Basic resort with basic bar, swimmingpool, voley pitch. They let us stay overnight for a tip. Wifi not working at the time. Quiet at night. Entrance highth: 3.5 meters

We put up the tent opposite to the ranger station as they have building works on the original camp site. Nice toilets and (cold) shower. Very friendly rangers. We didn't have to pay for camping, only the entrance fee to the national park (100 Baht per person). No restaurant on site, but 1-2 km down the road in both directions you can find a little restaurant and shop.

Nice, quiet and safe place - some rubbish but otherwise a decent neighbourhood, some shops nearby and within walking distance to centre!! After looking around definitely one of the better places for big rigs in Valpo - and free - didn’t check the public WiFi though.

New immigration office for both Brazil and Uruguay. Quick and easy. Open 24/7. No Uruguayan aduana or Brazilian Receita for obtaining or canceling your TIP. Both are in different locations indicated in IOverlander.

We filled our EU bottle here.
For 7 kg they first asked CFA15000, but after some nagotiation we agreed on CFA8000.
Because it was friday it took 2 hours because they went for praying.
They only fill with propane!

There is a small restaurant for simple meals.
There are more cats then sailboats in the harbor here. So bring your dog ;-p

Came here for shopping at 7 am and there Where at least 10 vans and campers who stayed for the night

This is a public parking lot. I asked the people in the court building next door and they confirmed I could stay overnight no worries. Great spot! Bit of noise from fire department nearby and general traffic especially in the morning. There is a bathroom but sink is broken and water is not running, I would not use. Overall highly recommend.

Just spent the night here in my sprinter van. No one showed up. This morning I walked the place all around and not a single sign prohibiting overnite parking.
Great place, noisy like most rest areas on highways but beautiful parking spaces for small rvs and vans.

camping situado en la orilla del lago, con unas vistas increíbles! Baños SUPERLIMPIOS y cuidados!! la mejor ducha de agua caliente de toda Sudamérica. La dueña muy amable. No vale la pena quedarse en río tranquilo, los campings están mucho peor y es solo un pueblo turístico.

Extremely expensive and maybe clandestine fuel station (46.99 pesos/L Super). The elderly man working there did a reset of the fuel pump while he was putting fuel in our car so we did not know anymore how much fuel he put into our car. He asked for 1500 pesos and when I insisted to give us a receipt (I had do ask twice and then walk into his office) he wrote '30 L NAFTA' on a small piece of paper. Avoid this place.

Indeed a very beautiful spot! We heard lions roaring from nearby... However, the forest department chased us away. Aparently its not allowed to stay over night.

This place is nicer than most in the same price range. Room with fan and shared bathroom for 10.000; room ensuite with fan for 15.000 and room ensuite with aircon for 20.000 CFA. Running (cold) water and electricity and it's quite clean. It's a big building and keeps temperature rather cool inside all day.

Do not come here! It's located in most dangerous part of the city.
We were robbed here by 3 guys with the guns. After dark they sneak in and likely we could avoid worst scenarios. The owner knows about the situation but don't tell anyone about the situation.

Very nice and big place. Run by the family. A lot of shades. By the river side. A lot of sites with electricity and water. Big, clean swimming pool with mineral water!!
Bathrooms are not so clean, but it's ok.
Place to relax before Mendoza.

Echo the last comment left, great place for food! We came by for an early lunch (11.30) and had a set meal - a starter of potato salad with egg, main of fried chicken con papas y arroz and a drink for 5sol. Other dishes are still 9-14sol. Parking available on the main square about 15 yards away. ATMs also located on main square.

half an hour for a clean wash of our car including ground-cleaning. not expensive and fast.

When we stood at the cemetary the police chased us away in the middle of the night. No information, they refused to give us their names. At the police station we found one of the guys was the boss. There he told us it is very dangerous to stay out of town. This information would have been very valuable to us in the first place but they simply wanted to get rid of us. So be aware. If you want to stay in this town only camp in front of the police station!

This is not a usual hostel. It’s more a homestay. You can get a room for two or three persons on a little farm which is run by a very kind and hospitable woman (Jana). Toilet is outside, warm water you can get when you make a fire in the bathroom‘s stove. We payed 10,-€ per night and had a lot of nice chats with Jana 😀

According to the description, we were able to wash our motorhome of 3.30 meters (10.10 feet) high without problem, I could even put the pressure on the roof while standing. Still 13 pesos the token.

wonderful location to visit. the staff is very friendly. campsite and banos are brand new. the tour- we did the 9am one- is just fantastic. we definitely recommend it. tour was 350 pp and campsite free.

Cool spot. Check the tide schedule for hot springs. Accessible only around low tide.

Great spot to stop for the night Outside of Bogotá. Very friendly. The bunny loves to be fed grass.

And the tea! So delicious. FYI they package and sell the tea. Or by the cup. Just ask if you want some for the road!

Restaurant open Sundays only, but they did offer to cook for us anyways.

We arrived around 8pm. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could park our car nearly in front of the hotel. They speak just little english but communication with Google translate worked well. Many restaurants are nearby.
Rooms are clean, spacious and totally fine for the price of 110 tl/night including breakfast for two persons.

Still here, very pleasant staff, fill for 9 pesos per 20L garrafon.
