Strong AC. Good food. Free WiFi. Decent cappuccino. Not cheap but a good place to waste away time while waiting for visas.

Overlanders can still stay for free and the campspot is quite nice and clean. Although I would not recommend you to stay there. We were sleeping at campsite2 and in the night two guys stole some stuff and tried to break into my car while we were sleeping above. I jumped and started screaming, they ran away. Very scary. Next morning the police can but couldn’t help...

A very basic accommodation in Las Nubes located right next to Causas Verdes. They offer rooms with private bathrooms for $350 pesos/night and rooms with a shared bathroom for $250 (bathroom is located outside). There is not much to the rooms besides 2 beds, but the rooms are clean and have a window with a mosquito net that provides good air flow. Not very cheap for what you get, but there are limited options in this area. We were quoted $900 pesos/night for the eco cabana “Causas Verdes” located right next to this accommodation.

A good option for food in the area of Las Nubes. We had 2 plates of huevos rancheros and 4 quesadillas for 150 pesos. The food isn’t amazing, but better than what we’ve had so far in the area.

Nice, quiet hostel close to the main square. Matt, the owner, was friendly & extremely helpful with a lot of local knowledge. Offered secure parking for our motorcycle. Room was large, clean, had a fan & a great shower. The property offers a shared kitchen & outside courtyard (with a very friendly dog). The breakfast was great. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, bank & supermarket. Thoroughly recommend.

Road is NOT closed, just under construction. Looks like this will be the new main highway as the work is top class. Just add an extra couple of hours onto your travel plans. This will likely control for another year.

No longer big rig friendly. We are 3.5m tall and 7.4m longer and could just barely get in to the hostel. Too bad as the location is great, nice amenities and lots of hiking and birding.

We used this agency to do a tour of Barba Bremen. 35000 COP per person 9am - 1pm. That seems to be the going rate in town. Cool tour, howler monkeys were a treat, but I think it’s a 50/50 chance you get to see them (but you can definitely hear them!). Hike was a bit challenging since you’re going straight down the canyon and back up. Wear bug spray!

Access with a big RV, was not possible. Both in height and in the narrow gate. Higher than 2,5m we don’t recomend. See photos.

Amazing spot if it wasn’t for the absolute **** of a dog that barked all night. It was utter hell because it ran up and down the beach barking at all of the tents and campers. Avoid.

We parked here for 4 nights while ou Friends were fixing their Van. It is safe, a bit noise in the night and you can ask the hotel to use shower, toilet, wifi and kitchen. They can make a deal for overlanders.

Rooms open up to a courtyard with shrubs and flowers. very tranquil. The owners lovely family. They have a shop so we bought some beer and water and bread! They let us use our camp stove in the room. Small table and a couple chairs in the room. We have ensuite too! We paid 50 sol a night and stayed 3 nights. They took us to hot springs 10 min walk away! Also let me use washing line on the roof and brought me pegs to use! Under cover parking for our motorbikes too! Very hot shower. 30 min drive to see condors at miradors. Can also walk to the old town Uyo Uyo.

This entire street is ideal for anyone looking for spare parts. We went to Glitters, who were friendly, helpful and excellent. We got our tail light for a third of the cost of Toyota. Highly recommend.

Camped right out in the beach. Just beautiful, one of my favorite spots so far. Ate dinner in the nearby hotel one night, expensive but good.

The other review say it all. A traditional farm/ex farm with camping for couples/individuals near the house and a campground behind it with hot shower and toilets that was being used for vans/ group at the time of our stay . Offered tea/coffee and eggs on arrival and breakfast in the morning in their kitchen, next to the warm stove - a bonus after a freezing and wet ride over from Queulat. Feels quite remote and beautiful, just on the river plain below the mountains which adds to the atmosphere.

I am traveling East Africa with my motorbike.
Great camp site and great location to visit Hell's Gate NP. 1600KES per night (two people)
Bring earplugs since it is full of loud birds. On the weekends it gets a bit crowded.
