Great little camping area in the heart of Loreto. Clean showers with hot water. Alberto and his family do a great job of keeping the area clean and secured. 200 for no hook up 250 with hook up.

Lovely campsite in quaint Huinganco.
Price 200 ARS / 4.90 USD (Mar 2019).
Shaded sites with bench, table, fireplace, electricity, WiFi.
Great hot showers, potable water, sinks.
Friendly owner.
They also have cabañas.
Although there's a gate, I don't know if vehicles are allowed in as the terraced sites are quite narrow.
One covered table/chair area if weather turns wet.

Since some overlanders came things are changing....Big rigs (7,3m) are not so welcomed even if you pay 2places. Militaries don't want us to park on their parking which was empty . So we loves to the parking near lago. Ask for 60R$/day for 2 and motohome., but no facilities and there is a person day ans night looking for. As usual big cities are difficult for motorhome...

After being chased of sugar loaf (Big rigs more than 6m are not welcome) we parked on the parking beside the lake and héliport. 60R$/day seems secure, 1 guy stays during night. no facilities.

Delicious coffee. Nice ambiance. Dogs welcome. Games on table and jazz on the box. But no WiFi.

Nice hotel with friendly owners, hot showers and save parking for cars/vans/bikes. Bigger rigs would not fit in parking lot but can park outside in the street.

Very cool water park with a lot of show and people on Sunday. 300 peso for a night with electricity and multiple access to the pools. Clean washrooms and super quiet after 7pm. Night guard around but also tons of mosquitoes. We really enjoyed the stay, nice owner and staff.

We found this wonderful place after being beat up traveling on the terrible road to Tierradentro. We couldn't make it to the town and this place just appeared. The caretakers had no problem offering is a place to park right next to the pond. Great birding there. Though we probably overpaid in the morning, we gave them 20,000 for the night. We felt it was worth it.

This road starts out new and paved but turns into a terrible rocky one lane road. 17 kms before Tierradentro.

awesome cave to cool off in! The tour takes about 2 hours and you trek through about knee-deep water half of the time to get to some really spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. This place offers tours of the cave as well as camping. I did not camp here because it was a hundred and fifty pesos which was the same cost as a hotel with a nice shower that I have also marked here on ioverlander. they also do zip lining archery and a few other action sports oriented tours. the Cave is well worth the 70 pesos!

great hotel with private rooms for a hundred and fifty pesos. The beds are very comfortable in the shower is crazy hot! also there is a very nice River next to the hotel which sounds amazing when going to sleep. secure parking included and big rigs would have no problem fitting in here.

if you're on a motorcycle the ride to get here is truly phenomenal and the cave just to the north of town is spectacular.

Big city centre parking lot run by a helpful excellent speaking chap called German. charged us 300 pesos a day for safe secure parking for 3 days.. with electric and use of a bathroom in the lot. cctv and 24/7 parking makes this a great option. Quiet at night and 300 metres to a mahooosive Carrefour. centro on your doorstep. great option. we are in a Mercedes Sprinter and take up little space.

Nice old house in walking distance from the old town. Safe neighbourhood and very helpfull hosts: Claudia and Juan. Ideal place if you want to prepare your car for shipping. Sleeping in the car is not allowed but you can rent a room inside the building. Cop 80000. Recommanded.

El lugar es en el supermercado Soriana, estuvimos varios días antes de enviar la camioneta hacia Colombia, es seguro y gratis. Hay una llave de agua frente a la pizzería, también se pueden usar los baños que están impecables. Como nota de color de este lugar, los sábados cortan el pelo gratis en el centro comercial que está junto al Soriana.

Had our Sprinter entered - looked through some of our storage areas. Asked what we had inside. Took about 2 minutes. Nice enough soldier. We spoke spanish with him.

Full size grocery store for everything you’d need, including a purified water station (15pesos/garaffon at time of review) Also, another mercado immediately next door with similar items plus household/automobile stuff. Both markets are very inexpensive. Both are right on the sharp curve in town.

Easy place to stay, 6 places only but we arrived late and stood next to it . Nice location, a litre bit too close from the road but ok for one night. Free. 4G.

Closed on Saturday and Sunday when we passed. Nobody around.
