 6 fresh eggs for 600kw.

New Road, all Fine

Great place especially when you have kids with you..Farmtour..vegetables and lifestock with eeg collecting cow feeding and milking, take little goats on arm..great coffee and cake for 10$pp( kids5$) absolutely worth it 👍👍

Good spot but we couldn’t stay here ! Way too many “moucherons” (I don’t know how to say that in English, kind of small bugs), like hundreds of it that bited us. Tried to make a fire camp to make them go but it didn’t worked. Got us crazy so we left unfortunately
